My First 5th Gen OU Team

Hi everybody! I've been into competitive battling for a while, so I decided to post my main team here.

Whimsicott @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP/252 SpD/4 Def
- Stun Spore
- Leech Seed
- Cotton Guard
- Taunt

Whimsicott, in my opinion, is the best lead ever. It messes up every other lead(with the exception being pokemon with SapSipper). If it runs into a sweeper, it stun spores it. If it runs into a wall, it taunts and leech seeds it. And for some pokemon, it just walls them with cotton guard and leech seeds them to death. It's just awesome.

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Nature: Impish
EVs: 236 HP/140 Atk/132 Def
- Earthquake
- Acrobatics
- Fling
- Swords Dance

Gliscor with Poison Heal is amazing. It takes hits very well, which gives it time to set up with Swords Dance, and he can badly poison foes using fling, which also powers up acrobatics and makes it stronger than earthquake. It easily takes care of all the slower pokemon(except skarmory).

468_togekiss_1_m_display.png

Togekiss @ King's Rock
Ability: Serene Grace
Nature: Calm
EVs: 156 HP/60 Def/148 SpA/144 SpD
- Air Slash
- Thunder Wave
- Magic Coat
- Encore

This Togekiss has won me many battles. Air Slash, with a King's Rock, has an 70% flinch rate, and if you combine that with paralysis, then you won't be moving 95% of the time theoretically. That is ridiculous. I have encore so I can either paralyze you or switch to another pokemon and knock you out. Magic Coat is there for reflecting things like taunt, and it completely ruins my opponent's Whimsicott.

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Cursed Body
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP/76 SpA/180 SpD
- Scald
- Shadow Ball
- Taunt
- Recover

Jellicent is great at absorbing special hits. What I reallly love about it, though, is the first move I listed;Scald. Burning my foes with it just awesome, as it ruins many pokemon and makes Jellicent wall physical pokemon if it can burn them. And with recover, it's really hard to knock out without using toxic or a strong electric or grass pokemon(curse you Breloom!).

Infernape_en_Pok%C3%A9mon_Ranger_2.png

Infernape @ Choice Band
Ability: Iron Fist
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz
- Thunderpunch
- U-Turn

Choice Band Infernape destroys almost everything. The only pokemon that it can't one shot are really defensive ones and ones that resist its STABs. U-Turn is for scouting, but I think that only works if Infernape is your lead, so I'm thinking of getting Earthquake instead. I don't know. I need your opinion on this.

Jolteon.png

Jolteon @ Life Orb
Ability:Volt Absorb
Nature:Timid
EVs: 252 SpA/252 Spd/4 HP
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Ice
- Shadow Ball
- Volt Switch

This Jolteon I'm not sure about. It's a revenge killer, as I see it, although it might have other purposes that I dont' know about. Well, its job on my team is a revenge killer, and it has Hidden Power Ice and Shadow Ball for coverage, and Volt Switch for doing damage to my opponent while I switch. The life orb is to give it that extra power to knock out pokemon.

Well, that is my entire team right now. Please rate and give some constructive criticism. I'm open to suggestions from everyone about any member if my team.

You might want to put taunt on jellicent instead of ice beam, leftovers and subsitute instead of lens and cotton guard on whimsicott, volt switch and hp ice instead of signal beam and thunder wave on jolteon, and leftovers on togekiss. Also, they do not have a 95% of not attacking, with paralysis, kings rock, and airslash its around 80%
