ORAS LC My First LC Team

Hello~ :3 This is my first RMT so here goes nothing I guess

ducklett.png

Ducklett @ Eviolite
Ability: Hydration
Level: 5
EVs: 180 HP, 116 Def, 84 SpA, 116 SpD
Modest Nature
-Rain Dance
-Rest
-Scald
-Hurricane

Ducklett is my go-to status absorber/rekter of Stall teams/Regenerator cores :P. After it sets up a Rain Dance, it is immune to any and all status and you can Rest without having to stay asleep. Scald is there because of it's burn chance and Hurricane is there to be able to hit things that I wouldn't be able to otherwise like Croagunk.

zigzagoon.png

Zigzagoon @ Berry Juice
Ability: Pickup
Level: 5
EVs: 132 HP, 196 Atk, 108 Def, 28 SpD, 36 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Belly Drum
-Extreme Speed
-Seed Bomb
-Thief

Zigzagoon is my late-game sweeper. It's the standard Belly Drum set, nothing fancy there, with the Extreme Speed for STAB Priority, Seed Bomb for coverage, and Thief to steal an item after Zigzagoon uses its Berry Juice. However, I found I was having a somewhat difficult time finding spots to set up, hence:

Cottonee @ Eviolite
Ability: Prankster
Level: 5
EVs: 88 Def, 220 SpA, 196 SpD
Modest Nature
-Dazzling Gleam
-Giga Drain
-Stun Spore
-Memento

I decided to have Cottonee mainly due to it having access to Prankster Memento. I have Giga drain for recovery and STAB, Dazzling Gleam for another STAB, Stun Spore because Paralysis is kinda deadly in this tier, and Memento to allow Zigzagoon to set up and sweep. The 4x weakness to Poison really hurts Cottonee though, so to balance that out I added a Steel type:

Spr_5b_304.png

Aron @ Eviolite
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 5
EVs: 116 Atk, 196 Def, 196 SpD
Impish Nature
-Stealth Rock
-Toxic
-Earthquake
-Body Slam

I have Aron on my team to balance out my team's weakness to poison, as well as being able to have a Stealth Rock setter. I have Toxic because I really didn't know what else to put on the set, Curse so it can up its defense, and I have Body slam for the chance to paralyze the opponent. Impish Nature with Eviolite lets Aron be incredibly bulky on the physical side.

Spr_5b_155.png

Cyndaquil @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
Level: 5
EVs: 48 HP, 16 Def, 196 SpA, 240 Spe
Timid Nature
-Eruption
-Flamethrower
-Extrasensory
-HP Rock

Cyndaquil is my Scarf user on this team, basically its job is to clean up late-game to allow Zigzagoon to sweep. I have Eruption because Scarf Eruption kills all the things :P, Flamethrower in case Cyndaquil gets to low HP, Extrasensory because coverage, and HP Rock because more coverage. Timid Scarf allows it to outpace Scarfed Bunnelby and 48 HP EVs give it an odd HP number so it can switch in on rocks if it has to.

Chikorita @ Eviolite
Ability: Leaf Guard
Level: 5
EVs: 236 HP, 32 SpA, 240 SpD
Calm Nature
-Leech Seed
-Giga Drain
-Aromatherapy
-Protect

Chikorita is my dedicated Special wall/Cleric thingamabob. I have Leech Seed on the set for recovery, Giga drain for even more recovery, Aromatherapy to heal status, and Protect to get back more Leech Seed recovery as well as to scout for moves. Calm Nature allows it to maximize it's SpD

So yeah, let me know what I can do to make this team better, Ty <3

Hey bud. As much as it pains me to say this, the team isn't realy that great, with too many fixes to make without jeopardizing the structure of the team. Most of these pokemon are unviable in the LC meta (Ducklett, Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and to an extent Aron) and the spreads you have don't benefit it. Seeing how this is your first RMT, and possible first experience in LC, I highly advise you check out the following links.

Hope this helps. If you need anything, don't hesitate to PM me or any other LC veteran which you can find in the Pokemon Showdown! Little Cup room.
