Banette
Banette (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Frisk
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Trick
- Shadow Sneak
- Thunder Wave
- Sucker Punch
I used bannete alot in 4th gen i like the counter lead side of it and how it helped to pick and frustrate people. i ran knock off but with the eviolite now around trick seems better for me as i can get it off the item from the pokemon that needs it and trick again on the switch in. In a abttle about 5 minutes before posting this I did this too a ferrothorn and got rid of a sweepers life orb and thunderwaved it afterwards. The thunderwave is fun rendering the scarfed pokemon useless and the two priority moves just help to attack. One of the most underated pokemon it does need an evolution but whilst it hasnt got one ill keep arguing its case.
Durant
Durant (F) @ Wide Lens Trait: Hustle
EVs: 8 HP / 252 Atk / 248 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Iron Head
- Crunch
- X-Scissor
- Thunder Wave
This pokemon. This pokemon. WOW. How can it be so powerful and so fast for a little ant it gets 475 attack and 347 speed with two stab moves in iron head and x-scissor. this girl is a force to be reckoned with crunch is also a good moves but i am stuglling with the last slot. Thunderwave is good and helps if i couldnt get the thunderave with banette but there ar other options stone edge gives me cover for flying types for emboar and poliwath and there is the boosting move hone claws Recovering the hustle accuracy loss and more power.
Poliwrath
Poliwrath (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adament Nature
- Bulk Up
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Waterfall
I wanted a waterresitance n the team i thought about gastrodon as i used it before i stopped for my education and he was great with recovery and access to stockpile it really became powerful but i wanted a change and poliwath was that option thought it isnt storm drain waterabsorb help with the recovery after a sub or two along with leftover meanin poliwrath can boost up and stay in for longer if i can bulk up behind a sub twice its game over as only jellicent can stop it and he isnt in RU.
Emboar
Emboar (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Reckless
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Flare Blitz
- Superpower
- Wild Charge
- Flame Charge
When the final forms of the starters were realised this one was my favorite i used him in the jap version and thought hes gunna be a OU for sure but no and how happy i am hes really underated much like the rest of my time but also like the others ru is his chance to shine and he can stop pokemon in there tracs with a stab reckless boosted flareblitz and stab flamecharge with givs me +1 speed. it can seep alot of pokemon not to mention the stab superpower and reckless boosted wild charge each move os boosted giving this guy much more to over than most.
Bouffalant
Bouffalant (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Head Charge
- Wild Charge
- Earthquake
- Megahorn
My favourite pokemon from 5th gen he looks mean and must be one of the most masculine pokemon in the game. its Sap sipper ability gives me another resistance and an attack boost to make my 4 100+ base attacks even more powerful plus with a choice band his power is amazing he reaches 525 attack and with almost 400 hp and 226 defence it can take a hit. i love using this guy and i used him in my Rain dance team untill i started to get a bit of hatred for weather. The afro bull is a beast and i love him but he isnt given the recognistion he deserves so hes in RU which makes me happy
Claydol
Claydol @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
A really good supporting pokemon, if entry hazards do slip through banettes net this guy can just spin them away. i wanted a spinner but didnt want blastoise due to the need of water resistance. so claydol was my option he can set up rocks of his own and then hit with a stab earth power and ice beam. he also has levitate giving me resistances to more than 6 types including weaknesses to my other pokemon. i really great pokemon liked him since 3rd gen a real asset to my team.
So thats the team let me know what you think.
Here is a piece of toast.
