[OVERVIEW]

Wo-Chien's excellent bulk, typing, and great ability give it a unique place in NU, allowing it to consistently handle powerful wallbreakers such as Basculegion-M, Flygon, and Barraskewda. Additionally, it can exploit common walls like Vaporeon, Bronzong, and Galarian Slowbro. Furthermore, Wo-Chien can make some great progress thanks to its access to both Knock Off and Leech Seed. Unfortunately, Wo-Chien's typing also makes it weak to many common threats such as Flamigo, Munkidori, and Chandelure, while the Pokemon it was supposed to check like Flygon and Decidueye can threaten it by hitting back with U-turn. Wo-Chien struggles to do anything against certain walls like Amoonguss and Poison Heal Breloom due to them being immune to its Leech Seed and their access to recovery. Wo-Chien's lack of recovery can force it to use Protect or RestTalk, allowing Pokemon like Munkidori, Scrafty, and Raikou to freely set up or put some pressure on Wo-Chien with chip damage.

Foul Play gives Wo-Chien a great advantage against physical wallbreakers like Swords Dance Rhyperior and Basculegion-M, while Ruination can be used for solid chip damage and to threaten walls such as Galarian Slowbro and Diancie. Giga Drain can be used to answer Rhyperior most effectively. Protect allows Wo-Chien to scout out any Choice item users like Flamigo and Chandelure while giving it extra Leftovers recovery. Wo-Chien can run a RestTalk set, letting it consistently handle foes like Barraskewda, Flygon, and Cinccino as well as dealing with any status attempts. Leech Seed can wear down foes such as Overqwil and Scrafty that Wo-Chien struggles to make progress versus otherwise. Leftovers provides Wo-Chien extra recovery, whereas Heavy-Duty Boots allows it to not be worn down by repeatedly switching into entry hazards. 16 Speed EVs let Wo-Chien outrun Adamant Rhyperior and potentially threaten it with Foul Play or Giga Drain. Tera Poison offers Wo-Chien a resistance against both Fighting- and Poison-type attacks from foes like Flamigo, Toxicroak, and Overqwil. Tera Ghost lets Wo-Chien spinblock Tsareena, and it gives Wo-Chien a useful immunity against Fighting-type moves from Pokemon like Infernape and Paldean Tauros-W, while Tera Fairy offers a Fighting-type resistance with a trade-off for better handling foes like Flygon, Heracross, and Incineroar. On top of that, Tera Poison, Ghost, and Fairy allow Wo-Chien to better handle U-turn from Flygon and Cinccino. Alternatively, Tera Dragon lets Wo-Chien better handle Fire-types such as Chandelure, Infernape, and Arcanine.

Wo-Chien best partners with defensive teammates such as Bellibolt, Rhyperior, and Galarian Slowbro, since they can better handle threats like Flamigo, Arcanine, and Toxicroak. Fire-resistant teammates such as Vaporeon, Diancie, and Altaria can help Wo-Chien handle foes like Chandelure and Infernape. Pokemon like Toxtricity, Basculegion-M, and Kilowattrel appreciate its Knock Off for threatening foes that heavily rely on their item like Porygon2, Rhyperior, and Klefki. Additionally, Wo-Chien struggles to break through Pokemon like Amoonguss, Goodra, and Poison Heal Breloom; thus, it pairs with teammates like Kilowattrel, Scrafty, and Diancie to handle them. Entry hazard removers like Altaria and Cramorant are crucial for helping Wo-Chien to better switch in against Pokemon like Basculegion-M and Barraskewda without getting worn down. Hazard setters like Rhyperior, Duraludon, and Gligar appreciate Wo-Chien's Knock Off making their hazards more effective against foes like Altaria, Cramorant, and Bellibolt. In return, they can handle Flying- and Fighting-types like Kilowattrel and Flamigo, while Wo-Chien can threaten Ground- and Water-types such as Flygon and Vaporeon.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
====

Stun Spore can be used for slowing down faster foes like Flamigo and Overqwil, but Wo-Chien prefers to run other utility options. Wo-Chien can run a fully physically defensive spread, letting it better handle foes like Flygon, Drednaw, and Rhyperior; however, it makes Wo-Chien worse against threats like Inteleon and Amoonguss. Tera Water maintains the Water-type resistance while giving Wo-Chien a better matchup against Fire- and Ice-types like Paldean Tauros-F and Alolan Ninetales, but it gives Wo-Chien a weakness to Electric- and Grass-type moves from Raikou and Breloom.

Checks and Counters
====

**Fighting-types**: Toxicroak, Flamigo, Breloom, and the Paldean Tauros formes easily threaten Wo-Chien with their Fighting-type attacks, but they must be cautious about switching into Leech Seed and Ruination. Scrafty can use Wo-Chien as complete setup fodder while forcing it to use up its Tera. However, Scrafty must be cautious about switching into its Leech Seed and Ruination.

**Fire-types**: Chandelure, Arcanine, and Incineroar can do major damage against Wo-Chien with their Fire-type attacks, and the latter two can use it as setup fodder. However, none of them enjoy switching into its Knock Off, Leech Seed, and Ruination.

**Fairy- and Poison-types**: Sylveon, Alolan Ninetales, and Diancie can overwhelm Wo-Chien with their attacks, but they need to cautious about switching into Leech Seed and Knock Off. Poison-types such as Galarian Slowbro and Overqwil can threaten Wo-Chien with status, while the latter can tank its STAB attacks; however, both of them can’t repeatedly switch into Leech Seed and Ruination.

**Bulky Grass-types**: Amoonguss completely walls Wo-Chien thanks to its access to Synthesis and Regenerator, which allows it to repeatedly switch in against Wo-Chien. It can also threaten Wo-Chien with Toxic or Sludge Bomb poison. Tsareena and Poison Heal Breloom can be major roadblocks for Wo-Chien, since Tsareena can threaten it with Knock Off and U-turn, while Breloom can use it as free setup fodder; however, the former must be cautious about switching into Ruination.

Wo-Chien excellent bulk, typing, and great ability gives it a unique place in NU. Tablets of Ruin allows Wo-Chien to consistently handle powerful wallbreakers such as Basculegion-M, Flygon, and Barraskewda. just combine these two sentences into like "Wo-Chien's [insert those traits] give it a solid niche in NU, letting it consistently handle powerful wallbreakers such as [insert wallbreakers]" Additionally, it can also break exploit (better word choice me thinks) common passive walls like Vaporeon, Bronzong, and Galarian Slowbro. Wo-Chien best fits on both balance and stall teams due to helping them overwhelm Pokemon like Flygon, Barraskewda, and Rhyperior. Unfortunately, Wo-Chien awful typing makes it weak to many common threats such as Flamigo and Chandelure while the Pokemon it was supposed to check like Flygon and Munkidori why are we checking Munkidori with a Grass-type :( can threaten Wo-Chien by hitting back with U-turn. Wo-Chien struggles to breakthrough do anything against certain walls like Amoonguss and Tsareena i mean you can ruination vs it forever so I'd replace tsareena with a different mon due to them being immune to its Leech Seed and access to reliable recovery.

We can discuss where Giga Drain belongs in the set, but it's definitely worth having on here SOMEWHERE because of Rhyperior and how easily you can invest to outspeed it.

Wo-Chien can run a RestTalk set letting it consistently handle foes like Barraskewda, Flygon, and Cinccino as well as dealing with any status attempts. Leech Seed can worn down foes such as Copperajah Overqwil and Scrafty, but Taunt allows Wo-Chien to cripple defensive walls like Vaporeon and Avalugg that Wo-Chien struggles to make progress versus otherwise. Stun Spore can be used for slowing down faster foes like Munkidori and Inteleon Flamigo and Overqwil (munkidori dies to knock off and no one uses inteleon) but it prefers to run other utility options. Body Press lets Wo-Chien better handle Steel-types like Copperajah and Duraludon. Power Whip allows it to threaten Water-types like Swampert and Vaporeon. (not worth using) Wo-Chien can run a fully physically defensive spread letting it better handle foes like Flygon, Drednaw, and Rhyperior; however, it makes Wo-Chien worse against threats like Inteleon and Amoonguss. **Wallbreakers and Setup sweepers**: Powerful attackers like Barraskewda, Kilowattrel, and Munkidori can put pressure on it with their attacks but they must be worried about switching into Knock Off. setup sweepers like Swords Dance Flamigo, Dragon Dance Flygon, Shell Smash Drednaw, and Meteor Beam Diancie can put a lot of pressure on Wo-Chien; however, the former three get demolished by Foul Play while Diancie can get overwhelmed by Ruination and Leech Seed. way too vague of a paragraph. like yeah invariably a wall will have a breadth of Pokemon that beat it, but we can keep it to the more specific sections you wrote.

**Fairy- and Poison-types**: Sylveon, Alolan Ninetales, and Diancie can overwhelm Wo-Chien with their attacks, but they need to cautious about switching into Leech Seed and Knock Off. However, both the former (i'm like 99% sure breloom just 1v1s woch with pheal and protect) must be cautious about switching into Ruination.

Leftovers provides Wo-Chien extra recovery, whereas Heavy-Duty Boots allows it to not be worn down by repeatedly switching into hazards. 16 Speed EVs let Wo-Chien outrun Adamant Rhyperior and potentially threaten it with Foul Play or Giga Drain. Tera Poison offers Wo-Chien a better resistance against both Fighting- and Poison-types attacks from foes like Flamingo, Toxicroak, and Overqwil. Tera Ghost lets Wo-Chien spinblock Tsareena, and it gives Wo-Chien it a useful immunity against Fighting-types moves from Pokemon like Infernape and Paldean Tauros-W while Tera Fairy offers a Fighting-type resistance with a trade off for better handling foes like Flygon, Heracross, and Incineroar. On top of that, Tera Poison, Ghost, and Fairy allow Wo-Chien to better handle a U-turn from Flygon and Cinccino. Alternatively, Tera Dragon lets Wo-Chien better handle Fire-types such as Chandelure, Infernape, and Arcanine.

Wo-Chien best partners with defensive teammates such as Bellibolt, Rhyperior, and Galarian Slowbro since they can better handle threats like Flamigo, Arcanine, and Toxicroak. Pokemon like Toxtricity, Basculegion-M, and Kilowattrel appreciate its Knock Off for threatening opponents that heavily rely on their item like Porygon2, Rhyperior, and Klefki. Additionally, Wo-Chien struggles to breakthrough Pokemon like Amoonguss, Goodra, and Poison Heal Breloom thus it pairs with teammates like Kilowattrel, Scrafty, and Diancie to handle them. Hazard removers like Altaria and Cramorant are crucial for helping Wo-Chien to better switch in against Pokemon like Basculegion-M and Barraskewda without getting worn down by hazards. (talk about entry hazard setters like duraludon, rhyperior, and gligar with how WoCh can spam knock off to remove boots + other inherent benefits like phys wall + spdef wall combo or them raking flying / fighting attacks while you handle ground / water ones)

(dark types are usually expected to beat chandy so as a fire-weak dark mon you’re forced to have a fire-resistant teammate like vapo, altaria, or diancie)

Stun Spore can be used for slowing down faster foes like Flamigo and Overqwil but it prefers to run other utility options. Wo-Chien can run a fully physically defensive spread letting it better handle foes like Flygon, Drednaw, and Rhyperior; however, it makes Wo-Chien worse against threats like Inteleon and Amoonguss. Tera Water maintains the Water-type resistance while gives it a better matchup against Fire- and Ice-types like Paldean Tauros-F and Alolan Ninetales but gives it a weakness to Electric- and Grass-type moves from Raikou and Breloom weakness.

Checks and Counters
====

**Fighting-types**: Toxicroak, Flamigo, Breloom, and the Paldean Tauros forms easily destroy Wo-Chien with their Fighting-type attacks, but they must be cautious about switching into Leech Seed and Ruination. Scrafty can also used Wo-Chien as complete setup fodder while forcing it to used up its Tera. However, Scrafty must be cautious about switching into its Leech Seed and Ruination.

**Fire-types**: Chandelure, Arcanine, and Rotom-H Incineroar can do major damage against Wo-Chien with their Fire-type attacks and the latter two can use it as setup fodder.

Poison-types such as Galarian Slowbro and Overqwil can all threaten Wo-Chien with status while the latter can tank its STAB attacks; however, both of them can’t repeatedly switch into Leech Seed and Ruination.

**Bulky Grass-types**: Amoonguss completely walls Wo-Chien thanks to its access to Synthesis and Regenerator allows Amoonguss to repeatedly switch in against Wo-Chien giving it the advantage to threaten Wo-Chien with Toxic or Sludge Bomb poison. Tsareena and Poison Heal Breloom can be major roadblocks for Wo-Chien, since Tsareena can threaten it with Knock Off and U-turn while Breloom can used it a free setup fodder. However, the former must be cautious about switching into Ruination.

[OVERVIEW]

Wo-Chien's excellent bulk, typing, and great ability gives it a unique place in NU allowing Wo-Chien to consistently handle powerful wallbreakers such as Basculegion-M, Flygon, and Barraskewda. Additionally, it can also exploit common walls like Vaporeon, Bronzong, and Galarian Slowbro. (line on how it can force some progress with its Knock Off + Leech Seed) Unfortunately, Wo-Chien's awful typing also (you said it’s excellent earlier, this is just consistency) makes it weak to many common threats such as Flamigo, (ac) Munkidori, (ac) and Chandelure while the Pokemon it was supposed to check like Flygon and Decidueye can threaten Wo-Chien by hitting back with U-turn. Wo-Chien struggles to do anything against certain walls like Amoonguss and Poison Heal Breloom due to them being immune to its Leech Seed and their access to recovery. (line on how its lack of recovery can lead to it to being passive with how it has to use Protect or Rest + Sleep Talk constantly, giving away free turns to setup sweepers, or it becomes overwhelmed by all the chip damage)
