SV OU My first ever RMT (SV OU BO)

Hello! And welcome to my very first RMT! I am looking to get some feedback as I am relatively new to building teams.

I know absolutely nothing when it comes to doing proper EV Spreads, or doing tera types, so any feed back is very much appreciated! Without further ado, here are the friends :)

Who doesn't like going up against this silly lil fella? I decided to go max speed, with some mixed investment into attack just so knock off has a lil more ummf. Encore is there for the luls, it's helped me out for when the teams least expect it

I think I noticed a theme here with the mixed attackers. Dragapult is one of my favorite pokemon, so you know I had to add homie to the team. I have very high success with this set, which I snagged from a serp gren HO team that was doing me very well. Theirs had hydro pump, but I opted to go for Fire Blast solely due to my team not having many options when it comes to attacking steels and grass types

To complete the Dragon Fairy Steel core, I added ya boi. I'm experimenting what type I should put him as, and based off of the last few matchups that I've had, flying seems to make sense, although that probably means that I should sub the air balloon. I'm not quite sure how to build him or if I should sub him for something else considering another member we have on the team

My hazard spinner, and remover. Went max speed to ensure at the bare minimum I can get or remove my rocks. Tera ghost to spin block if lead pult is gone. I was contemplating going tusk, but I feel like treads is the better move as.

I decided that in order to help me deal with those pesky steel and fairy types. Whatever Prim doesn't get, hopefully this lil bugga can stay alive to do something about them.

Amongst my testing, besides just being a terrible player, I do know that I struggle very much with stall. Only real way to win is hope that they choke or you get some good momentum off of a read

Hi there really like your team concept but there is some changes I would like to add.

1. I suggest changing your :rillaboom: set generally teams like these run band or terrain extender sets. I think for here terrain extender is justified.

You may ask why wood hammer? well firstly it has a chance to KO offensive :great tusk: and 2kod defensive variants. Which can be good for your team.

2. :dragapult: running sash here doesn’t really make much sense. So an alternative I would suggest here is making it specs. This allows your team to become more immediately threatening. You’ll have another fast Mon here so I believe you can afford to run modest pult here. This gives you the chance to KO :gliscor: and :serperior: with Draco meteor. At the cost of being slower than zama,darkrai,and the less common weavile. However that will be fine and I’ll tell you why in a bit.

Here is the standard smogon spread. With Tera steel you retain the toxic immunity while also while also resisting stab psychic and steel moves from the likes of :iron crown: and resisting moon blast from the likes of :iron valiant: if needed. Psychic noise prevents healing from Pokémon that might try to heal up on prim. Surf and moonblast is for stab. Its ability torrent powers up water moves when it’s at lose health.

4. Ok first major change is :hawlucha: > :iron valiant: feels a bit more appropriate with what your team is going for. One plus to running lucha is that after unburden boost it is blazing fast it outspeed the likes of scarf :darkrai: and booster :iron valiant:. This is why I said earlier modest pult would be fine + rilla glide etc.

Hello, and thank you for your recommendations! I would just like to challenge a couple of the changes that you made with my thought processes, but I am still going to try your team nonetheless!

In regards to my pult set, you'd honestly be surprised how much utility I get with it. With a lot of physical attackers in the meta, I am usually averaging 1-2 burned mons per game. Second, When people lead their pult, They usually draco, which brings me to sash, resulting in me getting a DD ko, and the utility to burn another mon, or get chip on a special attacker. It's been an amazing suicide lead.

I run tera fire on boom to prevent getting Ko'd by opposing booms


In regards to Lucha>Val, I understand this, as unburden is faster than booster val. However, I like the idea of having fast encore.

I will run it with these changes and see how I do. Thank you for all of your recommendations! I look forward to trying out the team :) Also, if you don't mind me asking, how do you add those little sprites? Thanks in advance!

Anytime! Also lucha can run encore as well! The reason I made the pult set selection is because your team is very offensive so this pult matches that and can blow huge holes in the opposition by potentially deleting annoying mons like :gliscor:. You can do the mini sprites by doing :: with the Pokémon’s name in between.

I also forgot to fix the moth set haha
