Rules
  • Follow all rules listed here.​
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
  • Substitutions may be made after a week as started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
  • Post replays. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later. They're also required.​

SV: Leafium Z vs Fraolain - favoring frol1 here just a little bit, should be a highlight sv match though, closest to a tossup as it gets
SV: Azick vs Dieu Amphibien - another highlight sv, but azick is on a generational run rn besides that really wack endgame last week, very hard to bold against
SV: Stories vs LoSconosciuto - toss up match, both players have played well and have consistently brought good builds
SV: Ineros vs Tuff Tuff - the more experienced SVer will take it here
SS: dunoks vs maki - he won't get lucked this week I PROMISE
SM: Dj Breloominati♬ vs terrors - both of these guys have played great so far, highlight SM of the week for sure, im taking terrors on a 51/49 kinda vibe
ORAS: Uta The Clown vs Jojo8868 - jojo is the better player here, but may struggle a little bit against a cell build
BW: Cow vs DAHLI - a good BW match, another 51/49 kinda vibe for cow

SV: QWILY vs Gondra - gondra in sv? that's a surprise for sure, qwily has played very well the past 2 weeks so i think he will win this one
SV: RoFnA vs Xiri - another swap made for the gholds, i think xiri is a little more comfortable here since he won't have to worry about being passed 6 year old teams
SV: Cielau vs schwipper - i hate bolding against cielau but i gotta take my boy schwipper in his return game after dealing with a lot IRL. his strength is coming back to him this week and he will show it off here
SV: Masskeau vs Elvira - the french secret weapon is gonna win this. this guys consistency always goes under the radar.
SS: Master Chief vs Rinda - i feel like everyone on the melos knows rinda too well and will have the perfect concoction whipped up to beat him
SM: Toadow vs Iggy96 - im gonna take iggy in an upset here, he caught me by surprise when i had to play him a while back, a true sleeper
ORAS: dawnmidst vs zIcarus - i think dawnmidst is a boomer too like icarus, but icarus is more in tune with oras rn
BW: Gelbel3c vs nomadderwhat - arvada is gonna have to scrape off the rust to cop a dub for his team here, gelbel is really good

SV: RoyalReloaded vs LBN - i think if royal gets his prep down and has a good mindset going into this game he'll take it, free jackuzzler btw...
SV: Sificon vs Fusien - i honestly have liked this dude's teams this tour so far, gapdos flying -> noivern dragon... what will he cook next?
SV: yedla vs Rio Vidal - this one is close to being a tossup ngl, 2 mainers clashing head to head is always fun to watch, if i absolutely had to pick id take maroon tho
SV: Wincon vs feen - boomer battle, feen is more active and has been around sv longer though
SS: Shiba vs TJ - i already said he's winning all his games except week 5
SM: drizzle vs Tenebricite - dude's videos are pretty good, you should check them out, hopefully he lands a better matchup this week, last was not it at all
ORAS: Vid vs CyberOdin✝ - no contacted post yet.. interesting..
BW: crash vs Jolly Togekiss - crashy should be fine here if he watches out for that namesake of JT's...

yall thought!!!!!!!!!! i was originally supposed to do w1 but i forgot. i was also supposed to do w2 but.. yeah ngl i didn't want to. ive watched a decent amount of games but im not exactly sure of what the records look like (im not gonna check either), so im gonna base everything off of what i know so far

Straw Hatterenes (3) vs (5) Balding Baltoys
SV: Leafium Z vs Fraolain - i have not watched a leafium game this tour. i have no idea what his record is! for the sake of this writeup, im gonna hope he's 0-2 so i can say that leafium will regress this tour. if he is 2-0, then well he'll finish 2-5 or 3-4 or some shit. frol prob wants to beat this guy... so it will probably happen?! typically tho i think this group of ppl are more ahead of the sv meta than others. scarfire support is there, but i think he got his ass blasted in the prep department in mwp? idk i think all signs point to frol winning here from a prep diff + potential ingame skill diff standpoint
SV: Azick vs Dieu Amphibien - azick won ssnl so that probably counts for something here right? in better form and all? last time i saw dieu was in mwp where he was kind of getting smoked but i don't remember too well, so. im pretty sure azicks form is better here anyway and maybe azick + scarfire can cook up some reasonable match up
SV: Stories vs LoSconosciuto - ngl this loscono guy is heat... not much else to say
SV: Ineros vs Tuff Tuff - unfamiliar with these two, but tufftuff is in mono cup poffs tb rn so... yeah that's all i got
SS: dunoks vs maki - dunoks is SHEISTTTTTTTTT that's the second most underrated player of the tour... i know maki is 0-2 and is probably tilted. tilt tends to affect his gameplay, don't think its gonna get any better here
SM: Dj Breloominati♬ vs terrors - lucky + good ingame qualities. probably one of the better players in the tour, but can probably be owned in prep.
ORAS: Uta The Clown vs Jojo8868 - my glorious goat is gonna finish with 8 wins. realistically tho jojo is in heat form rn and i like how his games go most of the time even tho when monotype team tours roll around he bangs his head against a chalkboard before every game and the only thing he remembers is "must. get. them. up." that's goat tho and i expect nothing but greatness from him here.
BW: Cow vs DAHLI - dahli in bw is a cook and i respect management for making this decision. if i were to rank the bw pool, id probably say fuck it and rank him first. hardly any information about him in bw out there compared to the rest of the pool -> information war in his favor. on top of that, i just think he's the best player in the pool. cow is no slouch but yeah i just like dahli more in general. cool mu tho

SV: Larry vs Floss - floss is the best player in the pool. heard he did some bs last week tho but i genuinely don't know what it was. to not ruin my perception of him tho, i am not going to watch it. peak larry in mono was cool and all but we're kind of past that i feel and floss is performing at a career high i think
SV: Tarre25 vs adjustments - happened, idk what id have picked tho
SV: clean vs twinkay - clean my boy but he gets trashed in these tours im NGL... expect a clean (lol!) win for SLAYLINES.
SV: avarice vs crow crumbs - ava wanted to sv and is in sv. i expect them to actually do well + they've been doing well in mono in recent times anyway
SS: One Last Kiss vs DugZa - happened, would have picked dugza tho
SM: Splash vs Hacker - hacker gained aura from the lolol'ing last week and i like him as a player. i only watched the w2 game but i think w1 was unwinnable? idr. splash is fine but like surely the motivation isn't there right
ORAS: Foolycl vs fade - i like how jon plays. fooly is good tho so should be a fun one
BW: Sabella vs Dusk - he's too historically good in this tier, quite obligated to bold him most weeks especially against someone who's playing this for the first time

Melemele Meloettas (5) vs (3) Game Corner Gholdengos
SV: QWILY vs Gondra - im a qwily fan but gondra is actually really good at all the mono gens. dunno the records but id imagine both get 5 wins this season at least. not a stomp ofc, qwily is still really good but yeah gondra is just him
SV: RoFnA vs Xiri - idk what to write here but i trust the "vet" more i guess
SV: Cielau vs schwipper - i wanna assume both haven't been too hot recently so im gonna go with the larger body of work from cielau and imagine he's more in form rn
SV: Masskeau vs Elvira - masskeau is the most underrated player in the tour. he did great things last mpl and i expect a great tour from them. elvira prob motivated but idt its enough here
SS: Master Chief vs Rinda - prep diff probably? i only watched 1 rinda game this tour and 0 mchief games but the former looked fine in that iirc. imo an issue rinda tends to have is overthinking. in nearly every game you see him play his timer is always at like 10 seconds or something. while that can be a sign that he's thinking things through which is theoretically a good thing, the things that are being thought through have to have some relevance. basically, i do think he's a bit of an overthinker and i get the impression that he thinks about irrelevant things during a game. how do you correct this? click faster. he shows good traits and i think once he overcomes the whole overthinking thing he can do great things
SM: Toadow vs Iggy96 - toadow is usually pretty good when he plays. altho i guess a bad habit i see from him is the lack of odds management and tends to just do things he doesn't need to do. can always be corrected tho. he's still solid, i think he'll do well this tour
ORAS: dawnmidst vs zIcarus - this matchup could have happened in a league vs league in 2017. im not entirely sure who to predict here. in fact, i didn't even know dawnmidst still plays pokemon. ill assume he's heat tho cause the name has aura
BW: Gelbel3c vs nomadderwhat - out of all the gelbel games ive watched (not monothreat) ive liked how he played in nearly all of them. i think he's pretty strong, and is one of those doesn't make many mistakes type guys, which can get you pretty far. i expect nothing different here

SV: RoyalReloaded vs LBN - i think lbn won a ssnl right? should be in pretty good form. if he didn't then.. my bad.
SV: Sificon vs Fusien - sificon shows bits and pieces of promise but can struggle in endgames from what i remember. i didn't watch fusiens game last week but he took down azick who just won ssnl (his second btw. you're welcome for saying this). from that i assume he knows what he's doing
SV: yedla vs Rio Vidal - im still a yedla believer and will blindly do so. i have no idea how he has been doing in the last 3 tours but i think the talents there and he needs to just.. lock in..? i feel like he's in the same boat as rinda; kinda just thinks about things that aren't relevant to the current gamestate in a given game, but probably less so in the sense that he clicks faster more often than his french counterpart. this can be corrected of course, and, just like rinda, if his were to be improved upon, we can see the reign of peak yedla in tours
SV: Wincon vs feen - feen got better ngl... probably favor him here off the premise i know wincon is 0-2. i don't really know what happened in those 2 games but yeah, feen prob in better form rn
SS: Shiba vs TJ - likes this tier somehow. goes a long way, historically solid here, etc
SM: drizzle vs Tenebricite - tene p good in sm
ORAS: Vid vs CyberOdin✝ - idk how either are doing but odin's good. think i like vid more tho? odin has oras mono being a pretty "new" tier going for him, so no1 is that much ahead of anybody
BW: crash vs Jolly Togekiss - jt's toge put the hands on a fighting team. however, i am willing to bet that toge's nature wasn't jolly, so idgaf. win voided. crash (where the fuck did the y go) maneuvered a water/ground game quite well w1. favoring who i think is the better player + builder.
