Hello Smogon this is my 2nd RMT on here. This team has been used for quite a while and got me through a lot of LC.
Drifloon @ Flying Gem
Trait: Unburden
Level: 5
EVs: 196Atk / 116SAtk / 196Spd
Modest Nature
- Acrobatics
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Hypnosis
Drifloon plays with an average Unburden set. Acrobatics starts up Unburden and takes out annoying Fighting-Types like Meinfoo Leads. Shadow Ball is useful but Ghost-Types that outspeed Drifloon OHKO him. HP Fire is for Grass, Steels, and Ice. Snover gets taken out by Drifloon if Unburden is set.
Sadly, Drifloon gets Destroyed by most common Pokes like Staryu and Misdreavus. Priority Moves like Ice Shard Snover also trouble Drifloon. Out of everyone on the team, Drifloon is the weakest link.Modest might be changed to Jolly.4 Hp EVs don't really help when hit with a SE attack.
Dwebble @ Oran Berry
Trait: Sturdy
Level: 5
EVs: 80 Atk / 176 Def / 252 Spd / 96 HP
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- X-Scissor
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast
Dwebble is just your average Stealth Rocker. Dwebble might be changed to a Custap Lead if needed. X-Scizor is for Abra and any Grass who can't outspeed like Bulba and Lileep. Earthquake is used when Dwebble takes a hard hit from Fire-Types and hits them right back. Rock Blast covers Flying types and other Dwebble. Rock Blast can be risky if it doesn't hit enough times. The 80 Atk is to guarantee OHKO and 2HKO with SE attacks. 176 Def does help out but any STAB SE moves alway One-hit Dwebble Such as Hydro Pump Staryu. 252Spd is to always set up rocks first.
Staryu @ Eviolite
Trait: Natural Cure
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 196 SAtk / 236 Spd
Modest Nature
- Recover
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump
Staryu is my Rapid Spinner on the team. Eviolite makes sure Staryu won't takes much damage from regular attacks. 196 SAtk makes sure SE attacks will be One-hit. Even though I have 236 Spd many things outspeed Staryu like Misdreavus Recover is to annoying pokes who don't do much damage to me or deliver the final blow without dying. Ice beam gets rid of threats like Grass-Types and Kills Ground-types and Storm Drain Lileep.Hydro always gets rid of Pokes that don't resist it except for Lickitung and Defensive pokes. The accuracy on Hydro Pump can cost me a game or a tourny(Did cost me a tourny) Chinchou's T-bolt or even Volt Switch can OHKO Staryu as well as Misdreavus Tbolt.
Aipom @ Focus Sash
Trait: Pickup
Level: 5
EVs: 76 HP / 196 Atk / 236 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Last Resort
- Fake Out
Aipom is my sweeper for all pokes who don't resist Last Resort. Sash is to make sure it gets at least one Poke down. Ghost,Steel, and Rock are a huge threat to Aipom. Anything that outspeeds it is a huge threat to it.
Misdreavus @ Eviolite
Trait: Levitate
Level: 5
EVs: 236 SAtk / 36 HP / 236 Spd
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
Misdreavus is definitely the all-around Attacker. Nasty Plot is only used when Fighting and Normal Types switch out to another poke. Shadow ball picks off Ghosts and Psychics. T-bolt is for Flying and Water types like Buizel. HP fighting is for Normal, Rock, and Steel types. Eviolite keeps Misdreavus from being OHKO by itself and Abra. Misdreavus is constantly in speed ties with Timid Abra. DD Scraggy is also a threat with Crunch.
Abra @ Focus Sash
Trait: Magic Guard
Level: 5
EVs: 252 SAtk / 200 Spd
Modest Nature
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Shadow Ball
- Protect
Abra is perhaps my MVP on the team. Magic Guard is amazing for dealing Sand,Hail, and Rocks. Modest Nature will most likely be changed to Timid due to speed ties. STAB Psychic packs-a-punch to anything that doesn't resist. HP Fighting is there for the same reason as Misdreavus. Shadow Ball to take care of Ghosts. Protect is used for Fake Out users like Meinfoo. Threats to Abra are multiple hit moves and Scarf users. Priority moves are also a threat if Abra's sash has been used already.
Thank you for reading and rating my team and I know this team will probably need major changes.
