SS OU My first OU team

Hello. I have been playing Pokemon since...RBY days. Even now I will never stop playing the game. I have decided on attempting to create a competitive team and after careful considerations, this is what I was able to come up with.

Seismitoad

Items: Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Earth Power
- Knock Off

My lead Pokemon. A simple Stealth Rock and Knock off and then I switch him out. Scald to try and snipe out some burns on Pokemon trying to switch into it. Earth Power mostly for the rotoms and Zeraora

Rotom-Heat

Item: Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Overheat
- Discharge
- Toxic

My wallbreaker to set up against defensive pokemon. I also consider him an assist to Dragapult with Toxic so that Dragapult can go ham with Hex

Clefable

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 196 HP / 252 SpA / 60 Spe
Calm Nature
- Moonblast
- Teleport
- Wish
- Protect

My answer to the Pokemon that I have that have no recovery move as well as my pivot to get the pokemon I really need in battle safely. Pretty self explanatory I think.

Zeraora

Zeraora @ Magnet
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Close Combat
- Play Rough
- Grass Knot

Can I be the first to say I love this Pokemon the moment I laid eyes on it? This guy pretty much imo covers the patches my team has as far as typing is concerned. Pretty much my go to guy to start breaking down teams and pressuring Pokemon that's not ground to think twice

Corviknight @

Items: Leftovers
Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Iron Head
- Defog
- Roost
- Body Press

The Defogger of the team. I decided to use Iron Head to handle the fairies in the game. I personally like Body Press due to how it handles Excadrill

This is my updated team. I hope you guys like it! ^.^

Well this is what I got for my first try. It's probably not perfect, but it is a pretty cool team to play with. I hope you guys like it and see if it needs some tuning. Thanks a bunch

washtom can burn it
drill can revenge since most are band
corv beats 1v1 if it boosts before it comes in
Washtom can't switch in on Banded or in Rain, and does nothing to it besides burning it.
Drill loses to scarf and requires a sac to get in, then the Vish player just switches out.
Corv just dies. You need to be at +2 to even take a hit lol. And even then Brave Bird doesn't kill.
252+ Atk Choice Band Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Rotom-Wash: 251-296 (82.8 - 97.6%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Choice Band Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. +1 252 HP / 32 Def Corviknight: 331-390 (82.7 - 97.5%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+2 0 Atk Corviknight Brave Bird vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Dracovish: 229-270 (71.3 - 84.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
And as for Pex...
252+ Atk Choice Band Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 141-167 (46.3 - 54.9%) -- 98.8% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery
It mystifies me that people think Pex checks Vish from the builder (ie:before you know it's Scarf and there's no rain). At best it recover spams and prays for no crits assuming you got a free switch-in, at worst your Vish check learns it's Banded the hard way. Also Pex gets destroyed by Vish's coverage.
252+ Atk Choice Band Strong Jaw Dracovish Psychic Fangs vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 190-224 (62.5 - 73.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery
252+ Atk Choice Band Dracovish Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 150-178 (49.3 - 58.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery
So basically there's two options for this team. I see also you don't have a Rock setter (and no, Cinderace does not count as you allow your opponent to dictate the hazard wars), so Toad might be a good fit. On the other hand you can just accept that Vish is getting a kill every time it comes in, and just pray you don't run into it too often. I it's too late where I am to do a full rate sorry, but just some things I picked up.
Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Scald
- Earth Power
Toad set for you if you go down this route. Earth Power lets you go full special since most things are physically defensive ATM and it lets you be faster than most Toads, with Protect to scout Choiced mons and status, since it turns out Toad is a terrible user of Toxic and is way better off fishing for Scald burns that actually make its switch-ins think twice. It normally likes Wish support due to not having recovery of its own, but it'll be interesting to integrate that. Anyway like I said, sorry this isn't a fuller rate, it's really late where I am.

I could see how Seismitoad can help out with the issues my team have. And if Wish support is what can help it, would it make a big difference if I were to make Clefable more of a Utility instead of a Life Orb user?

Yeah, I was considering that but that leaves Exadrill as your only real wincon.
Cinderace ATM is in an awkward spot where it's not got the longevity to make a utility set work, but it doesn't have the firepower to be a wincon. While Pyro Ball can hit like a truck, its other moves have to be supereffective to do anything of note, meaning it struggles against anything that resists Fire, which is more than a few hazard setters and removers. It's redeemed by the two most common mons in these categories being Steel (Corv and Drill) but it can't switch in on Drill.
So I'm not sure. I would suggest replacing Cinderace with Toad, but that leaves a fair part of the team walled/forced out by Steels like Corv, Bisharp and Drill. Not to mention it means you may need another pivot, though you do have Pex at least. I'd like some other people's thoughts here if possible.

How about Dragapult with this setup?

Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast
- U-Turn

Can replace Cinderace and outspeed Choice Scarf Dracovish

And Washtom can be swapped for Toad as well

Heya. So after testing and swapping around on Showdown, I have an updated team

Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt

Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Excadrill @ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin

Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Def / 136 SpD / 88 Spe
Careful Nature
- Brave Bird
- Substitute
- Bulk Up
- Roost

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Haze
- Toxic

Hatterene @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Psychic
- Dazzling Gleam
- Mystical Fire
- Trick Room

So I swapped out Cinderace with Dragapult because I already have a spinner and Court Change didn't really do me so good as I hoped it would and Dragapult's amount of movesets really helped me with handling Steel types. I also swapped out Rotom-W with Seismitoad and he helped out tremendously against weakening down the Dracovish for Dragapult to finish them off. I also decided that instead of Clefable I use Hatterene as a late game sweeper or a wallbreaker as she's pretty good when it comes to the clean up role. All in all I have more wins than losses with this team. I should swap Toxic with Protect for Seismitoad as well as maybe put a U-Turn on Dragapult, but I want to know your opinions on this team overall. My only concern right now based on my matches is Ferrothorn with Power Whip as 3 of my Pokemon are weak against grass

Team updated. Look at the very first post. Had to do some switching around and a few testing. But this is what I was able to come up with. (Now that I think about it, I should have just posted the remake version here instead of editing the first post >.<')
