My first RMT (Baton pass)

Point of the team is to use 2 baton passers so if one fails its not all over

Ninjask (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 255 Atk / 255 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Protect
- Swords Dance
- Metal Claw
- Baton Pass

standard BP ninjask, metal claw is included cuz it works wonders when you get taunted and gets 2hko on azelf/aerodactyl after SD, watch out for sandstorm/fake out leads as they break the sash, most of the time it goes 1st turn: SD 2nd: prot 3rd: pass to something that will likely resist the enemys move

Octillery (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Suction Cups
EVs: 255 Atk / 255 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Gunk Shot
- Seed Bomb
- Waterfall
- Bounce

Rather underused pokemon but its here for one reason, Suction cups prevents phazing from roar/whirlwind and with Att and Spe increase a beast of sweeper too

Metagross @ Lum Berry
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 255 Atk / 255 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Zen Headbutt
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- ThunderPunch

one of main BP receivers, abuse the enemys weaknesses, Lum berry is obvious to cure annoying status that otherwise ruins his sweep

Machamp (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: No Guard
EVs: 255 Atk / 255 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- DynamicPunch
- Ice Punch
- Fire Punch
- ThunderPunch

another BP recipient, various punches take advantage of weaknesses and dynamic punch confuses when im not sure what to use, again Lum berry for status cure

Kingdra (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Sniper
EVs: 255 Atk / 255 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Bounce
- Outrage

More BP recipients, DD included so he can setup on his own in emergency,

Lum for status

Gliscor (M) @ Yache Berry
Trait: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 255 HP / 255 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Rock Polish
- Taunt
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass

2nd Passer, Taunt is given so you can counter p/hazing, yache berry so he'll live an ice attack

It doesn't really seem like this team was thought all the way through too well. And you never run 255/255 EVs, if you want to max out stats, always use 252/252/4 because it takes 4 EVs to increase a stat by 1 point and you can't have 256 in one stat so 252 is the max. I don't know what status ailment you are so afraid of, but I don't think 4 Lum Berries is entirely necessary. As for Ninjask, that is not a standard Baton Pass set, most Ninjask Baton Pass sets would use a bit more defensive investment. Steel is a horrible attacking type in general, and I can't see Metal Claw accomplishing anything outside of taking out frail Pokémon weak to it after a Swords Dance or two, like Aerodactyl, which rarely falls victim to a 1HKO by +2 Metal Claw. I would say that Octillery is a major gimmick, and that set doesn't have good coverage. Octillery has a huge movepool, but most of it is for special attacks instead of physical attacks. I don't know why you think Steel is a good attacking type, but it really isn't, and the same goes for Flying. Flying attacks hardly receive any use in standard play, and Bounce is a bad move regardless of the type. I would completely remove Bounce from this team if it was my team

If Ninjask gets Taunted, you're doing it wrong >_>

Protect guards Taunt, by then you're faster, so you BP. X-Scicor 2HKOs Azelf, and for Aerodactyl, assuming you DO get taunted, they'll switch out, knowing that you can't do... anything... except a horrible Metal Claw. Go with X-Scicor.

Ocitllery doesn't seem useful. It's redundant with Kingdra, and Suction Cups doesn't seem all that useful in OU, with it's poor stats.

Your teams all physical. What're you going to do Against Hippowdon, Forretress, Skarmory, Swampert, or Gliscor? That's a long list. You a special attacker.

Bounce is, honestly, a poor move, as are all "charge" moves. The only Pokemon it's used on is Gyarados, only because of STAB, and Celebi who completely walls it, so don't use it.

Go with Swift Swim for Kingdra. A 2x Crit should already kill them. 2x speed occasionally should be a lot more useful.

Really... it's just not a good team. A team needs more than Baton Passers and receivers. What happens when they get a Dragon Dance or something? Where's your evenge killer? Do you have Stealth Rock?

I would highly consider restarting a new team, myself.

Please expand your descriptions as they're definitely not up to rule 3:

RMT rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

Take a look at the RMT archive to see what kind of descriptions we are looking for. PM me the fixed descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
