Wo-Chien best fits on both balance and stall teams due to helping them overwhelm Pokemon like Flygon, Barraskewda, and Rhyperior. Unfortunately, Wo-Chien awful typing makes it weak to many common threats such as Flamigo and Chandelure while the Pokemon it was supposed to check like Flygon and Munkidori can threaten Wo-Chien by hitting back with U-turn. **Fire-types**: Chandelure, Arcanine, and Rotom-H can do major damage against Wo-Chien with their Fire-type attacks and the latter two can use it as setup fodder. However, none of them enjoy switching into its Knock Off, Leech Seed, and Ruination.
