2zP4WMqus553VrFmzZs2aNWvWrFmzZs2aNXtd+wd8VnZhcXdi9gAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Pressure
Relaxed
252 Hp/ 252 Def/ 4 SpD
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Roost
Drill Peck

I replace Land for a Zapdos. With Zapdos on my team now i successfully check Jellicent and Volcarona.T-Bolt for STAB, Thunder wave on a switch,Roost to heal off any damage and Drill Peck for STAB and to **** up Volcarona. This is a custom set suggested by New World Order.

Salamence @ Life Orb
Initimidate
Rash
80 Atk/ 252 SpA/ 176 Spe
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Brick Break
Roost

My main wallbreaker and sun check. If this guy comes in safely it can immediately can 2HKO the entire metagame. There are literally 0 switchins. Blissey and Heatran die to Brick Break, everyone else despises Draco Meteor/ Fire Blast. Intimidate allows me to use him to check dangerous threats like Darmanitan and SD Lucario (which is why the Speed EVs are designed that way btw). and Against a sun team, this guy will be my main asset. So Roost is necessary to ensure he lives.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Inner Focus
Adamant
252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp
Swords Dance
Close Combat
Ice Punch
Extremespeed

My late game sweeper. This guy absolutely shreds shit apart once Salamence is done picking holes in my opponent's team. SD Extremespeed means that many revenge killer that would otherwise have been problematic like Infernape are now KOd. Ice Fang is really just for Gliscor, although if I
manage to paralyze Salamence or something during the game, its all good

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Iron Barbs
Relaxed
252 Hp/ 48 Def/ 208 SpD
Spikes
Leech Seed
Thunder Wave
Power Whip

This guy is the first of my paralysis inducers. Spikes helps Mence and Luke get kills, Leech Seed is to give Ferrothorn a form of healing. Rocky Helmet does something called pseudo spin blocking. While it doesn't actually block Rapid Spin, the opponent loses like 30% of their health just for spinning. Which means they wont want to try until Ferrothorn is gone. Ferrothorn is also my way to take Outrages. Perhaps Ferrothorn's most important job is keeping rain at bay. It helps deal with Rotom-W, Starmie, and Jirachi among others.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Serene Grace
Careful
252 Hp/ 224 SpD/ 32 Spe
Iron Head
Body Slam
Wish
Stealth Rock

The second of my status spreaders. Jirachi gives me a way to defeat many dangerous threats such as Reuniclus and non-disable Gengar. Jirachi is also my main way of absorbing Draco Meteors, since Ferrothorn absolutely absorb the Hidden Power Fire special dragons seem to love to carry. Wish is there mainly to heal Ferrothorn, but if I play properly, I might be able to give Lucario a second chance at sweeping, or Landorus a second chance at getting a revenge kill.

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Poison Heal
Impish
252 Hp/ 176 Def/ 80 Spe
Swords Dance
Earthquake
Ice Fang
Taunt

Gliscor is the glue of the team. With paralysis support, it can actually get a surprise sweep once in a while. Taunt is a must have move, those SD+Protect+EQ+Ice Fang Gliscors suck. Taunt is what allows you to beat Conkeldurr, Ferrothorn, Breloom and others. Ice Fang is there to pop balloons, and EQ is there for STAB. However, I don't just blindly throw him out against fighting types since a lot of them carry ice moves nowadays specifically for Gliscor. (see Lucario)

Well that concludes my team rate, like, copy your choice also some credit to New World Order for helping build my team. Bye

this is a good team, but jellicent gives you a few problems. salamence can hit it hard, but that's it, so i suggest using a Choice Rotom-W over landorus. it still scouts, and gives you a great sand and rain check. here's the set:

Rotom-W @ Choice Scarf / Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 144 HP / 228 SAtk / 136 Spd (use 4 more speed EVs [out of HP] if using HP Fire)
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Volt Switch / Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Ice] / Hidden Power [Fire] / Thunderbolt
- Trick

use timid and max SAtk + Max speed if using specs

Aeromence, that opens up a massive Volcorona/ Salamence hole. And Volcorona/ Salamence are far more dangerous threat than Jellicent. Ferrothorn although it doesn't like Will-o-Wisp, is an acceptable check to Jellicent.

Hmm i see where getting at Ill test Rotom-W out. Thx for your suggestion

salamence takes volcarona with ease, and after 2 boosts (or chestorest) the whole team is smashed anyway (except salamence). DDmence is dealt with by gliscor and mixed is dealt by jirachi. jellicent is still a bigger threat than any of those even without lando. also with Rotom-w, it makes the awesome gliscor + jirachi + Rotom-W core

That's exactly how I like my Salamence. With 584 EVs. As far as the team goes, Ferro + Jirachi seems a bit redundant. Maybe switch Ferro to CM Virizion. Seeing as you have no special attackers on your team.

I see your point. However, in Salamence's case, it doesn't have anything to hit Volcorona with. However, I do see your point about Jellicent being a pain. So, I'm going to suggest a custom set: Zapdos. Zapdos still laughs at Jellicent as always. But gives you a way to beat Volcorona, because this Zapdos does something it hasn't done since Gen 2: Drill Peck. Thats right, I just suggested Drill Peck because I can. I'm bringing this fossilized move back into the game. Has anyone actually clicked Drill Peck in 5th Gen OU yet? Like on any pokemon? At all? You can also carry Thunder Wave on Zapdos, which coincides directly with the team's strategy of paralyzing then pummeling foes. Speed EVs designed to **** around with Gyarados.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Pressure
Gentle
252 Hp/ 208 Spe/ 48 SpD
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Roost
And for the first time in 5th gen: Drill Peck.

So zapdos is used as a bit of a utility pokemon. i like it, but the team misses the speed of scarf rotom and lando. I guess metal lord can turn the team a bit bulkier, to suit with no revenge killer, but it'll be a huge shift.

@Howard - it's only a problem when you have no physical attackers. i made a team the peaked mid 1400s and had no special attackers. also, salamence does a good job at special attacks

Fail! I just realized that Gyarados is gonna outspeed you anyways because of Dragon Dance. You might want to switch to a bulkier EV spread, since there's actually no reason to run any speed. I'd say give either Relaxed 252 Hp/ 252 Def/ 4 SpD and Sassy 252 Hp/ 252 SpD/ 4 Def for now. I'm not very good with EVs (as shown by my attempt to outspeed a Dragon Dance Gyarados with a Zapdos) so you might want to play around with it.
