Help me rate my team. I lead with the rampardos and talonflame to then be able to take out the opponents first Pokemon.
Rampardos:
Ability: Sheer force
Item: Choice band
Ev: 252 attack, 92 defence, 162 speed
Adamant nature
Tera type: Ground
Moveset:
Head smash
Earthquake
Crunch
Iron head
Rampardos is a staple on my team due to its raw attacking power. It’s is always one of my leads due to it being able to kill almost anything in one shot. Mixed with tailwind from talonflame almost nothing can out speed it aswel. Rock head is amazing stab on the rampardos and an amazing move in general. Tera ground boosts the power of earthquake to hopefully be able to reverse the reduce damage when attacking more than one Pokemon. It also can’t hit the talonflame. Crunch and iron head are there for coverage due to them gaining the effect of sheer force.
Talonflame:
Ability: Galewinds
Item: Heavy-duty boots
Ev: 252 attack, 4 defence, 252 speed
Adamant nature
Tera type: Flying
Moveset:
Tailwind
Brave bird
Roost
Protect
Talonflame is the second Pokemon I always lead with due to it being able to set up tailwind for rampardos. Using gailwind guarantees that my rampardos is able to outspeed and ohko the first Pokemon. I went for brave bird instead of a fire type move due to me also having my inciniroar.
Alolan Ninetales:
Ability: Snow warning
Item: lightclay
Ev: 252 special attack, 4 special defence, 252 speed
Modest nature
Tera type: Steel
Moveset:
Aurora vale
Blizzard
Dazzling gleam
Nasty plot
Ninetails is really my only supportive Pokemon on this team however that is not by much. Thanks to how fast she is she is able to set up aurora vale to help the survivability of my team. Blizzard and dazzling gleam are really strong stab moves that are then able to hit both of the opponents Pokemon. Nasty plot is then there for a good set up move. Finally tera steal is there to negate ninetails biggest weaknesses.
Incineroar:
Ability: Intimidate
Item: Leftovers
Ev: 252 attack, 4 defence, 252 speed
Adamant nature
Tera type: Fire
Moveset:
Fake out
Knock off
Flare blitz
Parting shot
Incineroar is another somewhat supportive Pokemon due to intimidate, fake out and parting shot. Knock off and flare blitz are there for strong stab moves that can also deal a lot of damage to the opponent. Incineroar is mainly used as a pivate Pokemon due keep up the stat drops on the opponent.
Blood moon Ursaluna:
Ability: Minds eye
Item: Life orb
Ev: 252 defence, 252 special attack, 4 speed
Modest nature
Tera type: Normal
Moveset:
Blood moon
Hyper voice
Earth power
Calm mind
Blood moon Ursaluna is most likely my second strongest Pokemon on my team. It has high survivability thanks to its high defences and also very strong attacking power. Ursaluna is my main tera Pokemon to be able to have double stab on blood moon and hyper voice. Earth power is there for an extra bit of stab and calm mind is a small set up move just incase it needs to deal more damage
Rillaboom:
Ability: Grassy surge
Item: Choice band
Ev: 252 attack, 128 defence, 128 speed
Adamant nature
Tera type: Grass
Moveset:
Wood hammer
Grassy glide
Knock off
U-turn
Finally rillaboom is my second really strong physical attacker. If I don’t decide to tera Ursaluna I tend to tera my rillaboom to gain double stack on my powerful grass type moves. Wood hammer and grassy glide are a staple on a rillaboom move set due to them being stab and also getting boosted from grassy surge. Knock off is a powerful coverage move and u-turn is there incase I need to send in the rillaboon and then switch it out straight away.
