Hey guys, my name is Delloskill and this my first ever OU team. I'm kind of new to Competitive battling and became a fan quite recently. Please tell me all the improvements I can make in my team. Thanks in advance. I went for a little bit of HO approach for this team.
Klefki @ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Thunder Wave
- Toxic
Klefki is my primary lead and it's main purpose is to set up dual screens and inflict any status Conditions before switching. The EV set is designed to Make sure Klefki can take at least 2-3 hits before fainting. Toxic is useful against stall teams and Thunder Wave is to cripple revenge killers like Mega Beedrill.
Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- Flare Blitz
- Swords Dance
- U-turn
Talonflame is Early game sweeper and can come in after the dual screens have been set up and get a Swords Dance off without taking too much damage. Flare Blitz is the the primary STAB move like other Talonflames. I opted for Acrobatics over Brave Bird since it (Usually) takes damage during the set up turn. U-Turn Is used to get out of Prediction-Check switches while managing to get off chip damage.
Serperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Calm Mind
- Synthesis
Serperior is My late game sweeper. Maximum Speed investment along with SpA helps out when setting up Leaf Storm-Contrary sweeps. HP Fire is for the occasional Ice types while synthesis is for healing of chip damage and increase longevity when burned.
Garchomp @ Garchompite
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
Garchomp is the Mid-Late game sweeper. Non Mega evolved Outrage kills everything (Aka common dragon types) especially after the maximum Speed EVs. Rock Slide is for the rare late game flying types like Staraptor and Honchcrow. Earthquake is primary Ground type STAB move and Iron head can OHKO weakened Florges after Mega evolving.
Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Poison Jab
Weavile is my Revenge killer. Knock Off does a lot of damage to Slack-Off Slowbro. Icicle Crash 2HKOs Dragonite and Ice Shard gives it nice priority for revenge killing weaked threats. Poison Jab is Get some damage of the Bulky fairy types that switch on it.
Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Ice Punch
- Play Rough
- Knock Off
My really Primary Wall breaker, Giving Azumarill Choice band makes it Attack skyrocket to 522. Aqua Jet gives it's attack priority. Ice Punch and Knock of Provide Decent Coverage and Play Rough is primary STAB Fairy type Move.
