Any advice would be much appreciated
P.S. I'm new to this so my reasons might be kinda strange, I did not use much reference material and I created this team based on trial and error
Hot Shot (Cinderace) (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Libero
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pyro Ball
- High Jump Kick
- Sucker Punch
- U-turn
Cinderace: I mainly use Cinderace as a sweep and sometimes as a pivot. I added sucker punch to help deal with Dragapult and Alakazam, it is also nice to clean up sometimes. Pyro Ball helps with Covinknight too, which counters many of my mons.
Mimi (Mimikyu) (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Disguise
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Play Rough
- Shadow Sneak
- Shadow Claw
Mimikyu: Mimikyu is very versatile for me, it can act as a sweep and also save my team from getting swept. The dragon and fighting immunity is super useful against Dragapult and Urshifu. Its Disguise makes it work well as a setup mon too.
Speedy Boi (Excadrill) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Swords Dance
- Poison Jab
Excadrill: Paired with Hippowdon it out-speeds almost anything and hits hard. I decided to have poison jab instead of iron head for grass mons like Rillaboom and Tangrowth. It is definitely the hardest hitter on my team and can set up when needed against tanky mons. Excadrill is one of my favorite mons.
Scrubba-Dub (Rotom-Wash) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Dark Pulse
- Hydro Pump
- Thunderbolt
Rotom-Wash: I made my Rotom-Wash to act as a bulky pivot with good type coverage. With its assault vest It can switch into most special attackers easily. Typically I don't try to sweep with it but it can fire off pretty strong hydro pumps and works very well as a lead.
Cactus (Ferrothorn) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Knock Off
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Protect
Ferrothorn: Ferrothorn is super physically tanky and can stall to death a lot of physical mons. Gyroball works very well against speedy mons and often catches them off-guard. With sandstorm, leech seed, and iron barbs for chip damage, protect works very nicely.
Thiccc (Hippowdon) (M) @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Curse
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
Hippowdon: Hippowdon is my sandstorm setter and pairs well with Ferrothorn and Excadrill. It has both special and physical bulk which makes it somewhat versatile for setting up sandstorms. I am considering replacing curse with slack off but both work well in different situations. Rock slide is nice to have for coverage.
