My BW SandStorm

Hi, I post here for advice on my team that TSS is a basic, not so basic as that, because I've never seen the other.

Introduction

For my first team in the 5G I had something simple, I thought the climate, and particularly the TSS because I always loved playing here and minotaupe really interested me.

The Team

Tyranitar @Leftovers -Sandstorm
- Ice Beam
- Fire Blast
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
@Sassy (+SpD - -Speed) 252ev's pv, 180 SpA, 76 SpD

The installer classic SS, it can ask the PRO, some do not expect or ice beam fire blast, even though it is rather the classic 5G. I have not taken Hippowdon, because I prefer Tyranitar is much more useful in-game.Ice Beam can take care of gliscor, deflagration for skarmory / zor.

Excadrill @Ballon -SandRush
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Swords Dance
- X-Cissor
@Adamant (+ Atq - - SpA) 252 ev's atq, speed, 4ev's pv

My basic simply, it's a monster under SS, it can be an entire team if the opposing major stallers summers have eliminated. X-Cissors OHKO Celebi. SD after it OHKO Mew and all psy-typesl, it also OHKO Dragonite with but after a Landslide SD

Birijion @leftovers - Justice Heart

- Hidden Power Ice
- Giga Drain
- Calm Mind
- Focus Blast

Timid, 252ev's spd and SpA, 4pv

it's my counter to TSS. I can also take advantage of the SS but if there are speed tie and I lose them. excadrill is the rest of my team. He's very well counter the SS. After two fullness, the game is almost over.It allows me to fill the low plant and soil gastrodon tar / excadrill.

Gastrodon @leftovers - Storm Drain
- Scald
- Recover
- Toxic
- Earth Power

Calm 252ev's pv and SpD 06 SpA

He is my counter to RTD, with its capacity increases atk special, and it is really annoying with that toxic or scald burn, I burn on the switch a physical sweeper. I spammed and scald / recover / earth power to kill 'em

227.png

Skarmory @Leftovers - Sturdy
- Spike
- Roar
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind

Impish - 252 ev's pv, 124 SpD, 144 def

a second counter to TSS because viridion is fragile and can quickly be killed on an anticipated or otherwise. He cons miraculously well with his high defense. I can prevent excadrill to stand even after a whirlwind by DL. With Spikes + stealth rock whirlwind spam I do damage to the opposing team, then excadrill does the rest. ^ ^

Landorus @Choice Scarf - Sand Force
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Hidden power ice

Naïve, 252ev's speed and atq, 4pv.

Wallbreaker making a very wrong with his ability, he 2HKO Swampert, it can hurt stallers physics, and this is my revenge killer. hp ice for adverse landorus / Gliscor, u-turn to scoot the opposing team. Stone Edge for dragons, like earthquake and stab.

Thank you for following my RMT, Sorry if you not understand things, I don't speak English, so I used google translation ...
if you have to change things, or advice it would be cool thank you!

You've taken a common strategy and put on your own twist to it. I think your sweeping Pokemon are excellent and you have a couple solid walls, but a few common Pokemon can counter this team. Ferrothorn could give this team some trouble, and only Tyranitar's Fire Blast could OHKO it. Since your Tyranitar is probably the first one out, it can easily be KOed before you even see your opponents Ferrothorn. Birijion could probably take care of it but it helps to have a Pokemon with Taunt on your team. You also have Roar and Whirlwind on Skarmory, I think this is a typo, so replace Roar with Stealth Rock. Also I would advise to put a Life Orb on Excadrill instead of Air Ballon, unless you are always Swords Dancing on his first turn. Other than that this team is great and I really like your Landorus and Birijion, as they seem to be the offensive backbone of your team.
Good Luck, Dragone

I ask the SR with tar and I never had a problem with noacier for the moment, and roar is very useful ^ ^
Thank you for posting!

Hey, this is a solid team but there are a few flaws in it. Gastrodon and Virizion are kind of redundant together. They both check rain dance combined with Tyranitar and can do well against Thundurus to an extent. Rotom-W would be an awesome replacement over Gastrodon as it allows you to check different threats that Gastrodon can not, such as offensive swords dance Scizor. A good set would by Volt Switch | Hydro Pump | Will-o-Wisp | Pain Split with an EV spread of 248 HP | 252 Def | 8 Spe and a bold nature. For the best item choice, leftovers would work here. Volt Switch is used over Thunderbolt in this case as Rotom-W can lure in Lati@s and volt switch to Tyranitar in order to trap it. Latios is a nuisance to this team, as Tyranitar is not running enough special defense. I would suggest bumping Tyranitar's EV spread to 252 HP | 48 SpA | 200 SpD | 8 Spe with a Chople Berry. Also, a moveset with Crunch | Fire Blast | Pursuit | Stealth Rocks would do much better at trapping threats such as Latios.

Skarmory's EV spread could use adjusting as well. I am not too sure on what that EV spread does, but I would just swap it to 252 HP | 240 Def | 16 Spe. This will allow Skarmory to switch into Excadrill and Landorus much easier as you're primarily focusing on defense. Also, Skarmory should really have roost over roar, as you already have a phazing move with whirlwind so there is no need for roar. Finally, I'd try to switch Landorus to a substitute + 3 attacks variant. Substitute Landorus can lure in and weaken Excadrill's counters pretty well which the scarf set will not really be able to do. A set with Substitute | Earthquake | Stone Edge | Hidden Power [Ice] would work best with an EV spread of 252 Atk | 4 SpA | 252 Spe. The best item choice would be leftovers since running substitute and life orb is kind of counterproductive.

Just some suggestions to think about. This is a pretty solid team, good luck.

Yeah definitely use Jellicent over Gastrodon. Unless you badly need a Thundurus counter, Jellicent a superior option instead of Gastrodon because it blocks just about every common spinner from getting rid of Skarmory's Spikes. You have god knows how many Thundurus counters between Landorus, Excadrill in the sand and even Virizion if you're in a pinch. Jellicent gives rain teams just as many headaches as Gastrodon, since Surf/Waterfall spammers like Politoed and Azumarill have tons of problems breaking it. Taunt Jellicent also gives you a way of dealing with Reuniclus one-on-one, who, although can't set up on much, can be scary if it comes in on Virizion. Might want to consider Cursed Body over Water Absord unless you absolutely feel you need the water immunity, since disabling Reuniclus' Psychic will definitely ensure you beat it.

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb / Cursed Body
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe
- Scald
- Taunt
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp

I really don't like the fact that you have a Scarf on Landorus. You have Excadrill to do almost all the revenge killing that you need, like picking off Thundurus. In rare cases, such as Thundurus in the rain, you can always rely on Virizion to beat it. I feel as if you could make good use of a better wallbreaking set with Substitute / Earthquake / Hidden Power Ice / Stone Edge and Leftovers. You could even use Smack Down over Stone Edge if Bronzong is being a pain. Substitute Landorus eases a lot of prediction, since you don't have to guess perfectly when Gliscor is about to come in, making it generally a better wallbreaker than Scarf variants.

You should really consider using Stealth Rock / Crunch / Pursuit / Fire Blast on Tyranitar, since you don't have anything to repeatedly take Latios's Specs Draco Meteor, so having Pursuit to kill it off at first chance will be extremely beneficial to your team. Crunch is there to keep Reuniclus at bay, and also in case Latias tries to stay in and Calm Mind against you. You definitely need Fire Blast since you don't have a lot of powerful ways of hitting Ferrothorn. You can use a spread of Sassy 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD to make it easier to take Draco Meteors, and even without Special Attack investment, Ferrothorn is still comfortably 2HKOed by Fire Blast.

Also yeah I think you meant to put Roost over Roar on Skarmory, or at least I hope that's a typo.

yes I used jellicent before but I found it took too much on physical blows. but the distribution of ev's will help me, I'll use it thank you!
If someone other opinions / advice do not hesitate to post them here ^ ^
