Motorboat-RU team by me

Hey i'm back with another team, my first RMT'd RU team that actually runs smooth I created this RMT to get everyone's second opinion since im not the best at this teambuilding.

430.gif

Honchkrow (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Insomnia
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Brave Bird
- Night Slash
- Superpower
- Heat Wave
This is honchkrow, my usual check to sceptile and anything fast obviously as it is a scarfer. only problem i have is his survivability and he doesnt have that last little push to take things out, even with max attack.

308.gif

Medicham (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Pure Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Hi Jump Kick
- Ice Punch
- Drain Punch
- ThunderPunch

My wallbreaker helps me with all things eviolite and the best ive ever used no problems with it a huge help, clears everything out of my way.

Rotom @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 64 HP / 192 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Charge Beam
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
he's who i choose to finish the game off with everyhting setting up to prepare for his coming, i absolutely love this set it packs heat and is only walled by lanturn but that's remedied by a quick hi jump kick from medicham

211.gif

Qwilfish (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
- Taunt
- Waterfall

my taunt user a quite the tank sets up the spikes and toxic spikes for rotom to finish the game up quite nicely and scores a few kills himself. only falling prey to jynx and the like but i have munchlax to cover that and slow it down to get rotom in there and finish the job.

446.gif

Munchlax (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 136 HP / 124 Def / 248 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Body Slam
- Whirlwind
My special wall probably the best in the metagame and is my go to for anything fast to knock them down to size.

344.gif

Claydol @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
my physical wall and my stealth rocker i like this set also because of claydol's sheer bulk and when it needs to itll take a few things on hand to hand.

I'm sorry if this one is a bit short, if i didnt mention it before i need second opinions incase i went wrong in building this, anykind of help would be gratly appreciated

I think you should switch your choice users. Medicham needs the speed boost and Honchkrow will destory w/ a CB (or life orb) and if you're worried about his speed then Sucker punch is priority

You probably want Moxie on Honchkrow above Insomnia because you have a sleep absorber in Restalk Munchlax. I agree with Redjar - you should give Medicham a scarf because it really needs that speed and change Honchkrow to a Life Orb Sucker Punch set, which is far more dangerous than the scarfer. I'd also suggest that you run Pursuit above Sub on the Life Orb set for Honch, because it can remove bulky Psychics and Ghosts so that Medicham can clean up better late-game.

I definitely agree with Redjar. It's a smarter idea to run Choice Scarf on Medicham because its attack is already over 400 with Jolly scarf and it needs the extra speed to outspeed common threats in RU.

Honchkrow's Life Orb Sucker Punch has a 95% chance of OHKO'ing Sceptile after Stealth Rock damage, so I would recommend running Life Orb over Choice Scarf for that reason.

All in all, great team, and good luck!

Hey, I remember this team from when we battled a few days ago, and I do have some changes that you should consider. Firstly, your team is extremely weak to Swordds Dance Feraligatr. You have absolutely nothing that it can't outspeed or KO with Aqua Jet, as although Qwilfish lowers its Attack, it doesn't do anything to stop it while Feralgatr just sets up another Swords Dance. Thus, I suggest a Ferroseed over Qwilfish. Ferroseed forms a great defensive core with Munchlax, as although sharing a weakness to Fighting they each can handle most of the tier's physical and special attackers, respectively. It doesn't matter that they share a Fighting weakness, as you have Rotom, Claydol, and Medicham to absorb those blows anyway.

Next, just a small EV spread change on Munchlax. While the current spread is fine for taking on both powerful special attackers such as Sceptile, and some physical threats as well, in light of dropping Qwilfish, this leaves you more vulnerable to Entei. Thus, I suggest 136 HP/164 Def/208 SpD Careful on Munchlax. The current spread already takes no more than 35% from Choice Band Entei Flare Blitz, raising your Defense to take its hits better couldn't hurt. The new spread ensures that Life Orb Sceptile Focus Blast will never 2HKO after Stealth Rock, while investing what was taken out into Defense. There's really no risk to this, as the on-site spread was made to counter Alakazam, which is now banned.

Ferroseed > Qwilfish
Pros: Can counter Feraligatr while offering paralysis support
Cons: No Toxic Spikes or Taunt, also lose the general usefulness of Intimidate

New spread on Munchlax
Pros: Patches up slight weakness to Entei, current spread is a bit outdated
Cons: None really, you still survive all crucial hits

Ferroseed (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave
- Gyro Ball
Remember to change the Speed IV to 0.

Munchlax (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 136 HP / 164 Def / 208 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Body Slam
- Whirlwind
