Hello everyone...
Well, I just got into competitive pokemon and I think that the team that I made needs some help.
P.S. Sorry for the lack of pictures.
Tyranitar @ leftovers
Sand Stream, Sassy, 252 HP / 64 SpAtk / 192 SpDef
-Stealth Rock
-Crunch
-Fire Blast
-Ice Beam
Tyranitar is an awesome pokemon. It supports my team by setting up sand as well as setting up SR. Crunch is for the common Deoxys-Defense leads, or a brave Espeon trying to bounce back my SR. Fire Blast is great for taking down Forretress/Ferrothorn, and with proper prediction, Ice Beam can take down Gliscor/Landourous.
Jirachi @ choice specs
Serene Grace, Timid, 252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe
-Flash Cannon
-Psychic
-Thunder
-Trick
Jirachi is actually a great revenge killer. It's got some decent bulk with those 100/100/100 defenses, and it's so unpredictable. Flash Cannon and Psychic are both great STABs. Thunder is to take out Politoeds and co. Trick is to cripple a wall (e.g. Ferrothorn). The EVs are nothing special, however I run Timid over Modest to at least speed tie with other base 100s.
Sandslash @ life orb
Sand Rush, Adamant, 4 hp / 252 atk / 252 spd
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-X-scissor
Sandslash is a BEAST in the sand. Seriously. This thing outspeeds neutral-natured scarfed base 100s (Salamence, for example) in the sand and hits pretty damned hard. A +2 Earthquake actually OHKOs Jellicent after SR damage. Swords Dance is to boost Sandslash's attack so it can hit harder. Earthquake and Stone Edge form a classic EdgeQuack combo that scores neutral damage on pretty much every pokemon (except for Bronzong). X-scissor helps out against Celebi, Amoongus and other Grass-types.
Scizor @ Choice Band
Technician, Adamant, 248 hp / 252 atk / 8 spd
-Bullet Punch
-U-Turn
-Superpower
-Pursuit
This thing is hands-down the BEST REVENGE KILLER ever! U-Turn is an amazing scouting move, although its use has been diminished since Team Preview was introduced. Bullet Punch is obviously Scizor's main STAB, and it will dent anything that doesn't resist it. Superpower to kill Heatran, and Pursuit to trap frail Psychic and Ghost types. Adamant and 252 atk EVs for the most power possible, and 248 hp EVs for bulk.
Latios @ life orb
Levitate, Timid, 252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe
-Draco Meteor
-Surf
-Psyshock
-Roost
Latios is a nice late-game finisher. Usually, I like to bring it in near the end of the game, so it can pick off the opposing team's weakened pokemon. Draco Meteor because it's fucking amazing, Surf and Psyshock as nice coverage moves, and roost to heal off residual life orb damage.
Gastrodon @ leftovers
Storm Drain, Calm, 252 hp / 244 def / 14 spd
-Earth Power
-Ice Beam
-Recover
-Toxic
Gastrodon seriously needs to be used more. It's my utility counter to pokemon such as Heatran (which practially never runs HP Grass anymore), Rotom-W, Scizor and etc. With it's amazing ability Storm Drain, it can easily force something like Starmie or Jellicent out. Earth Power for the obvious STAB, Ice Beam because it threatens a larger amount of the metagame than Scald, Recover to heal off damage and keep Gastrodon healthy throughout the game, and Toxic to stall out your opponent. Gastrodon could be described as the "glue" of my team.
Any feedback is welcome!
