Hello everyone, that's my first RMT thread and I want you to show the team I use in competitive battling.
let's start with the lead:
Forretress @ Shed shell
Ability: Sturdy
IVs: 0 Spe - EVs: 252 Hp / 112 Atk /144 Def
Nature: Relaxed
- Stealth rock
- Spikes
- Gyro ball
- Rapid Spin
Forretress sets up entry hazard and removes them, Gyro ball is a good response to fast taunting leads like aerodactyl and azelf, Shed Shell is because I don't want to lose my physical wall too early by a Magnezone.
Rotom-C @ Choice specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Hp /168 SpD/ 88 Spe
Nature: Calm
- Leaf Storm
- Will-o-wisp
- Trick
- Thunderbolt
Rotom-C it's the anti-rapid spinner of the party, it's ev'd to take a Starmie's surf and kill with thunderbolt on leaf storm if predicting a ground or rock type like swampert or tyrannitar switch in, and Chioce specs helps to ensure OHKO or at leat a great amount of damage. Trick is just amazing aganist a lot of switch-ins like Blissey, Snorlax, Gliscor etc...
Suicune @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Hp/ 164 Def / 92 Spe
Nature: Bold
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Surf
- Ice Beam
Suicune is a frustrating pokemon, it can take even not-stabbed electric moves, keep calm minding, and restore the damage, chesto berry is for immediate sweeping and in extreme troubles it can handle with annoyers like breelom. The evs are put to increase Cune's Def, it survives Choice scarf Heatran Explosions.
Heatran @ Choice scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA /4 SpD/ 252 Spe
Nature: Modest
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Dragon Pulse
Classical Choice scarf Heatran that tries to switch on a fire-type move and sweep with the right move, Dragon Pulse kills on predicted Flygon's switch-ins but i'm considering to put HP Electric.
Scizor @ Choice band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 8 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- U-Turn
Scizor is my main physical sweeper, it's main move grants priority to finish off low-hp pokemon, U-turn scouts, Pursuit handles with anti-rapid spinners. I chose the Choice Band version instead of the Sword Dance one, because of the role Scizor is supposed to be on my team. My priority in fact is to hard-hit rotom and forretress counters.
Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 Atk/ 4 Def/ 252 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Roar
- Superpower
Mamoswine is put for a simple reason: My team needed at lest another Physical sweeper (or i would risk to lose 6-0 againist a snorlax or a Blissey after my Scizor is gone) but Needed also someone that can easy take an electric move, and defeat zapdos, so i choose Mamo beetween Tyrannitar, Swampert and Hippodown, but effectivly, I still have several doubts on him. BTW ice shard is a good STAB priority move and Roar Helps aganist set-up teams like baton passer ones who would otherwise own my team easily.
Problems met: I still have some problems aganist dusknoir, in particural with substitute versions, and quite same problems with SubGengar. My team lacks an important water doubl resistance, that allows Starmie or Gyarados having a good time with my weakened pokemon.
So that's all for the moment, I will appreciate all kind of help, in order to fix this team, I'm not very experienced in competitive battling but I think I'm learning not so slowly.
