Changes are in RED
Hello,
I've made my first team, but I think it can still improve a lot.
I don't have a fixed lead, I chose my lead depending on the other team (e.g. If I see a politoed, i'm going to use my Rotom-W)
My team:
-Cloyster (Physical Attacker)
-Dusknoir (Physical Wall, and a bit Special Wall)
-Alakazam (Special Attacker)
-Terrakion (Physical Attacker)
-Togekiss (Special Wall)
-Jirachi (Support + Special Attacker)
A more in-depth look into my team
Cloyster:
Ability: Linked Attack
Item: White Herb
Nature: Jolly
EV’s: 252 Spe, 252 Atk, 4 Hp
Attacks: -Icicle Spear
-Shell Smash
-Rock Blast
-Razor Shell
The thinking after this one is pretty easy, you come in on a physical attacker that doesn't has a super-effective move, you use shell smash (thanks to the white herb, your defense and special defense don't even lower) and then you start clearing with the STAB Icicle Spear or Razor Shell and Rock Blast for flying types.
Dusknoir:
Ability: Pressure
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Carefull
EV’s: 252 Hp, 252 Def, 4 Atk
Attacks: -Pain Split
-Will-O-Wisp
-Earthquake
-Sucker Punch
Ok, this one is made to break physical attackers with WoW, the eq and sucker punch do decent damage, and pain split is made for restoring some HP.
Alakazam:
Ability: Synchronize
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Timid
EV’s: 252 Sp Atk, 252 Spe, 4 Hp
Attacks: -Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
-Energy Ball
Alakazam, imo one of the best special sweepers with his 135 base Sp Atk, and 120 base speed. Magic guard is for easily coming in on a leech seed whimsicott and entry hazards.
Psychic is the strong stab move, shadow ball is for killing other psychic types, focus blast is for killing the loads of pokemon that aren't resistant to fighting-type moves, and energy ball is for having a strong grass move in my team.
Terrakion:
Ability: Justified
Item: Choice Scarf
Nature: Adamant
EV’s: 252 Atk, 252 Spe, 4Hp
Attacks: -Close Combat
-Rock Slide
-Earthquake
-X-Scissor
Terrakion, my scarfed revenge killer.
His task is: revenge killing :D
His CC and Rock Slide are really strong STAB attacks who will kill anything that doesn't resists it. He also has eq and X-scissor for having a movepool that has an as good as possible type-coverage.
Togekiss:
Ability: Serene Grace
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Calm
EV’s: 252 Hp, 252 SpD, 4 Def
Attacks: -Thunder Wave
-Air Slash
-Roost
-Aura Sphere
This one is thanks to Quadros, it's the paraflinch set. The opponent has only 30% chance to be able to attack if he's paralyzed and Air Slash is used. It also resist a hell of a lot special attacks, and if necessary you can roost yourself.
Aura Sphere is for hitting Steel- and Rock-type pokemon
Jirachi:
Ability: Serene Grace
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Modest
EV’s: 252 Hp, 252 Sp Atk, 4 Spe
Attacks: -Doom Desire
-Wish
-Protect
-U-turn
This one is a pretty uncommon set which I found somewhere on this forums.
The Hp Ev's are for being able to take some hits.
Doom desire is the first move, than you can use wish and after that turn, you can use protect or u-turn (depending on the opponents pokemon).
This is my first RMT, and English isn't my first language, so if I made some faults, please tell me :)
