My First OU Team

So this is my very first post onto Smogon, so tell me how I can improve on the team, and posting these RMTs. And sorry for no pictures, I couldn't figure out how to get them, but when i do I will be sure to post them

Here is my thought process while building the team:

1:Ok, so at first I decided I wanted to get rocks up as soon as possible, and stop others from doing so. I decided to use Aerodactyl, as he is very quick, can set up SR, and can use taunt.

2:Then, I decided to have a fire-water-grass core. I really liked the defensive Celebi set, so that is what I chose to go with.

3:For my water type, I wanted it to take special hits, and dish out some damage. I thought that a CM Suicune would be great for this role.

4:After that, I didn't see that much pokes that were a problem for these two, so I decided to get a mixed Infernape as my fire type, so he was less predictable.

5:I saw that since Aerodactyl was more of a suicide lead, I needed a fast poke that could revenge kill and take out dragons since I couldn't really do much to them. Choice Scarf Mamoswine went in perfectly as my revenge killer as he could handle dragons, is very fast, and can deal tons of
damage in one hit.

6:After this, I saw that my team needed a strong special attacker, since all of my sweepers were physical. I chose Nasty Plot Lucario since he isn't very common, and could take out Reuniclus with a dark pulse.

7:Lucario didn't do me very well though, he wasn't fast enough to successfully sweep, and would be easily KO'd by something. I thought that Zoroark would go great with my team as he could disguise as Infernape or Celebi to use a nasty plot unsuspected and then get rid of one of their counters early on.

Now Zoroark is doing great on this team, and this is the last change I have made so far.

And here they are:

Terrordactyl (Aerodactyl) (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd/ 4 Hp
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
This is my AMAZING lead. He out speeds almost anything besides Deoxys S. Basically he is a suicide lead made to set up rocks or taunt others, and then dish out the damage. Sometimes he can perform a mini-sweep just with his sheer power and speed. I picked Rock Slide over Stone Edge because I wanted to try to get some flinch hax, and so it would hit more often.

Haircut (Suicune) @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam
- Scald
- Hidden Power [Electric]

Here is the water type of my Fire Water Grass core. Suicune is here to take mostly special attacks, and fire type ones aimed at Celebi. He is my solid main counter to Heatran, and after 1 or 2 boosts he can 1 or 2HKO him depending on Heatrans Special Defense EV's. I gave him 128 Def and 128 Sp Def, so that he could take physical hits pretty good since Calm Mind boosts his Special Defense already. Suicune has done my team lots of good work and after a good amount of CM boosts, can pull off lots of sweeps.
-Ice Beam is mainly for dragons, as my team doesn't have a steel type to take Dragon type Moves.
- Scald is Suicune's main STAB move and I picked it over Hydro Pump or Surf because I didn't want to take the chance that it would miss, and I wanted to get burn hax.
-Hidden Power Electric is for the Water types who think this is Crocune, or that think they can wall him

Tinker Bell (Celebi) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Recover
- Leech Seed
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Giga Drain
Ahh Celebi. Celebi is a wonderful Pokemon with great 100 stats all around. She is the Grass type of my core. Celebi is an amazing wall, especially to Ferrothorn.(It walls the wall). Anyways Celebi is usually my main choice in taking on steel types, or just any hit in general.
-Recover is for quick healing, and helps me during stall wars with leech seed.
-Leech Seed is more recovery, and is usually the move I use when I predict a switch into something.
-Hidden Power Fire makes this Celebi work. without it, steel types would be waiting at her front door. I can usually 2HKO Scizor, and sometimes 3HKO Ferro.
-Giga Drain is for even more recovery, and to take out bulky water types, especially Water and Ground types that wall Suicune.

Kabam! (Infernape) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- U-turn
- Overheat
- Close Combat
- Mach Punch
This mixed ape is great because he is not very predictable like the common choice set is. A lot of times, people end up seeing Overheat, and automatically think Special Attacker. Then I hit 'em with a Close Combat. Thats basically the strategy in Infernape. Overheat, then U-turn or Close Combat.
-U-turn is for scouting, and just as a move to use on predicted switches
-Overheat hits crazy hard, and followed up with a Mach Punch is devastating.
-Close Combat is for a strong physical stab, and for Heatran
-Mach Punch is for Priority for a revenge kill, or if the Overheat or Close Combat didn't get the job done.

Mammoth Pig (Mamoswine) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Icicle Spear
- Superpower
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
Mamoswine is my main revenge killer, and is really good at it. I chose Mamo because Dragons were still going to beat my team if I only had one counter to them. Mamo out speeds most dragons unless they have a DD up. Suicune counters scarf Hydreigon who out speeds the heck out of this thing, which leaves Haxorus and Salamence, who usually aren't scarfed so Mamo can out speed them if they don't have DD's. So, Yeah he is basically my only counter to dragons.
-Icicle Spear was so that Multi Scale Dragonite gets his ability broken, and then, attacked with x4 super effective afterwards.
- Super Power hits Ferrothorn like a freight train does to a truck. Mamo can sometimes 2HKO, and easily 3HKO a max defense Ferro.
-Earthquake is for another reliable STAB move to use.
-Stone Edge is kind of just for filler, I'm not really sure what else to put here.

Zoroark (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Illusion
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Focus Blast
Zoroark is the newest member of the team, and does a heck of a lot better than Lucario did. What I do with Zoroark is disguise as Infernape against Reuniclus or another Psychic type, and set up a Nasty Plot while they go for Psyshock or Psychic. Then Dark Pulse comes straight at them. But Zoroark is a great Pokemon, and has many times been the last man standing and swept the rest of the opponents team.
-Nasty Plot is to become a monster and 1HKO everything.
-Dark Pulse is for STAB, and for some reason I get flinch with this move a lot.
-Flamethrower.. Hmmm.. I wonder why I would use this... Could it be for Ferrothorn??? I think Yes
- Focus Blast is for Hydreigon, and other Pokes that don't mind Flamethrower or Dark Pulse.

So yeah this was my first Competitive Battling team, so if you have suggestions or comments PLEASE tell them to me so I can improve this team and as a battler in general. Thanks!!!

On suicune, run a Bold nature, and change the Ev spread to 252 HP, 176 defense, and 82 special defense. Suicune really doesn't need that much Ev's in special defense, as it's stat raising move raises the special defense stat. There is something wrong with your Celebi set. Leech Seed, Recover, and Giga Drain? Run Leech Seed / Recover, Leaf Storm, HP Fire, and Thunder Wave / Toxic / U-turn. Infernape looks good. Scarf on Mamoswine. :/ Run Choice Band with an adamant nature. Ice Shard, Earthquake, Superpower, and Icicle Crash / Stone Edge. This set functions as a wall breaker, and it can 1 hko Dragonite, even without multi scale broken. I don't really know much about Zoarack, so I can't comment on him.

Ok, I see how your Celebi changes would help, and I WILL be trying them out. I had Celebi have Leech Seed, Recover, and Giga Drain, because I wanted him to be sort of stallish. Suicune still couldnt take physical hits, so I will change that. Mamoswine was intended for Dragonite, and if this allows him to counter it, then I will change it. I guess my team could also use a wall-breaker. Anyways thanks for your help and ill let you know how the changes go

I would highly recommend running a bold nature with a 252 HP, 252 Def EV spread as well as changing his moveset to include Rest over HP Electric. I've used Suicune to great extent and the majority of Water types that you were going to hit with HP Electric can simply be outstalled and you can get the kill with Scald or Ice Beam once you have a sufficient amount of CM boosts.

Yes, I used to be able to get away with it, but now having no recovery move is killing me. I will definatley put rest on Suicune
