My first RMT

Hi buddys :D.

I've been playing Pokemon for a while now, and with this team I've made, i think i can actually go far in the PO ranking. Its basically a team used to counter what I see and hate on on PO. With that said, here's my team.

Rossi (Scizor) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- U-turn

My typical lead. Can deal enough damage to those who are slower, and then i can proceed to deal with whatever is first. Pursuit is to deal with annoying reuniclus' that try to set up nonsense on my team. Superpower for T-tar and others weak to fighting moves. Bullet punch is for the stab and the boost it gets from Tech.

Morgan (Tentacruel) (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Rain Dish
EVs: 216 HP / 40 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Ice Beam
- Scald

The rapid spinner for my team. I was using Starmie at first, but it's way too frail and easily gets Koed by Volcorna, which then proceeds to rape my team. Toxic spikes for the nuisance it causes, Ice beam for dragons and scald for the burn chance.

Reid (Politoed) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 56 SAtk / 200 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Focus Blast
- Hypnosis
- Perish Song
- Surf

I love this thing xD. High HP, good SDef and a decent movepool makes it fun to use. Plus, now it has drizzle so i dont have to worry about sand teams trying to sweep me. Focus Blast is there for T-tar, Hypnosis for setup, Perish song to prevent sweepers from sweeping and surf for Stab.

Garcia (Cofagrigus) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Mummy
EVs: 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Haze
- Rest
- Hex

Physical wall for my team. Completely wreaks pokemon like conkurdurr, Toxicroak and Gliscor, who rely too much on their abilities. Will-O-Wisp is to hamper physical pokemon, Haze to remove all boost, Rest is for recovery and Hex over shadow ball because my team tends to spread status a lot

J.J. (Parasect) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Spore
- X-Scissor
- Leech Seed
- Aromatherapy

Supporter of my team. Spore is the most fun move here, since whatever is in when this move hits is going to sleep for sure. X-scissors for the stab, leech seed for infinite recovery and Aromatherapy to get rid of status.

Hotchner (Zapdos) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Drill Peck
- Roost

With this pokemon, im not exactly sure. I've done well with the first 5 by themselves. It seems to work wonders with this team, but not sure whether to use something else that would help me better. Anyways, we have Thunder for the 100% accuracy and the stab, Hidden power ice to hit those who resist/ and immune to thunder, Drill peck for extra stab and roost for recovery.

Only threats my team fall to are Thundorus, gyarados and occasionally garchomp if the rain is gone. Other than that, my team does pretty well against many people.

Try this Zapdos, ESPECIALLY since your team is status inducing..

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Bold
EVs: 252HP/60 Def/196 Sp
-Toxic
-Roost
-Substitute
-Discharge

Discharge for great STAB + Coverage and high chance of Paralysis, Toxic + Sub + Roost for one of the best toxic stallers in OU

OR

You can include this guy in your team..

Thundurus @ Life Orb
Hasty
EVs: 196 SpA/60 Att/252 Sp
-Hammer Arm
-Taunt
-Thunder Wave
-HP Ice/Thunderbolt

handles Blissey/any 4x Ice Weak Dragons/Cripples any sweeper bar Excadrill and Garchomp, but the Common Sword Dancer Chomp is Outsped by you anyways, and Taunts any pokes trying to set up on you be it SDers or Entry Hazards~

Seeing as this is a more stall-oriented team, definitely don't try to use as little choice items as possible unless if you absolutely need to. Choice Specs Zapdos does not accomplish much. For one, Thundurus is better with choice specs/scarf. So either use Thundurus for the offensive role or use a defensive Zapdos.

I honestly don't see much use for Parasect here other than cleric support. Status doesn't really cripple you, at least not enough for you to consider using Parasect. If you want a dedicated cleric, use eviolite Chansey or Blissey. Otherwise consider something more useful in rain.

Cofagrigus isn't the best spinblocker--no reliable form of recovery, and since you aren't using it for its working offensive properties consider Jellicent instead. It has a much better typing, and has access to reliable recovery. Basically it does everything Cofagrigus is doing but better. Of course it would make you electric weak--as a result, consider replacing Tentacruel with something such as Forretress for rapid spinning. It does compound your fire weakness but that should be okay provided you manage to keep rain constant.

You're sort of weak to certain rain counters such as Ferrothorn or Virizion. Zapdos can semi-stop Virizion with drill peck but nothing can get past Ferrothorn. For that you can replace Parasect with something capable of dealing with Ferrothorn such as Toxicroak or Conkeldurr. Toxicroak especially enjoys rain and deals with certain threats like DDScrafty.

Ill probably use thundurus over Zapdos due to the fact that it has a better atk stat. If i were to replace Parasect, it would probably be for something that can tank electric hits well, since ill probably replace Jellicent for Mummy. I dont like using either toxi or conk that much, but if i have no choice ill probably go with toxicroak due to Dry skin
