Rules
  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week as started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Post replays. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later. They're also required.

Driftveil Dreamchasers (0) vs (0) Bell Tower Braves
SV: Floss vs Fusien
SV: Adjustments vs LBN
SV: crow crumbs vs luisin
SV: LogIce vs feen
SS: DugZa vs TJ
SM: Hacker vs Tenebricite
ORAS: Fade vs Rio Vidal
BW: Twinkay vs Jolly Togekiss

SV: Floss vs Fusien - flops wants this 10-0 bad and he will partake in any sort of cteaming, leaking, cheating, whatever it takes. Or just continue to get matchups chosen by jesus christ himself 5 days before the game happens.
SV: Adjustments vs LBN - not sure what adjusts record is i think its either positive or neutral but i think if he gets over nerves he will clutch up here.
SV: crow crumbs vs luisin - luisin is apparently 1-0 according to the most recent update of sheet so im not sure what happened and why he just started playing recently but crow crumbs has looked p solid in the games i watched. could go either way fs tho.
SV: LogIce vs feen - feen gotta back up his od levels of shittalk and similar to floss will partake in any form of selling his soul to get this win.
SS: DugZa vs TJ - Future banned user vs Past banned user. A matchup of od players to watch folks. Dugza needs to get his ego deflated but im not sure TJ is the one to do it.
SM: Hacker vs Tenebricite - I bolded tene and then checked these two records and realized that may have been the wrong call but tenegoat is surely going to clutch up here.
ORAS: Fade vs Rio Vidal - Fade had a poorish regular season but just cooked up in the tb and probably is pretty locked in especially having the big stage tour performances that maroon lacks.
BW: Twinkay vs Jolly Togekiss - Idk shit abt these two in relation to BW but um twinkay desparately needs to beat the washed allegations and finish this tour out positive. However if JT brings a togekiss they will flinch smnth and felines will tilt

NGL apparently i only picked two for the braves and this shit does not look very close but who knows! Good luck to both teams

Completely raw, honest, and of course unbias predictions. No offense as always, Sneak diss challenge failed again.

Floss vs fusien
Im my last post, I gave floss his flowers for an impressive campaign in the builder, and record wise. That was before I checked his tournament schedule 5 minutes ago, might as well have gotten 9 ladder games at 1400s and it would match. 9 wins is STILL 9 wins though can't take that away, he has been on point. Fusien has less games, and somehow has a better schedule, but has also lost to floss in regular season. I don't think that will change, but he will put up a fight. Think floss will get the 10-0.

adjustments vs LBN
Both similar schedules, and both are either even or slightly positive. I don't think adjustments is a huge hurdle but he for sure cares more and is more accomplished results wise. I haven't liked LBNs games too much, but wouldn'tbe surprised if he turns it up for finals. Personally anyones game.

crow crumbs vs luisin
the grace of god was with crumbs a week ago, when they were supposed to lose the tournamentfor their team but the opponent felt generous enough to donate. Outside of that the games have been okay, nothing crazy but worth it for 3k. Luisin legit has only played 1 game, cant go off that.

LogIce vs feen
This match up gives the vibes of the first 2 above. I Know logice is decent, I personally just dont favor him much over feen who's been playing this more often for years. Also think feens a player with a bit more experienceon the big stage in and outside of monotype. Still anyones game regardless of prediction just the safe pick.

DugZa vs TJ
After getting packed by "the jerk" thats definitely worse than the mainers 2 tours in a row, dugza returns to finals since 2023 mwp(3rd times a charm). His record this tour however does not match his previous tournaments(or his mouth), despite being the 3rd best on the team. Regardless of that, i bet he cares more and is motivated, still in decent form too. Tj off an unban seems to be in great form, with a 5-2 record. I do think he's better than dugza all around, but sticks to cookie cutter concepts that Dugza def exploits often. Giving it to tj because of game quality, but after that tiebreak game its really hard to predict against dugza.
Screenshot_20250706_150013_Discord.jpg
Edit: I have been informed sheets not updated and that he is 6-3, still keeping my predict.

Hacker vs Tenebricite
I know hacker is 5-2 but he also played drizzle, which actually subtracts from your record for even wasting time so its more like 4-2. Tene has been ass not gonna cap. I also think hacker has better sm support clearly in dugzi and friends. Think this is a 1 off performance from tene who usually does well. Think for finals he will turn it around, my first upset.

Fade vs Rio Vidal
Still think the teams are ass, not even a bit. Seriously, oras is not that hard use the good stuff how have you played all season and not used 1 S rank type. Hes better than maroon though, although I'm 100% sure maroons team is going to be more viable if the trend follows correctly.

Twinkay vs Jolly Togekiss
Twinkay doesn't play this tier, he has no idea whats going on. Jolly togekiss plays this tier alot, he also has no idea whats going on. From what Ive seen, JT has been too sloppy to bold him especially in finals and Twinkay in my eyes is generally a decent player.

Imo there's no way chasers lose this tour based on the skill of both teams. Braves however, would be more humble winners which isn't that important, but relevant. Should be some mostly terrible games from both sides, but some good 1s.

It's a running joke at this point that I cannot win a tournament. I have not won a tour as a manager across all of Smogon since MWP 4 with mushamu and adjustments. That tour to this day is still the most memorable experience for me not because of the fact that we won, but because of how much fun we had. That being said, while winning MPL may not be so serious to warrant all this yap that is upcoming, this win was very much needed for me.

These past 2 months have been so fun. Like MWP 4, this tour felt less like a "Tournament" and just like friends shooting the shit. We had some intense moments but aside from that I enjoyed myself more than I would in most team tours nowadays. Going into this I told myself this would be the last Monotype tournament I manage. After each auction in any tournament, I take a step back and think to myself "if I wasn't on this team, would I think this is a winning team?". More often than not, I find myself drafting good teams. I knew we could take it home. Though, to those who know me know that I am currently on a 3 year loss-streak when it comes to tournaments. Recently losing back-to-back PU team tournament finals as well as losing NDWC finals after being up 4-0 in finals. Those have been incredibly demoralizing losses for me and had we lost this finals my drive for the game would have vanished 100%.

Shoutouts first before I yap more about my personal feelings. (In order of sheet)

Floss Insane fucking record dude. We've never teamed before and I didn't really expect to get you this tour, but man am I glad I did. Wish we could've seen the 9-0 or whatever the hell it would have been but there's not much more I can say. You picked a team on a Monday, loaded it up 6 days later, and won. I remember being pushy in the beginning of the tour but once I realized you were the goat I took a very much needed step back and let you cook and cook you fucking did. I hope you can feel proud of this victory and I'm sure you do.

Hacker I'm so very glad we met last PUPL. You have been a great friend to me, and I'm glad that we bounce off each other personality wise so well. Everytime you linked your games, I wasn't worried in the slightest. I hope you enjoyed your first (and last probably) time playing Monotype. I can't say much more because you know how much I appreciate our friendship and you were pretty chill in team cord.

DugZa YOU are WELCOME. For your first MPL win and your first MPL with more than 5 wins. All credit goes to me of course! Jokes aside, you've been a wonderful teammate for the past few tours that we've been together and I'm very very glad we could finally clutch up a win after going 0-2 for finals together lol. You're one of the funniest people in the community and I'm glad I could bring the FlugZa core to a #win! Thank you for putting in effort and giving input when necessary, not to mention your TB clutch up. Congrats on PU slam too!

adjustments Despite you giving me a heart attack every fucking game, I'm so happy we won this together. Since MWP 4 I've been waiting for us to team again. We came short in MPL 8 by 1 game (to qualify for playoffs) and we lost MFPL finals last year as well. Our goal of shifting our MFPL franchise to an MPL one was something I didn't see happening tbh, and it almost didn't. Thank god it fucking did. Love you man, enjoy your break from the game.

twinkay Everyone thought I was snaking you....but ouu they were wrong. Though, genuinely, I am sorry about that. I knew that no matter what happened I had to get you not even to avoid snaking but I recognize you as a good player and someone who has a great mind for this tier. Your versatility in Monotype is no doubt what saved our entire season, and I'm glad you joined us for this ride. Not to mention, you made our team cord funny af :3

crow crumbs Your talent for this game is so apparent. I usually tend to recognize 1v1ers (I know you quit.) as great preppers, especially if they touch Monotype, so I wanted to get you here because I know you have a good mind for this game. Even after watching you pick up random fucking tiers like DOU and UMs I knew you would be fantastic at Monotype. Even by Week 1 you were already hopping in the builder and beating my ass in test games. You are also someone I can consider my best friend on this site, and after losing UMPL finals I was desperate for us to team and win together because you deserve some recognition for the way you approach this game.

Dusk My BW warrior. At the end of the draft, I realized I fucked up and didn't really get a BW player. I remembered you from when we teamed in ADPL and figured there was no harm in picking you up. You loaded up whatever we wanted and fucking destroyed man. Don't feel bad about the losses, you won some good games and loss some unfortunate ones when RNG wasn't very kind to you. Thank you for all the effort you put in and enjoy the win.

LogIce LOGAN MOTHER FUCKING ICICLE. YOU being the last W for this tour is so fucking funny man. It's actually crazy we almost didn't meet cuz [redacted] didn't want you on our NDWC team and I had to fight for you to get on there. Yes, you were a "nepo" buy, but cheap pilots are the way to win Monotype tournaments. What better way to prove that than to win the last game of the tournament.

fade Sorry to tag you again after DMing, I know you weren't a fan of this tour after we kept handing you some dogshit matchups, but thank you for sticking along and playing when we needed you most. You clutched up and thats all that matters. It's probably not that deep to you, but us winning this tour after we were supposed to manage years ago and didn't (cuz I'm lame) is weirdly symbolic to me. I'm glad we reconnected and honestly your Monotype track record is absurd. You're the #goat

seth Well so, your only game was us handing you a bad matchup ummm...awkward! I got you because I thought you would be a good pilot in a pinch if we needed you, and you have a great chat presence. Hopefully we can team up in a tier you're more experienced in and claim a win there too. But for now, enjoy the custy wusty.

adjustments mushamu (IDK WHY IT WONT LET ME TAG YOU) I cannot believe we won this tour man. It all started with them announcing 3 managers and me texting Shamu on iMessage to run this shit up and we did. You guys are really my day 1s and I guess us 3 together is just too fucking powerful for this tier. <3. Mushamu, much like adjustments (typing this here since he got his own shout out) thank you for sticking with me as a friend for all these years and the memories we've made together will always stick to me. Especially that vodka :yum:. You have helped me grow as a player and manager and I wouldn't be here without you for sure. Much love.

More yapperoni pizza:

This is the last ring I needed to collect. I am glad to say I think I can safely retire from managing Monotype tournaments without any complaints, I've done what I've sought out to do.

I want to shoutout Isza as whenever I've managed Mono tours since I've come back, the only times I start sweating is when I'm playing versus your teams. I never feel this way really ever. I have immense respect for you as a competitor. Shoutout to the Braves as well. It wasn't a totally clean series, and Mat+JT's track records as managers is very impressive, despite my personal spats with Mat I have to give him credits where it's due. Ethereal also managing his first tour to a finals is nothing to scoff at either.

I want to also give thanks to Attribute for basically teaching me how to L2P and for changing my approach to this game as a player. Letting me bug you about the game and building etc. without making me feel like an annoyance about it has been so so kind of you. Not to mention probably top 3 funniest people on this website and I'm very glad you're someone I can call a good friend of mine. Quick mention to boomp and Scarfire. I love you both and enjoy both of your retirements.

That being said, I feel otherwise the Monotype community has become a little less compassionate and respectful / has fallen off. This is probably me just being salty, but last year during the PRs wrote me off as no one notable when they did the Zoroark right ups. I've managed MWP to a win, won WCOP as a 3-0 player, and qualified for cup last year off of only 3 cups (though I got SMASHED by Tenebricite in R1 playoffs lol), and just won MPL. Not sure what else I can do to become more notable within the community. That being said, I would like to continue playing Monotype tournaments as a player to "prove myself" (intrinsically at least), but I'm so satisfied with this win I don't know how much I care anymore.

Anyway, enough from me. Thanks yall for having me

Well, I just wanna congratulate the Driftveil Dreamchasers for winning this MPL! You guys rocked this year! It’s clear you deserve this win! Good games and well played!

Moreso I’d like to wholeheratedly thank Jolly Togekiss, Mateeus and Etherial Sword for letting me join their splendid Bell Bravers team in this MPL! Thanks to you guys and my wonderful teammates, I had learned some things and had lots of fun and adrenaline watching your games! Although we lost (a hard loss), we shouldn't be hard on ourserves, rather enjoy how much fun we had, the things we learned and how far we got. Even if that’s a loss for us, getting ourselves here is no easy feat, let me tell you that. Keep trying and eventually you’ll succeed!

Well, that's it for me! Overall, it was very fun to take part in this MPL, even though I didn't do that much! It was a journey full of entertainment, fun and adrenaline which I hope I’ll take part in the future!

:Zamazenta: Thanks for having me! Take care everyone! :Zamazenta:

holy moly we actually won LOL. GGs to the braves this was a pretty fuckin crazy series. hex pretty much covered all that other stuff i wanted to say about our team as a whole, but also peep my mono interview with royal a few weeks back for my perspective on some of this stuff too. i really do think the key to winning these things is just being in an environment where you can f around and have fun. we just happened to draft a lot of REALLY good players who also enjoyed f-ing around and having fun.
our MFPL team was able to come charging back after being down 3-1 multiple times last year and having that be the final storyline of this team this year is poetic to me, with the cherry on top being the finals win that that team didn't get.

hex mushamu you already know how much i love you both (already did the lovey dovey stuff in my mono interview a few weeks ago- go peep that), i need not say too much here. its so fantastic to finally team up again and get another ring with my besties though. this all started with a simple dm from hex... but if we ever meet up IRL you both can slap me for playing like a total dingus this tour, i definitely deserve it LMAO.

Floss sooooo happy we FINALLY got to team again. you're such a baller player, ever since we first teamed i was waiting to get a chance to work with you again and we made it happen. really happy with how your tour went as well. we both got redemption for mpl 6 AND you have back to back rings LFG. the 10-0 didn't happen but 9-1 is beyond insane and i won't let anyone forget that you were 9-0 until finals.

now for the rest of rhyps gang DugZa twinkay im beyond pleased with both of your performances, enjoy this victory, you both deserve it so so much. glad we got this ring together and i will back all of your sneaky trash talk for the rest of time

fade mad cool teaming with you, thanks for bearing with us all season and it was great that you got your wins when they mattered most. sorry for the other stuff that could have gone a bit better though. hope to see u around again at some point goat!

crow crumbs LogIce THE CLUTCHERS. you both are SUPER fire at this game and i would buy you both again in EVERY universe. super fun to hang and mess around with too, down 2 stay in touch maybe? good luck in your future monotype endeavors though!!

Hacker hex made a good call when she said to get you for SM, as i previously hadn't really known you. we definitely could have gotten you better matchups in playoffs tho LMFAO but either way you're great at the game and managed to get the hang of mono real quick. lets go win SMPL now!

Dusk thanks for taking the time to get your games done, i am not going to discredit the fact you got some pretty sick wins for us. being able to step in and get BW mono wins against some of the best is pretty dang cool. but i do know what it feels like to play bad games and be in a bad mental state, but just know you were a great player for us and at your best you can be at the top of the world.

seth sorry for pulling you an ass MU but you were a fun presence in chat. OHHH custy wusty means custom i didnt realize that until typing this now. but yeah enjoy it!!

as for myself, i can wholeheartedly say i did NOT play that well this tour, despite finishing positive. if i actually thought through some of my games my record would be much much better than it is. something just felt off in my brain after my seasonal run, i don't really know what happened to me but i do know taking a small break from the game will fix it, so that's what i plan on doing. i have a shit ton of circuit points so i'll probably be back for those playoffs or maybe a little before then. not sure what my managerial future holds, but i do kinda sorta owe the treeckos something so maybe my next go around as a manager will be a redemption arc for them as they are also special to me- way too early to say if anything like that will actually happen though.

either way i had a lot of fun this tour, i definitely appreciate SV a little bit more than before. there are a lot of cool things you can do on many different types and i finally got to explore what i wanted and had a lot of fun in the process collaborating with my teammates. i heard rumors of a manager interview so stay tuned for that on more of the team environment/prep stuff. peace for now though and GGs again.

I almost didn't sign up this year, but I decided to do it on the last day because I didn't want to miss an MPL for the first time ever, and I'm so glad I did; this was a great experience, and the team was super fun. Despite playing Monotype for years, this is my first MPL win ever and the first time I've gotten more than 5 wins in any mono team tour, so this is a very special win for me. Shout-out to the managers for being great and maintaining good vibes on top of drafting a very very solid lineup, and to the rest of the team for being amazing. Coming back from two deficits in both semis and finals, especially in finals from 1-3 to 5-3 and winning the whole tour is sheist. Finally won a tour teaming with hex after losing in finals multiple times, thank fuck the curse is broken. Shout-out Isza for the motivation .

I'd like to begin this post with mentioning hex since you were the one who decided to do DM me over iMessages of all places to manage in this tournament. It was afternoon and I was doing laundry for college when I saw a notification from you and was like "what could this possibly be about??". You're probably the only person who can bring me back from the retirement home and manage one last tournament together; if there's anything I wanted to do that I didn't get to finish before leaving competitive Pokemon it was to win MPL with people who I consider close friends on the website. I don't know how you did it; I'm honestly shocked that you decided to win the tournament by bringing back a washed player from 2 years ago and drafting a bunch of friends. But if anyone can do it, it's you, I hope you will have a good time managing other tournaments and Smogon stuff in general since you have accomplished winning MPL at last. I am glad to share this ring with you and adjustments since it felt just right to do ever since our MWP win.

(logs from hex and I's DMS)

To be honest I was not originally going to manage this tournament even after adjustments posted the signup post with my name on it. Some stuff had come up in real life, and I didn't want to burden the team by being a dead manager slot. However, I think the forum mods were too lazy to remove my name from the list so I ended up managing anyways (or I don't even know what happened LOL), but I'm glad that happened. It means a lot to me to help hex and adjustments win a MPL ring at last, especially given hex talking about not having a lot of time in the future to manage anymore (that was the kicker that made me agree to it). To the Braves who we faced in finals and to the other teams, well played. To the rest of my team, this is a win that we all deserve and it's great that we are able to share it. There were times when some of us woke up and rolled our eyes at the teams that we were bringing and brought, there were times when we didn't feel like prepping or were demotivated, there were times when we didn't want to play our games anymore thanks to the volatile nature of Pokemon. There were even many times when we admittedly butted heads over prep or play. But the fact that we kept on putting the work in and at the end of the day kept on coming back together as a team makes the ring so much more worth it. We worked with each other despite our differences and helped each other cover our strengths and weaknesses as players to finally pull edge off a 5-3 win in finals at the end. Well done to all of you, wear the banner with pride- this is our win and we would not have been able to do it without any of you. Good luck on your future endeavors!

Here are shoutouts to the guys that stuck through it thick and thin to make this win possible. These guys made the experience fun as hell by livening up the team chat, building teams, scouting replays, playing games, going over interactions, and helping one another. This has to be the most unique set of people that I've teamed with which made it all the more interesting. Personally, there were a lot of times where I'd build teams on the toilet, wake up early to build teams or to help someone prep before their game, manually build teams by typing in pastes, but through the blood sweat and tears I do not regret any of it. This entire tournament was fun as hell for me and I hope it was for you guys too even though I wasn't as active as I wanted to be in the first few weeks.

Floss DugZa You two have a ton of synergy as players and as people. I've always joked about how the "Flugza brothers" are inseparable but there is some truth to that- you guys do work extremely well together. Both of you won your games with consistency and put up stellar records (congrats Floss on the incredible 9-1 and DugZa for >5 wins), clinched our tiebreak against the Meloettas, and were extremely active in the team chat. You guys are Monotype veterans at this point and I'm glad to have finally teamed with you. I guess the former Monotype TL core pulled through after all and winning felt like child's play when it came to you two being slotted in.

twinkay I know we have butted heads in the past but I'm glad to have worked with you in this tournament. You are a versatile player that has only gotten better these past few years. Congratulations on the record and for making the team chat a blast to talk in, your voice notes and larping made logging into the team Discord really funny. It's honestly really surprising how you only went for 7k, you should be worth much more than that for sure.

fade I am sorry for essentially feeding you garbage in ORAS but I hope you had at least a little bit of fun. Thank you for putting effort and playing your games even if you didn't want to.

crow crumbs LogIce You two are not familiar with Monotype at all but the fact that you guys were both able to hop into the tier and start winning games is impressive. Both of you were incredibly motivated throughout the entire tournament to contribute and it was really nice to see. You both spent a lot of time prepping, building, going over interactions and it was crucial to our win. I feel like I could feel how badly crow crumbs wanted to win the tournament, and on the other hand when Dusk was tilted I instantly brought up putting LogIce in the lineup because I was like yeah, this dude is motivated and wants to win. And win you did. Finishing off the tournament with a pretty much perfectly played game against feen is such a power play I'm not gonna lie, very well done. I have not interacted with either of you before this tournament but teaming with both of you was a pleasure. Speaking of crow crumbs, the game you played for semifinals was extremely clutch and I thought it was definitely over until you weaved a winpath with Dragapult, and I went ballistic when you won the 5050 and brought us to a tiebreak. If you hadn't done that, we wouldn't have won at all. Very well done to both of you.

Hacker Monotype isn't usually within your hitrange as a player but you did a great job picking up SM Monotype fast and piloting the teams to a great record. When hex brought you up in the manager channel I was down to get you and looking back I do not regret it at all. Thank you for playing.

Dusk Thank you for putting in the effort to win your games despite not being on Discord much you still understood how the teams were played thanks to a high ceiling. Your game against Gondra absolutely caught me off guard with your ceiling and I was really impressed. As for the tilt, it happens to all of us. If you do continue to play Pokemon, know that you are a good player and that bad tournaments happen to all of us. Sometimes we have to take a break from this game to focus on other things in life in order to come back stronger. I am glad to be part of the team that got you your first tournament win as well, very well deserved.

seth It sucks that we didn't get to start you through the tournament but thanks for being active in the Discord nonetheless with a funny chat presence and subbing in on a whim for jon in ORAS. Thank you for playing and I swear I only thought you were sealoo because I am chronically off Smogon. :row:
To the helpers who came in clutch for our playoffs:
Attribute Jojo8868 Thank you guys for coming in and helping throughout playoffs. To Attribute, I meme about this a lot as a friend but it's truly amazing to see how far you have come as a player and how you are probably close to getting your first trophy now. From the old league days in AB to now, your progression and growth is remarkable and I can see you becoming one of the best players on the website someday if not right now. Thank you for helping with BW even though you didn't sign up for the tournament due to interests elsewhere. To Jojo, it's great to see you around again. I'm glad to see you doing well and still play Pokemon. Both of you guys are some of the funniest motherfuckers on the website and I'm glad to call you two my fellow Westicles.
To my managers hex and adjustments who I couldn't have done this without:
Sure! Here's a shoutout post with a fun and appreciative tone, including the roast and banter you asked for:

Huge shoutout to my two amazing managers for making this season an absolute blast.

[Manager 1], thanks for managing with me and being a consistent rock throughout the tour. That said, I still can’t believe you sacked your wincon in your finals game like it was a casual ladder match. Peak comedy, 10/10, would manage with again.

[Manager 2], appreciate you going out of your way to text me and convince me to play comp Pokémon again — guess your recruiting strat worked after all. Still mad about it, but it ended up being a great decision. This season was genuinely fun, and it wouldn't have been the same without you two.

Grateful for the experience and the memories. Looking forward to more in the future

Let me know if you want to include usernames, team name, emojis, or anything else!

hex Nah. NAH. NAHHHHH. No fucking way we won this shit LMAO. It still feels so unreal. First thing I knew I was agreeing to my first competitive Pokemon tournament in two years and the next thing we took the entire show. That's just fucking insane. Like actually. It was fucking amazing how determined you were to win this tournament and I'm glad you asked me to manage even though I hadn't been on Smogon in months. Like I said before, you're probably the only user on this entire site who could make me sign up to manage, whip out the builder and damage calculator again and run this shit back like the first time. Thank you for being my friend all these years and essentially telling me to chill the fuck out when I'm having an anxiety moment and good luck in your future Smogon endeavors too. It was nice to shoot the shit and play Pokemon again after all these years one last time, and I'm glad you reached out. I still think about you when I see water bottles sometimes. You have made an irreparable mark on my life.

adjustments Holy fuck bro if there was anyone who told me that we would still be playing this shit after 7 years I would tell them they're insane. But here we are, 7 years later after first being introduced to being gym leaders on a Pokemon website with both of our first MPL ring. But as crazy as it sounds, I'm glad that it did happen. When we first started playing this game we were two dumbass 14/15 year olds who fooled around in the Monotype room and on side servers and were incredibly immature so it feels kind of nostalgic to take the tournament with you of all people. Even though I will forever joke about that Tornadus-T sack, you have improved as a player recently (congratulations on the seasonals run) and enjoy your break. Sometimes we can maybe run overwatch together like the old days bro.

To both of you, thank you for being my co-managers throughout this tournament. There is really no one else I would want to do it with. Even though none of us are perfect, we work as a team well. For example hex is good with knowing people and drafting and I'm good with teambuilding and metagame knowledge as well as playing, while adjustments is more level headed when hex and I are stressing out about random shit. It was incredible having these small victories and losses as a team until we kept on going and finally won the whole thing. You guys have been my day 1s ever since Spirits and I'm thankful that we have stuck together all these time. It also gets me a bit emotional because we were barely adults when we did MWP together and now we're all slowly growing up. You guys are fire and make my time on this website extremely enjoyable. I had the silliest goofiest stupidest grin when our banner finally got on our profile and I just stared at it for like 2 hours, I hope you guys did too. Wow, we really fucking did it at last. Fucking incredible how all the hard work paid off.

To the rest of the Monotype community, it was nice seeing you after all these years. I am going to go back to doing other things in life but it is good to know you guys are doing well.

Mushaminator out.

I've had teamtours where I had cleaner games/a greater impact on the teams success (in mickier formats womp womp) and tours where I really got to know some of my best ever internet friends (which isn't to say yall weren't great!!). However, I've never had a tour where I'd get pinged to open a pokepaste with 9 different edits for my team organized in a legit unimportable manner with the occasional bullshit like this sprinkled in

This kind of manic process was rly contagious and exciting to be a part of and honestly took me back to my first teamtour 4 years ago now when I was drafted by crucify and LRXC. For that, I'll remember this tour for a long ass time. Loved teaming with you mushamu and wishing you the best in your future endeavors <3
