Alright so to start these for the most part arent going to be your standard sets. This makes things more fun for me and less predictable for my opponents.
Lucario @ Focus Sash
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
Nature: Rash
Moves:
Bullet Punch
Aura Sphere
Dark Pulse
Magic Coat
A special attack variation of the lead lucario. Thought it would be fun to try it out. BP to break sashes and aura sphere and dark pulse for type coverage. Magic coat just in case someone uses a special attack might change to counter though. It is also effective in stopping leads such as Infernape and Ambipom with inner focus seeing that fake out wont effect Lucario. Overall a decent lead that can hold its on in the metagame.
Vaporeon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 28 HP / 252 SpA / 228 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
~ Surf
~ Ice Beam
~ Hidden Power [Electric]
~ Signal Beam
Vaporeon was pretty much the pokemon that I built this team around. I've always loved vaporeon and want to show people it's true attacking power. With the allotted EVs in speed vaporeon reaches a respectable 245 speed which with choice scarf is actually quite good. Surf is the main attacking move and then when combined with the other moves that I have on vaporeon I get perfect coverage on all types. Not really sure about signal beam but its all ive got for now.
Dragonite @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 64 HP / 252 Atk / 192 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
~ Dragon Dance
~ ExtremeSpeed
~ Outrage
~ Earthquake
While vaporeon is busy taking out threats with its special attacks D-nite will be sweeping from the physical side. With mence on the suspect list now dragonite has a new place in OU allowing it to do its job again. Dragonite was originally only put on the team at first for the much needed ground immunity. Then while I was playing around with sets I came up with this one. It seems similar to a mence set but with the addition of Extreme speed I can get some quick much needed kills.
Magnezone @ Light Clay
Magnet Pull
Relaxed
Moveset
~ Reflect
~ Light Screen
~ Thunderbolt
~ Explosion
EVs 252 HP / 96 Def / 162 SpD
Pretty much my only true wall. Its only job is to set up reflect and light screen. It is also a good choice to switch in to if Dragonite is scared of an Ice type attack and if Vaporeon is threatened by an electric type attack. I may change it to a steel trap set though to go with Porygon-Z who is severly crippled my them. Any suggestions on that topic would be much appreciated.
Porygon-z @ Life Orb
Adaptability
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest
Nasty Plot
Tri-attack
Dark Pulse
HP Fighting
Another great Special Attacker. I've always wanted to use one and have always heard of its great power. Set u a couple of Nasty Plots and most everything has trouble stoping it with its huge Special attack stat. Its one true problem is bulky steel types and Blissey. In order to try and stop both of these from stopping a sweep I'm going to use HP fighting to try and get some KOs with that but I'm not sure how effective that will be..
Dusknoir @ choice band
Pressure
EVs: 252 Attk/ 100 def/ 156 HP
Adamant
Ice punch
Shadow Punch
Earthquake
Sucker Punch
Another of my own sets. Most people really underestimate duskinior's attack stat. Slap a choice band on t and you have yourself a truely deadly attacker. This will help me with a great unpredictability factor. When most people see dusknoir they will figure that a will-o-wisp will be coming on the first turn. Instead they will get hit hard in the face with whatever attack is appropriate for the situation. Not sure if the moves are the greatest but you guys can help with that
ok thanks so much everyone any suggestions are appreciated.
