[OVERVIEW]

Bellibolt bounces its way into RU as a good defensive Pokemon in the tier, taking on powerful threats such as Galarian Zapdos and Bisharp. Bellibolt's moveset is very flexible, letting it aid its team in a variety of ways. Unlike other walls, Bellibolt can cripple switch-ins with Static, keep up momentum with Volt Switch, simultaneously damage opponents while healing with Parabolic Charge, and force out Pokemon that would usually beat it such as Ground-types like Hippowdon with Muddy Water. Static is a great ability on Bellibolt to punish physical attackers and the many U-turns in the tier. Bellibolt's main issue is that it struggles against bulky Steel-types such as Magnezone and Hisuian Goodra, as they can easily tank its hits and make progress against it. Despite it having options against them, Ground-types are also a pain for Bellibolt, as if they can get in against it, they can do large damage with Earthquake and threaten it out. Bellibolt can also be overwhelmed by strong neutral attacks such as Galarian Zapdos's Close Combat and Bisharp's Throat Chop, as its typing doesn't give it many resistances.

Volt Switch can do solid damage to foes while pivoting Bellibolt out, whereas Parabolic Charge can help Bellibolt stay healthy, especially in combination with Electromorphosis to boost its power. Muddy Water can hit the Ground-types that can switch into its Electric-type moves such as Hippowdon, Krookodile, and Rhyperior. Soak allows Bellibolt to threaten switch-ins with massive damage from its Electric-type moves, allow it to badly poison Steel- and Poison-types that would usually be immune to it such as Hisuian Goodra and Fezandipiti, and reduce the damage of STAB attacks such as Earthquake from Krookodile and Close Combat from Slither Wing. Toxic allows Bellibolt to threaten specially defensive switch-ins such as Umbreon and Wo-Chien that would otherwise not care too much about its attacks. Heavy-Duty Boots allows Bellibolt to ignore entry hazards to take on threats more easily. Rocky Helmet allows Bellibolt to accrue chip damage against the many U-turn users in the tier such as Talonflame, Jirachi, and Galarian Zapdos. Static can punish contact attempts from physical attackers such as Galarian Zapdos and Slither Wing by inflicting them with paralysis. Electromorphosis can turn Bellibolt into quite a dangerous attacker that can deal impressive damage to opponents with its Electric-type moves. It pairs especially well with Parabolic Charge, as it can not only deal more damage, but also increase the amount of HP Bellibolt recovers. 20 Speed EVs allow Bellibolt to outspeed Hippowdon, allowing it to use Toxic, Muddy Water, or Slack Off before it attacks. Tera Water boosts the power of Bellibolt's Muddy Water while removing its weakness to Ground and giving it a solid defensive typing. Tera Fairy gives Bellibolt a Fighting resistance to help take on Pokemon such as Galarian Zapdos and Slither Wing and can help it take on Ground-types such as Krookodile and Flygon.

Bellibolt fits best on bulky offense and balance teams, where it can act as a reliable defensive piece, taking on Pokemon such as Galarian Zapdos and Slither Wing that these teams might struggle against. Ground-immune and -resistant partners such as Galarian Weezing, Slither Wing, and Chesnaught can take on the Ground-types such as Krookodile and Rhyperior that threaten Bellibolt out as well as Fighting-types such as Mienshao and Terrakion, while Bellibolt can take on the Flying-types such as Galarian Zapdos and Gyarados. U-turn users such as Slither Wing and Fezandipiti can pair well with Bellibolt to form VoltTurn cores, allowing them to wear down combined checks, such as bulky Water-types for Slither Wing and Steel-types for Fezandipiti, so that they can be finished off at low health. Water-, Fighting-, and Fire-type wallbreakers pair well with Bellibolt, as it can threaten out the bulky Water-types such as Vaporeon and Slowbro that wall them. In return, Water-type wallbreakers such as Barraskewda and Feraligatr beat Ground-types like Hippowdon, Mamoswine, and Krookodile; Fighting-type wallbreakers such as Gallade and Galarian Zapdos beat Steel-types such as Hisuian Goodra and Magnezone; and Fire-type wallbreakers such as Entei and Armarouge beat Grass- and Steel-types such as Amoonguss and Jirachi. Entry hazard control options such as Cyclizar and Talonflame pair well with Bellibolt as they can remove entry hazards that might otherwise heavily chip Bellibolt and allow Pokemon such as Galarian Zapdos and Slither Wing to 2HKO Bellibolt.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Tera Blast Fairy can be used in order to hit Dragon-types such as Cyclizar and Flygon that don't care about its attacking moves. Leftovers allows Bellibolt to passively heal off chip damage from weak attacks such as U-turn, giving it much better longevity, especially if it chooses to use Parabolic Charge. Chilling Water is an option in order to reduce the damage from opposing physical attackers attack stat while still hitting Ground-types, though it is very weak and can give a Defiant boost to either Bisharp or Galarian Zapdos if they switch in correctly.

Checks and Counters
====

**Bulky Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-types such as Assault Vest Magnezone, Registeel, and Hisuian Goodra can easily take Bellibolt's hits, not worrying about Toxic and making progress through Knock Off, Stealth Rock, or pivoting.

**Ground-types**: Although Ground-types such as Krookodile, Flygon, and Golurk cannot switch into Toxic or Muddy Water, they can switch into Bellibolt's STAB options and threaten it out with Earthquake.

**Cyclizar**: Cyclizar can easily take Bellibolt's hits, including Toxic, and use it to make progress. This can be via Rapid Spin, Knock Off, or U-turn, which lets Cyclizar get in teammates that threaten out Bellibolt like Mamoswine and Krookodile.

[OVERVIEW]

Bellibolt bounces its way into RU as a good defensive Pokemon in the tier, taking on powerful threats such as Galarian Zapdos and Bisharp. It can utilise a large array of moves, items and abilities, which allows it to slot nicely into a large variety of team structures. (the moves, items, & abilities don’t exactly cause Bellibolt to play too differently; it’s still a wall. instead, you can rework this to simply say its moveset is very flexible, letting it aid its team in whatever way it needs) It can utilise Toxic in order to cripple switch-ins, Muddy Water or Soak to force out Ground-types that may check it and Volt Switch or Parabolic Charge to deal impressive STAB damage. (i’d make this part not explicitly say the moves, since most likely you’re just going to reiterate that later. instead, you can opt for an overview like “unlike other walls, Bellibolt can cripple switch-ins, keep up momentum, simultaneously damage opponents while healing, and force out Pokemon that would normally beat it such as Ground-types like Hippowdon.) (you should add a line on how static is a great punisher to both physical attackers and the omnipresence of U-turn) Bellibolt's main issue is that it struggles against bulky Steel-types such as Magnezone and Hisuian Goodra, as they can easily tank its hits and make progress against it. Despite having options against them, Ground-types are also a pain for Bellibolt, as if they can get in against it, they can do large damage with Earthquake and threaten it out. (i would add how it can be easily overwhelmed by needing to take multiple neutral hits—like GZapdos's Close Combat—due to its typing gifting it little resistances)

Volt Switch can do solid STAB damage to opponents while pivoting Bellibolt out whereas (rc) while (clarity) Parabolic Charge can help keep Bellibolt healthy while doing solid damage, especially in combination with Electromorphosis. Muddy Water can hit the Ground-types that can switch into its Electric moves such as Hippowdon, Krookodile and Quagsire. Soak allows Bellibolt to threaten switchins with massive damage from its Electric moves, as well as also allowing it to Toxic Steel- or Poison-types that would usually not care about be immune to it such as Hisuian Goodra and Fezandipiti and reduce the damage of opponents STAB attacks such as Earthquake from Krookodile or Close Combat from Slither Wing. Toxic allows Bellibolt to threaten specially defensive switchins such as Umbreon and Wo-Chien that would otherwise not care too much about its attacks. Electromorphosis can turn Bellibolt into quite a dangerous attacker that can deal impressive damage to opponents with its Electric-type moves. 20 Speed Ev's allow Bellibolt to outspeed Hippowdon, allowing it to Toxic it, (ac) use Muddy Water, (ac) or Slack Off its damage before it attacks. Tera Water boosts the power of Bellibolt's Muddy Water, while also removing its weakness to Ground and giving it a solid defensive typing. (tera fairy is a good tera type in my opinion. it gives you a fight resistance, which is extremely helpful as Bellibolt often takes a Close Combat from GZapdos & Slither Wing, and it helps you against ground-types like krookodile & flygon.)

Bellibolt fits best on bulky offense and balance teams, where it can act as a reliable defensive piece, taking on Pokemon such as Galarian Zapdos and Slither Wing that these teams might struggle against. Flying-types such as Salamence and Talonflame (i would actually debate that our flying-types are pretty bad against the ground-types, but i see where you’re coming from. so, i’d say “Ground-immune and -resistant partners” instead of Flying-types and add on more reliable Ground-type checks like GWeezing, Slither Wing, and Chesnaught. Also, i would specify how these partners can handle Fighting-types that can overwhelm Bellibolt, too.) can take on the Ground-types that threaten Bellibolt out, while Bellibolt can take on the Electric-types such as Raikou and Oricorio-E (doing the above change means that you should add flying-types here like GZapdos). U-turn users such as Slither Wing and Fezandipiti can pair well with Bellibolt to form Volt-turn cores, allowing them to chip combined checks (what combined checks are there for both? steels work for Fezandipiti, but i’m unsure for Slither Wing. if needed, you can just say Bellibolt beats bulky Water-types that Slither Wing can struggle with.) so they can be finished off at low health. Frail offensive threats such as Hisuian Zoroark and Armarouge appreciate Bellibolt's hit (add space) taking and pivoting options, as Bellibolt can take hits aimed at them, while also pivoting into them with Volt Switch. (it’s a bit repetitive here + what is Bellibolt pivoting them in on? Magnezone is a great thing Armarouge can capitalize on that commonly switches in on Bellibolt, but what is there for HZoroark? if you can’t find one, maybe opt for something else that better takes advantage of common Bellibolt switch-ins.)

(i would add a line on Bellibolt synergizing well with Water-, Fighting-, and Fire-type wallbreakers. Bellibolt threatens pesky bulky Water-types for them like Vaporeon, Suicune, and Slowbro. In return, Water-type wallbreakers like Crawdaunt, Basculegion-F, and Barraskewda beat Ground-types like Hippowdon, Mamoswine, and Krookodile; Fire-type wallbreakers like Entei and Armarouge KO annoying Steel- and Grass-types such as Jirachi and Chesnaught for Bellibolt; and Fighting-type wallbreakers like Gallade, GZapdos, and Terrakion handle Steel-types like Hisuian Goodra and Magnezone.)

A specially defensive set can be utilised on Bellibolt in order to take on special attackers such as Volcanion and Gardevoir, but typically physical defense is better. (there will always be better special walls) Tera Blast Fairy can be used in order to hit Dragon-types such as Cyclizar and Flygon that don't care about its attacking moves. Weather Ball can be used on Rain Teams to give Bellibolt a stronger Water-type coverage move. Assault Vest allows Bellibolt to sponge special hits much better, but comes at the big downside that it can no longer use Toxic or Slack Off. (that just seems like a worse Magnezone)

Good job, add the rest of PoM's amqc (like the Fire- and Water-type teammates) alongside the above and credit both of us! :bellipog:

Implemented AMQC and QC1. I struggled to reword the frail offensive partners section, so I just removed it.

Ground-immune and -resistant partners such as Galarian Weezing, Slither Wing, and Chesnaught can take on the Ground-types such as Krookodile and Rhyperior that threaten Bellibolt out and the as well as Fighting-types such as Mieshao Mienshao and Terrakion, while Bellibolt can take on the Flying-types such as Galarian Zapdos and Gyarados. U-turn users such as Slither Wing and Fezandipiti can pair well with Bellibolt to form VoltTurn cores, allowing them to chip wear down (Just for some variety in word usage.) combined checks, (AC) such as bulky Water-types for Slither Wing and Steel-types for Fezandipti Fezandipiti, so that they can be finished off at low health. Water-, Fighting-, (AC) and Fire-type wallbreakers pair well with Bellibolt, as it can threaten out the bulky Water-types such as Vaporeon and Slowbro that wall them. In return, Water-type wallbreakers such as Barraskewda and Feraligatr beat Ground-types like Hippowdon, Mamoswine, (AC) and Krookodile, (RC); (ASC) Fighting-type wallbreakers such as Gallade and Galarian Zapdos beat Steel-types such as Hisuian Goodra and Magnezone, (RC); (ASC) and Fire-type wallbreakers such as Entei and Armarouge beat Grass- and Steel-types such as Amoonguss and Jirachi. Hazard Entry hazard control options such as Cyclizar and Talonflame pair well with Bellibolt, (AC) as they can remove entry hazards that might otherwise heavily chip Bellibolt, (RC) allowing and allow Pokemon such as Galarian Zapdos and Slither Wing to 2HKO Bellibolt.

Other Options
====

Tera Blast Fairy can be used in order to hit Dragon-types such as Cyclizar and Flygon that don't care about its attacking moves. Leftovers allows Bellibolt to passively heal off chip damage from weak attacks such as U-turn, giving it much better longevity, (AC) especially if it chooses to use Parabolic Charge. Chilling Water is an option in order to reduce the damage from opposing physical attackers attack stat by one stage (Dex info) while still hitting Ground-types, though it is very weak and can give a Defiant boost to either Bisharp or Galarian Zapdos if they switch in correctly.

Checks and Counters
====

**Bulky Steel-types**: Bulky Steel-types such as Assault Vest Magnezone, Registeel, (AC) and Hisuian Goodra can easily take Bellibolts Bellibolt's hits, not worrying about Toxic and making progress through Knock Off, Stealth Rocks Rock, (AC) or pivoting.

**Ground-types**: Although Ground-types such as Krookodile, Flygon, (AC) and Golurk cannot switch into Toxic or Muddy Water, they can switch into Bellibolt's STAB options and threaten it out with Earthquake.

**Cyclizar**: Cyclizar can easily take Bellibolt's hits, including Toxic, and use it to make progress. Whether that This can be via Rapid Spin, Knock Off, (AC) or U-turn, Cyclizar can then which lets Cyclizar get in teammates that threaten out Bellibolt like Mamoswine and Krookodile. (AP)
