Well as the title suggests this is my first team online that i have ever made and any constructive criticism is welcome!
My team is going to be a hazard damage/stall-like team but with a few big hitters. The idea is for my big hitters to do as much damage as they can before they faint and then leave my wall Pokemon nice and healthy with hopefully some switching hazards out. From there my stall Pokemon are well equipped to help me win. My main weakness is a x3 200% weakness to rock but other then that i think my team looks well balanced.
Itachi
Lead: Weavile @ Focus Sash
Jolly 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Pressure
-Brick Break
-Pursuit
-Ice punch
-Sword Dance
I wanted to try for a possible quick snipe with this guy as the lead with his decent speed. I would want to try and save him to deal with pesky dragons as well.
Stallers (If that).
Zetsu
Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helm or Leftovers
Sassy 252 HP / 64 D / 192 SpD
Iron Barbs
-Power Whip
-Leech Seed
-Toxic/Thunder Wave
-Spikes
I'm using this guy to switch out for some nice Iron Barbs/Rocky helmet damage on top of the entry hazard damage they would of already taken and use Toxic to counter and other stallers and leech seed for some last stand survival. Spikes and power whip for obvious reasons.
Deidara
Zapdos @ Leftovers
Calm 248 HP / 228 SpD / 32 Spe
Pressure
-Heat Wave
-Thunder Bolt
-Roost
-Thunder Wave
I can use this guy to deal with flying/water pokemon that my Ferrothorn can't handle and thunderwave threats of my team while they are either poisoned or burnt. Roost to heal up and Thunder Bolt for some nice STAB damage while Heat Wave gives me coverage.
Gardevoir
Gardevoir @ Leftovers
Relaxed 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 D
Synchronize (Unfortunately)
-Wish
-Confuse Ray
-Psychic
-Will-o-Wisp
Yes i know this isn't the best Pokemon and Calm nature would be much better however i love this Pokemon and this is a legit shiny that i got as a level 1 so it would feel wrong not to have it in my team while i'm only just entering the online scene. Anyhow this pokemon is my cleric basically with wish and protect combo and Will-o-Wisp to go with my semi stall genre.
Now for my heavy hitters.
Konan
Chandelure @ Choice Specs
Modest 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Flash Fire
-Energy Ball
-Shadow Ball
-Flame Thrower
-Psychic
Just a typical Special attacker, Flash Fire to predict any fire attacks coming for my Ferrothorn especially. This thing hits like a beast and i've got 31 Ivs in SpA/Speed/HP and D for her which is awesome :D.
Kisame
Garchomp @ Life Orb
Jolly 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Rough Skin
-Sword Dance
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge/Fire Fang
-Outrage
A powerhouse for my team with good coverage on what the rest of my team misses out on. If i can get a sword dance off even better!
Not sure if i should replace Stone Edge with Fire fang so he can deal with those ice poke's which counter him heavily.
A few things (of possibly many) that i think i would have problems with is Tyranitar, Infernape and Blissey due to having no fighting STABs and Infernape being able to outspeed me however i think Chandelure will be able to handle him nicely, heavy switching hazard teams, and rock mons as i have no water moves.
The main flaw i think is that i don't have stealth rocks, maybe if i replaced my spikes on Ferroseed (along with leech seed T_T) for stealth rocks would be better?
Well that's my first team that i have came up with, i know it has (many) flaws but hey, it's a start. I would really really like any form of constructive criticism on what changes i may need.
And no, i haven't tried this team out yet as i'm yet to get all the pokes and Iv/EV's i need but i would rather it be rated before then so i know what changes i would need before i go through with it! Thanks in advance and be gentle :O.
