My D/P and Shoddy team

Well I plan on changing this team pretty soon, it's the standard OU garbage so please no comments on how boring it is.

gyarados.png
@Leftovers
Intimidate
Adamant
216 HP / 16 Atk / 176 Def / 100 Speed
Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Earthquake
Taunt

Standard Bulky Gyra lead. Taunt Skarm/Bronzong leads, if I'm predicting a sleep then I go to Blissey and go straight back to him while they set up SR or Reflect.

infernape.png
@ Life Orb
Blaze
Naive
24 Atk/232 Sp.Atk/ 252 Speed
Hidden Power [Ice]
Fire Blast
Grass Knot
Close Combat

My Mixape who uses HP Ice over Nasty Plot. I found it hard for me to get the Nasty Plot off so instead I went with HP [ice] Counters other SkarmBliss users I may encounter and can cause a riot if my opponent isn't expecting it.

garchomp.png
@ Choice Scarf
Sand Veil
Adamant
252 Atk/ 252 Spd/ 6 Def
Outrage
Fire Blast
Crunch
Earthquake

Scarfchomp, my late game sweeper and revenge killer. I chose Crunch over Stone Edge because I really hate seeing Cresselia, but maybe I should change it. I put the last 6 EV's in Defense, after I made it I considered the last 6 going into Sp.Def or HP but I guess he can come in on a weak physical attack.

tyranitar.png
@ Leftovers
Sandstream
Adamant
6 HP/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spd
Dragon Dance
Crunch
Earthquake
Stone Edge

DD T-Tar, he can come in for weak special hits and take them convincingly. Then he starts to set up DD's. In my last RMT someone had suggested a Life Orb and Ice Beam to replace Crunch but I found this to work a little better. What do you guys think? He used to be Jolly but I changed it to Adamant. Does this look a little better?

blissey.png
@Leftovers
Natural Cure
Bold
252 HP/ 252 Def/6 Sp.Def
Seismic Toss
Thunder Wave
Softboiled
Stealth Rock

Ahh you know you love the Pink fluff. Obviously my special wall, can take Gengar and Starmie pretty well as long as Gengar isn't a Modest Specs, in which case I'll have some trouble with Focus Blast. (I've never ran into it before, but I've been told that I would have trouble with it)

skarmory.png
@Leftovers
Keen Eye
Impish
252 HP/ 6 Atk/ 252 Def
Brave Bird
Whirlwind
Spikes
Roost

Well my obvious physical wall. surprisingly I don't see many SkarmBliss users around with the changing metagame. Sets up 3 layers of Spikes and can wind things around. Brave Bird over Drill Peck because I figured, Skarmory doesn't usually need to attack so when it does, it should be hitting hard.

Rate, Hate, Whatever, just please don't flame. :toast:

If I were you I would use Scarfape as your lead. He works alot better, and Doesn't get walled by Bronzong. The physical set works the best in my opinion.

Infernape @ Choice scarf
Blaze
252 Atk/ 100 Spd/ 150 spare evs (I put them in Hp)
-U turn/ Stone edge
-Flare Blitz
-Close combat
-Thunderpunch/ Stone edge

If I remember correctly, Infernape can hit Garchomp for at least 55%. Stone edge hits Gyarados hard, but Thunderpunch can hit those bulky waters on the switch. Gyarados leads are a bit more predictable imo, as most people see and Infernape and suspect the Nasty plotter.

Just a suggestion. Otherwise your team looks quite good.

Edit: I see that you have your Garchomp scarfed, you should probably Choice band it, so that you can OHKO alot of the things that you're up against.

You are better off with a non-scarf Infernape, you already have ScarfChomp doing all the fast work, so slap a Expert Belt on Infernape so it guarantees a OHKO at dragons like Salamence. I'm gonna be completely honest, I don't think Tyranitar will be able to set up, since this team isn't made to support him. I would just go CB Ttar, who hits hard with Crunch making alot of things 2HKO's without having to DD. Run 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP, or if you want it to beat Gengar and Starmie (although you have a Blissey) go 252 HP / 40 Atk / 216 SpDef. I don't see any big big problems with this team, it's pretty standard so there isn't much to rate.

Yeah I considered the change in T-Tars EV spread but I do like the extra HP. I'll consider changing T-Tar to 252Atk/252Spd/4HP though.

You need to explain why Infernape is better than the standard Life Orb varient - at this moment in time your claim seems to stand as "Infernape is more effective than Life Orb, because it is". You cannot do that. This principle also applies for your suggestion on Garchomp to replace Choice Scarf for Choice Band. Sure, it may hit the foe's Pokemon harder, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the 'better' option all the time. It may in fact be better than the Choice Scarf version in this particular team, but why?

I personally feel Infernape is as fine as it is, and that Gyarados suits as the lead. I do however believe you should reconsider Gyarados' nature, as outspeeding opposing Gyarados is pointless when you don't have Stone Edge to ensure you can get the best out of the scenario. Maybe if you were to trade Earthquake for Stone Edge, then Jolly seems like a viable option but stick to Adamant if you decide to remain with Earthquake's assistance.

Tyranitar should atleast have maximum Speed with a Jolly nature, but for some reason you appear to have 252 EVs in HP. I strongly suggest you redistribute the EVs, in where you maximize Tyranitar's Speed. It's fairly obvious that you will remove the current HP EVs. If you feel that the HP is absolutely necessary, then give Tyranitar an Adaman nature.

Thunder Wave on Blissey with two extremel fast Pokemon and two Dragon Dance uses? I don't believe it's worth it, so remove Thunder Wave for Wish/Thunderbolt/Ice Beam.

Finally, I believe that Garchomp should indeed go with Stone Edge over Crunch. Cressilia won't be harming Tyranitar significantly, so in the case where Cressilia is brought forth, just switch in Tyranitar/Blissey (preferably the latter, as Thunder Wave ruins your late-game sweep). Besides, Gyarados opposition is more of a major threat than Cressilia.

Alright I'll change Gyra and T-Tar to Adamant. Which do you think is more suiting? The HP or just go with 252 atk/252 speed. I just liked the HP because it allows me to take a some hits allowing more DDances. I'm going to edit Gyra and then edit T-Tar with your response. I'll consider dropping T-Wave but it's mainly there to cripple something before switching out.
