Music box

Hello I was wondering if making a music box as a gift for my friend is a good idea.

Research has told me that it's unbelievably difficult and/or very expensive.

I had a quick look on youtube and saw a few guides on how people made music boxes of their own with a starter kit. You're right it does look difficult, but if you made me a music box with Crossing Field playing I'd marry you.
