Well, I’m fairly new to shoddy and haven't had much success. Just recently i have created this team and win much more often. In my first day of testing I had an 8-2 record. My team is made up of powerful sweepers, a baton passer, revenge killers and one wall. Most of my team is ridiculously frail and would like some help on improving it. Rate/Criticise/and basically HELP :)
At a glance:
Sets:
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Jolly (+Spe/-Sp.Atk)
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 176 HP / 252 Atk / 82 Spe
*X-Scissor
*Substitute
*Swords Dance
*Baton Pass
Ahh, good old trustworthy Ninjask. This is the baton passer I mentioned, obviously, and gets the team of the mark instantly. On the first turn I substitute to get a free speed boost and if it remains unbroken I get off a swords dance aswell. Provided there is no hail or sandstorm, the leftovers recovery means i get at least 1 extra sub. I don't see the need for focus sash because of all the Tyranitar leads around. Also, i'll be the fastest thing on the field, provided there are no ridiculously fast scarfers that have invested heavily in speed EVs. I usually baton pass to Breloom because with say, 3 speed boosts it is the fastest pokemon inthe match. Then I can spore, sub with him if Ninjasks is unbroken and rip through anything. Late game this thing loses its use because of how common stealth rock is and i will have used most of my HP through subs. If i do get it back on the field it can do a little cleaning up with STAB X-Scissor. He is one of the main reasons i need a spinner as he could come back on the field and baton pass to anything left alive.
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Adamant (+Atk/-Sp.Atk)
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 218 Spe
*Aerial Ace
*Stone Edge
*Earthquake
*Sucker Punch
Dugtrio is one of the best revenge killers around, the fact that it learns sucker punch and has the ability Arena Trap only add to his succes. I can afford to give him lifeorb because he doesn't take much damage from stealth rock and I don't excpect him to hang around for long. Stone Edge takes care of fliers that resist earthquake, Aerial ace gets grass and bug types and sucker punch is for priority. Him and Weavile support each other brilliantly as Weavile gets Grass, Dragon, Ground, Flying, Psychic, Ghost and anything weak to fight which most of Dugtrio can't touch. Dugtrio gets rock, fight, steel, and fire which destroy weavile. One of the less replaceable pokemon on this team.
Item: Expert Belt
Nature: Jolly (+Spe/-Sp.Atk)
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 218 Spe
*Ice Punch
*Night Slash
*Brick Break
*Ice Shard
Weavile is the second of the revenge killer combo and sometimes I baton pass to this guy because, given the oppurtunity, he can sweep with ridiculous efficiency. The moves are really self explanatory, Ice Punch and Night Slash for STAB. Brick Break for coverage and Ice Shard for STAB and priority. He doesn'tstay around long because of the 25% health dent he takes from stealth rock. Not the most important part of the team, but still very good.
Item: Toxic Orb
Nature: Adamant (+Atk/-Sp.Atk)
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 44 HP / 252 Atk / 214 Spe
*Focus Punch
*Substitute
*Seed Bomb
*Spore
Breloom is my main baton pass target provided the opponent has something i can hit for at least 50% damage. With just 1 swords dance he can 2HKO a salamence with focus punch. I've opted against leech seed because i can't risk the opponent waking up. Virtually irreplaceable uless you give me a brilliant reason. The amount of times i've 5-0'd or 6-0'd with this guy, even without swords dance and just speed boost, just isn't funny. People rarely finish battles with me when i've got this guy set up. All I can say about Breloom is WOW.
Item: Light Clay
Nature: Relaxed (+Def/-Spe)
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 30 Atk / 128 Def / 100 Sp.Def
*Gyro Ball
*Explosion
*Reflect
*Light Screen
A staple on the team. Bronzong is the only bulky pokemon on the team. Its job is to set up dual screens, do some damage with Gyro Ball and Explode. With 0 Spe IVs, 0 Spe EVs and -Speed nature Gyro Ball is a force. One of the least replaceable members on the team but may be replaced by a spinner if you have a good reason.
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Adamant (+Atk/-Sp.Atk)
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 182 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Spe
*Waterfall
*Rain Dance
*Dragon Dance
*Outrage
Kingdra is my secondary sweeper and fallback if Breloom just ain't workin' out. He needs all the support he can get from Bronzong if he is to sweep. With rain dance it doubles his speed and this helps his sweeping power. With 2 dragon dances and rain dance he is virtually unbeatable. One of the less replaceable members of the team.
Please, I would really like my reputation to increase so rate, criticise, improve and basically tear the team apart.
