My Battle Tower team that could use improvement.

Evening, I have a battle tower team here that needs to be improved because this team is very tough to take down but I think it can be better. I decided to show you guys my team to see if you know how to improve this because I know it can be better but I wanted to gague your opinions.

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 80 Atk/252 SpAtk/176 spd
Naive (+Spd, -SpD)
-Draco Meteor- Strong STABed attack that puts a large dent into anything that doesn't resist it or outright KOs them.
-Fire Blast- Strong fire attack used against anything that doesn't resist it.
-EQ- Filler move. Puts a large dent into a lot of pokes if it isn't resisted.
-Crunch- Filler move. Used against any pokes who have a weakness to it. Plain and Simple.

This is my form of MixMence. Strong pokemon in competetive battles but has suprisingly not been a strong member of my team. The pokemon I am looking to swap out for perhaps a traditional sweeper. Not a bad poke by any stretch of the imagination but I think I could do better here. Functions as my lead by name only.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SpAtk
Relaxed(+Def, -Spd)
-EQ- Strong STAB ground attack that puts decent damage into a pokemon.
-Surf- Used against bulky ground types like Hippowdon or the occasional Steelix.
-Avalanche- I know the fallout you get with this move than if you use Ice Beam, but this attack has been stronger about getting rid of Garchomps and the Lati@s then Ice Beam.
-Stone Edge- Strong Rock types attack used against Gyrados or other opposing fliers such as Zapdos.

I'm very proud of Swampert and with a good reason. It effectively counters many of the threats present in Battle Tower and has been perhaps the strongest member of my team so far. If he goes down generally I'm in trouble.

Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 180 HP/200 Atk/130 SDef
Adamant (+ATk, -SpAtk)
-UTurn- My primary means of stopping Starmies. Use U-Turn on Starmie and switch it to Salamence/Swampert if the Starmie isn't killed.
-Brick Break - Filler attack. Used if I'm facing an opposing Tyranitar at full health or if the opposing poke resists all other attacks and I'm low on options.
-Quick Attack- Used if I need to finish someone off quickly but if the opposing poke has resistance to bullet punch.
-Bullet Punch- I'm sure I don't need to explain this attack but I will anyway. Extremely useful for damaging a variety of different pokemon and makes Scizor a prominent threat to anyone foolish enough not to prepare for it.

Scizor is perhaps one of the most overused pokemon competetively in a long time with a good reason. I decided to throw the EVs more into defense since I prefer to bring out Scizor only when everyone else has been sufficiently weakened or to finish off someone quickly.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It has done very well for me so far but I've run into a few rough patches where nothing seems to work. Swampert is very key for this team since he functions as a counter to a lot of dangerous threats which I'm in trouble if he falls.

Anyway comment away and feel free to speak up if you think a better pokemon could be used here.

Thanks in advance. Threat list to come soon.

Okay, first off, outrage would be much more usefull over crunch.

And since battle tower pokes won't switch, youre better off using x-scizzor over u-turn on scizor, since you can use a more powerful attack without switching.

Thanks for the advice for Scizor. Although I rarely use Scizor for anything other than Bullet Punch late in the game.

As for Outrage on Mixmence, the only problem with that is that Salamence is locked into Outrage and allows for something like a Starmie to come in and take it out easily.

Any other ideas?

For Swampert, you should replace Surf with Waterfall. Since 3/4 of your Swampert is physical attacks, why not make it all physical?

Salamence could be replaced by Dragonite, which has a better movepool and better defences. The only downside is Speed.

There should also be a Stealth Rock support.

Also if you are aiming to beat the Tycoon, keep in mind that you have nothing to work against his Milotic. Thats why I recommend Dragonite, with Thunderpunch. For his Rhyperior, you need Grass Knot or any special Ice attack. His Dragonite is taken care of easily by Swampert's Avalanche.
