Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Superpower
Basic AV Azumarill, i run 8 speed just to beat 0/4 speed azumarill. superpower over knockoff to help deal with ferrothorn. The rest of the moves are pretty self explanatory. this thing helps deal damage and tank a few weak hits while talon or charizard-x get ready to sweep
Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Healing Wish
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Defog
i NEED a defogger since i have zard AND talonflame. I like healing wish to bring one of my sweepers back to life for a late game sweep. the other moves are self explanatory stabs. I tried psychic before, but i think psyshock is much better.
Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 144 HP / 252 Atk / 112 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
One of my two sweepers. he sets up with extreme EASE on stuff like heatran without toxic/earth power, a lot of will-o-wispers, and can even wall mega manectric. hes just a beast of a pokemon. I like the bulky dd set so that i can get the best of his sweeping potential while still walling the things i need him to wall.
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Flamethrower
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
the most annoying thing, everyone hates it. still a solid wall and can be deadly after a few calm minds. its also a nice status absorber.
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock
i made this set myself and i really really like it. it can tank a lot of hits and still do good damage. i have considered switching it for scarf lando-t but this has done very well so far. also it is my source of stealth rocks, which helps a ton with sweeping, and he can slow u-turn out when i need him too
Talonflame @ Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Swords Dance
- Roost
This thing is a crazy sweeper. a lot of teams arent as prepared for it as they were a few months ago.
I have thought about running sharp beak over leftovers for a little extra brave bird damage. it gets to +4 or +6 quite often. on things like rotom i usually roost up and live the volt switch and they are forced to come in again while i swords dance. i have KO'd many rotoms with this thing with +6 brave bird!
basic strategy i use with this team.
get rid of their stealth rocker
set up my rocks throughout the match
defog their rocks and set mine up again
I try to do these steps as fast as i possibly can by baiting in whatever their stealth rocker is as much as i can.
After that I decide which of talon/zard-x would do a better job as a sweeper. Whichever one i choose to be a sweeper, i will make the other one act as a wallbreaker and just try to hit stuff as hard as i can so that the other one has an easier time sweeping.
However, often times i can just beat teams using my defensive core of av azumarill, latias, clefable, and lando-t!
any suggestions will be considered and tried out! this has been my most successful team by far!
