My battle Tower Team

Hey guys I've been trying my best to get rank 5 on the battle tower but something always seems to screw me up. Here is my team and let me know what you guys think.

Pokeguy's Bold Suicune
dpmfa245.png

EVs: 252hp/252defence/6Special attack
Item: LeftOvers
Move Set: Surf/ice beam/calm mind/roar
Team Role:Counters common weaknesses

My team has always lost at hands of kingdras, metagrosses, and scizors. Suicune is the best answer to all theses guys. I try to come in and get some free CMs and if i'm successful I usually sweep the rest of their pokemon with suicune alone. Roar acts like a psudo haze incase suicune switched into something that has been raising it's stats for a while.

Adament Mamoswine
dpmfa473.png

EVs: 252HP/252attack
Item: Expert Belt
Move Set: Ice Shard/Earthquake/super power/bite
Team Role: Dedicated Dragon Slayer and priority move killer

Mamoswine is the only pokemon on my team I haven't tried replacing. He does his job and he does it well. This guy packs the hardest hitting Ice Shard in the game, and one hits every dragon in the game not carrying a yachi berry or other means of damage reduction. With the given EVs I can switch in on even salamence's outrage (as long as he doesn't crit) and finish the poor dragon off. Quake is for stab and super power because he doesn't get to many other options. I replaced stealth rock with bite because shedinga was a problem. Bit is also the only thing mamo can do to cresselia that leaves a mark.

Adament Dragonite
dpmfa149.png

EVs: 138HP/160atk/212spd
Item: Yachi Berry
Move Set: Outrage/Dragon Dance/earthquake/fire punch
Team Role: Sweeper

Dragonite comes in on pokemon such as infernape who he can easily setup on without to much trouble. I had waterfall on this guy before so I could actually take out infernape without having to outrage, but decided it wasn't needed any longer due to suicune's arrival to the team. Fire punch is there mostly as a backup to to killing shedinja. Shedinja with a free turn of sword dance can pack a good punch because of it's focus sash.

Pokemon I've used:
dpmfa467.png

SpecsMortar with HP grass/thunderbolt/overheat/lavaplum
I tried psychic but didn't really help. Lavaplum works much better and can 1 hit gengar 30% of the time because of burn. Magmortar countered nearly every metal type in the game not named heatran, but lost to raindance kingdra still. Suicune replaced magmortar

Sashed alakazam was pretty good. This is when i first started to notice a real metagross problem with my team. I put counter on alakazam but if he wasn't at full health counter would help because sash wouldn't activate. Alakazam was dropped for magmortar.

My origenal sweeper. Once I started getting better at the game I realized salamence had some nice resistances that the rest of my team had a problem agenst. I started switching him on on attacks and won alot more games. But then every now and then something would pick him off because of a crit or something. I decided dragonite was the better choice for the way I was using salamence. And after dragon dance and the EVs I was using for both they had pretty much the same speed.

My team's biggest problem is status conditions. Hypnoses usually destroys me or an untimely freezing. Let me know what you guys think, and if there is anything I can do to improve this team. Here is my threat list:

Offensive Threat List:

Aerodactyl : Never really gave me a problem, I just double shard it usually for the KO.
---
Alakazam : Double shard usually takes him out nicely. Suicune can setup on it as well. Alakazam is just to frail.
---
Azelf : Azelf demands respect. I usually just use dragonite to dragon dance and outrage it.
---
Breloom : Depending on how it's built Mamoswine usually just 2 hits it with ice shard the first one usually preventing a sub from ever going up.
---
Dragonite : One max two ice shards and Dnite is a goner. Suicune can always ice beam it if mamo is KOed.
---
Electivire : Mamoswine usually takes care of vire with no problem, even if it's carrying fire punch or cross chop. Dragonite can also deal with it if need be.
---
Empoleon : Empoleon is usually taken out by dragonite. If empoleon doesn't score a crit it's Good Game for the metal pinguin.
---
Flygon : Mamo and suicune.
---
Gengar : As log as Gengar doesn't Hypnoses mamo just two hits it with bite/shard.
---
Gyarados : Alot of gyarados carrying ice shard which is there undoing vs my dragonite. I switch in on a waterfall and dragon dance on their ice fang (yachi keeping me alive) and then just outrage for the KO.
---
Heatran : Suicune just laughs at heatran.
---
Heracross : Heracross demands respect as well. A dragon danced fire punch is usually the answer.
---
Infernape : Dragonite loves infernape. I can switch in on either it's close combat or flarebliz and setup. Even if he hits with stone edge, I wont have a problem as long as it doesnt crit.
---
Jolteon : Two hit by mamo with shard.
---
Kingdra : The reason suicune is even on my team is because of this pokemon. I just ice beam it to death after some calm minds.
---
Latias : Never really see latias but usually just take it out with any member of my team.
---
Lucario : Not a big problem. All may pokemon can either hit it for super effective or stall it down (if it's special sweeping).
---
Machamp : Machamp's D-punch has cost me the game a few times. I just take my chances and hit it with whatever i can. Dragonite is usually best.
---
Magnezone: No one on my team is steel, and is easily owned by Dnite and Mamo.
---
Mamoswine : My own mamoswine can just super power it for the 1hit KO and suicune can double surf it.
---
Metagross : The other reason suicune was added to my team. Metagross can't do much to suicune even if it's carrying a thunder punch. Slower ones are taken out by the rest of my team.
---
Salamence : Mamoswine and suicune can take him out. If he switches in on mamo I usually just switch to suicune.
---
Scizor : Firepunch from dragonite or I just switch to suicune.
---
Starmie : Starmie has just recently become a problem now that I no longer have an electric move on my pokemon. I usually am forced to trade my dragonite for their starmie.
---
Tyranitar : Is hit for super effect from my entire team.
---
Weavile : Is taken out easily with mamo and suicune.

Defensive Threat List:

Blissey : mamoswine just super powers it and dragonite can usually 2hit it.
---
Bronzong : suicune laughs at bronzong
---
Cresselia : Bite doesn't do much to it but it's my only option if mamo is out. Dragonite can usually setup and outrage on it unless it crits.
---
Forretress : Hardly ever encounter it. Never lost to one so I guess it doesn't bother my team.
---
Gliscor : i treat it like any of the x4 week to ice dragons.
---
Hippowdon : suicune
---
Skarmory : Usually just fire punch it to death or setup with suicune on it if it doesn't switch me out.
---
Snorlax : super power from mamo or dragonite's earthquake are usually enough.
---
Suicune: I usually just mirror it and burn it's CM's PP down using roar.
---
Swampert : Can't do much to my team and dragonite usually setup nicely on it switching into it's water fall or earthquake with ease.
---
Tentacruel : Never encounter tentacruel in the BT
---
Vaporeon : Suicune just usually struggles it to death if it comes to that.
---
Zapdos : Double iceshard from mamo 2HKOs this pkmn

Mamoswine should definitely be jolly or adamant. And probably have life orb instead of expert belt for the Pokemon he is neutral against. I would normally go for hidden power electric on a Suicune for gyarados and other waters, your team could probably use that but ice beam's good if you don't wanna spend ages getting it.

I would switch sicune moveset to Rest, Surf, Sleep talk, Calm mind for more survivability. Plus suicune can also pp stall due to its ability pressure. Although you only have on attack on it if you change it your other team members can take care of the types you dont hit for neutral.
Grass-mamoswine
Water- Well you could not hit waters before, but i would try thunderpunch on Dragonite to hit them.
Dragon-Mamoswine

Mamoswine-You do not need bite to hit shedninja due to the fact that dragonite has fire punch, also if you switch your suicune to the set i said you can just stall it out.

Dragonite-I have no suggestions for him.

Thats all i got so Good luck :)
oh what is your best streak with this team?
