I apologize ahead of time for the messy layout. I'm not sure how to post pictures yet.
Team At A Glance
Lead
Item: Lum Berry
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 240 HP / 248 Atk / 16 SpD / 4 Spe
-Dynamicpunch
-Ice Punch
-Bullet Punch
-Payback
So far, Machamp has been an excellent lead. It combats a lot of the common leads. Gyarados usually forces a switch because I decided to go with Ice Punch over Stone Edge to combat Dragonite and Flygon. Lum Berry helps against Will-o-Wisp and other status inducing Pokemon. I'm not sure about Ice Punch / Stone Edge though.
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt
-Energy Ball
-Focus Blast
Gengar is one special sweeper I've been on the fence about. I've always had a Gengar on my team, and its because he always earns his spot. It seems thought lately his survivability is low due to Life Orb. All the moves except for Energy Ball are pretty standard. Energy Ball is my own twist to combat Swampert and other pesky Pokemon. I want to look at other special sweepers though.
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 240 HP / 216 Def / 52 SpD
-Earthquake
-Ice Beam
-Stealth Rock
-Roar
I feel like out of everything on my team, Swampert needs to be replaced. I've been thinking Vaporeon would make a good replacement. Maybe I just need to switch up some attacks and EVs with Swampert. It just seems like it isn't in sync with the rest of the team.
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SpD / 4 HP
-Earthquake
-Fire Punch
-Crunch
-Body Slam
This is another Pokemon I've been thinking about replacing. It also isn't clicking. I don't like Blissey (not sure why, I've just never been a fan of it) so I need to find something else suitable to work as a "special wall". Snorlax can take a couple hits, but its survivability with this current moveset and EVs is not very high.
Item: Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 248 HP / 8 Spe
-U-turn
-Superpower
-Bullet Punch
-Pursuit
Scizor has been working fairly well, but not as well as I would have hoped. I have been looking into possible replacements, but I'll need to play around with it to find a revenge-killer that is better and clicks better with the team. Scizor does hit hard, and U-turn is pretty great for scouting while still dealing some great damage.
Item: Lum Berry
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
-Substitute
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage
-Waterfall
Kingdra and Machamp have been sweeping entire teams. I was also pretty doubtful about using it at first, but I gave it a try and I'm really liking how it plays. Substitute gives me time for 1 or 2 Dragon Dances and unleash Outrage which can sweep entire teams. Kingdra can also take a few hits and keep moving forward which I like.
In Closing:
So far this team is 21-8 on Shoddybattle. It has proven to be pretty formidable, but I notice certain weaknesses. I don't have a solid Gyarados counter. I don't have solid physical or special walls. I like this team, but adjustments need to be made. Thanks for reading and I appreciate any comments
