[OVERVIEW]

Mr. Mime is completely outclassed in RBY UU by both Kadabra and Hypno, with the former possessing Recover, incredible Speed that lets it outspeed Tentacruel, and very high Special, and the latter acting as a centerpiece of the tier with Hypnosis and solid bulk physically and specially. Mr. Mime's only advantage over them is Thunderbolt, which hits super effective targets such as Vaporeon, Articuno, and Gyarados harder then Psychic would, but this is not enough to make Mr. Mime a good choice in RBY UU.

Psychic is Mr. Mime's main STAB move and is useful for hitting Pokemon such as Tentacruel and Poliwrath. Thunderbolt hits Gyarados for a 2HKO and 4HKOes Vaporeon. Thunder Wave is useful for spreading paralysis and supporting Pokemon on Mr. Mime's team while also potentially forcing a Pokemon to use Rest. Lastly, Seismic Toss 3HKOes Kadabra and is Mr. Mime's best option for hitting the omnipresent Hypno.
