I have just recently started online battling with pokemon, so I made the team that I am about to explain to you. I've battled with it a couple times, but I feel like with some teams that I've battled in the past, give it a really hard time. For this reason, I have come to the RMT thread.
Zoroark @Focus Sash
Ability: Illusion
EVs: 252Atk/252Spd/4HP
Nature: Timid
-Nasty Plot
-Night Daze
-Focus Blast
-Flamethrower
So Zoroark is the pokemon that I always like to lead with. I begin the battle with having my Zoroark disguised as my gengar due to resistances that it has to gengar's weakneses (i.e. psychic). The focus sash gives me a chance to set up a nasty plot and start sweeping as much as my Zoroark can.
Skarmory @Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Def/ 252 HP/ 4 Atk
Nature: Impish
-Whirlwind
-Stealth Rock
-Brave Bird
-Roost
Skarmory makes for a great wall. I can switch him in onto physical attackers and set up stealth rock while they either switch out, or I take one of their hits. Whirlwind is great for hazing pokemon that have set up before, but it's also great for juggling through the other team's pokemon and spreading some stealth rock damage. Rocky Helmet helps by taking chunks out of an attacking pokemon's hp if they decide to attack skarmory and i can easily heal any unwanted damage with roost if i need to.
Gyrados @Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spd/ 4HP
Nature: Jolly
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
This guy is an awesome sweeper. I love intimidate, because i can switch gyrados into a pokemon to get the atk drop, and possibly force a switch. this switch gives me the oppurtunity to set up a d-dance and start the sweeping. Life orb gives me the extra boost in attack that i feel it needs from the lacking atk it has due to its jolly nature, but i do feel that leftovers could make a great item for it too.
Garchomp @Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spd/ 4 HP
Nature: Adamant
-Dragon Claw
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast
As you can see, this garchomp has an adamant nature, rather than the traditional jolly nature. I chose adamant, because i felt that the extra speed investment would be a waste since it is scarfed. The moveset has great STAB moves and i was thinking about giving it fire fang instead of fire blast, but fire blast helps to take out those pesky ferrothorns that seem to be running every where now, which give my team some trouble sometimes.
Infernape @Black Belt
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252Spd/ 4 HP
Nature: Jolly
-Swords Dance
-Mach Punch
-ThunderPunch
-Flare Blitz
This Infernape has helped me out SO many times! What I love about it is that it can force so many switches and what the oponent usually switches into is a water type after i set up a swords dance. The oponent usually thinks i have stone edge, but in actuality, i have the thunderpunch to take them by surprise. This especially goes well with the common gyarados that switches in that even with intimidate, i can take out easily with thunderpuch. Mach punch makes for a great priority move and is complemented by the boost that black belt gives.
Gengar @Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252SpAtk/ 252 Spd/ 4 HP
Nature: Levitate
-Substitute
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
-Sludge Bomb
My team was lacking a special sweeper and i figured that a gengar would do a great job as one for my team. It offers great support with being able to take hazardous earthquakes that my infernape might fear with its levitate ability and like i previously said, it's the perfect disguise for Zoroark. Just about everything gengar is weak to, Zoroark can take. Zoroark is able to take the dark moves and psychic moves that gengar might be afraid of and offers as great protection from zoroark's weakness of fighting type moves. Substitute gengar seemed like a great option since I already had a scarfed pokemon.
