Hey guys I've been playing pokemon since the R/B/Y days and I'm just getting into competitive battling. I'd really appreciate if you would take a look at my team and give me any tips or advice you have. I'm interested in the feedback that I will get, and my team has worked pretty effectively on shoddy battle when I use it. Most of the pokemon are pretty standard, but Im looking for help on more the synergy part, as soemtimes there feels liek there are some holes. Thanks for the read!

Aerodactyl @Jolly Evs:252 Spe/252 Atk/4hp
Ability: pressure

Item: focus sash
Moves:
Earthquake
Taunt
Stealth Rock
Rock Slide

Alright, standard Aerodactyl. Usually taunt first if I think he''l steallth rock, or go for one my self. After the initial send-out hes either usually dead or cannon fodder, as Im usually not lucky on being able to use him again.

Latias @timid Evs: 252 SpA/252 Spe/4hp
Ability: Levitate
Item: Leftovers
Moves:
Calm Mind
Dragon Pulse
Recover
Surf

Special sweeper, although I still send it out as a special wall sometimes if I get a few calm minds up. Good combination of moves, And is usually able to rip things up after a few turns.

Scizor @adamant Evs: 248 hp/252 atk/ 8 spe
Ability: Technician

Item: Choice Band
Moves:
Bullet Punch
Pursuit
Super Power
U-Turn

Standard Revenge Killer. Does its job well, although sometimes I send it in straight as a physical attacker. Is that bad?

Lucario @ Jolly Evs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 Def
Ability: Steadfast
Item: Life Orb
Moves:
Swords Dance
Close Combat
Ice Punch
Extreme Speed

Ok this is the slot Im in need of help with. Its basically another scizor. It plays the same role, but I cant think of anything to put here. Advice?

Blissey @bold Evs: 252 def/152 hp/ 104 spA
Ability: natural cure

Item:leftovers'
Moves:
softboiled
flamethrower
toxic
aromatherapy

Special Wall!!! Aromatherapy because status moves annoy the crap outta me. I'm constantly debating about its movest, because I prefer seismic toss but ghost pokes are realllllly common.

Vaporeon @leftovers Evs: 188hp/ 252 def/ 68 spe
ability: water absorb

item: leftovers
Moves:
wish
protect
surf
hp electric/ice beam

Defensive wall/ my counter to gyarados. Other than gyarados though, hp electric is basically useless beause it doesnt do much damage to other water types. Worth putting in ice beam or somethin?

As it stands, water pokemon give my team a hard time, as well as bulky dragons. Overall I'd say its a pretty average team, and not half bad. I also experimented with a hp fire gengar and an adamant salamence in place of latias, but salamence fit in horribly, although the gengar was pretty successful.

Once again thanks if you took the time to read this, and please give me a piece of your mind!

Please expand your descriptions as they're definitely not up to rule 3:

RMT rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

Take a look at the RMT archive to see what kind of descriptions we are looking for. PM me the fixed descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
