The Team at a Glance
Into:
I always wanted a team that actually worked. I had a couple of successful teams but they never felt right, and i always lost more than i won. After a year of Gen V, i finally decided on this team.
Building the Team:
I always wanted to try a suicide lead. After reading guide after guide, i ran across the blue pixie. Not much to say, it gets the job done.
I love Crustle, and as soon as i thought of Azelf, i thought of him. The hermit crab has great potential, and as my physical sweeper, it even can take down solidly built rain teams, a common threat in the OU Metagame.
These next two were placed on this team to take care of the previously mentioned rain, and as my special sweepers. They destroy politoed and vaporeon and help balance out the team.
Well, Hitmontop is interesting. It does its job of protecting Dragonite from Ice-types. Yet it needed some support against the flyers, especially Tornadus. And thats why Heatran is here, besides to wall the all too common Chandelure.
After weeks and weeks of practice with my team, i realized it was horrible. I needed proper spin support, without it, my Crustle's sturdy would be no use. So i switched out the light weight Hitmontop for Starmie, which benefited my team greatly with its infamous BoltBeam combo. Infernape just had to come in to replace the fighting type loss, and skarm to cover for steel loss. Eelektross had to go, so i tried Blissey once and of course i knew i could do better, so i settled for eviolite Chansey.
