So I've been wondering what RU was like so I pooped out a team to play it.
That team won some matches 6-0 and got it's but kicked in other battles.
I'm wondering why that is, So I'm going to put my team up here for rating!
1: Bouffalant Nature: Jolly
Item: leftovers Ability: Sap Sipper
EV Spread: 252 Atk 128 Def 128 Spd
Move Set: Megahorn
Earthquake
Stone Edge
SuperPower
So I had a different pokemon at first, but got tired of Amoongus/Smeargle Sporing me all the time, so I got him in. Sort of a bulky attacker.
He's here to take the spore/sleep powder even, get a boosted attack, and sweep... sort of, more-so just Destroying those annoying sleep inducers, namely Tangrowth, and he does that job very nicely! At least from what I've seen... Leftovers is because..... well it's just filler. I don't want to choice band him because I figgure the Sap Sipper boost is enough for him to do damage, plus being able to switch moves and still recover is nice. I also don't like Life orb on him because of slowly being withered down...
2: Gallade Nature: Jolly
Item: Leftovers Ability: Steadfast
EV Spread: 252 Atk 252 Def 4 HP
Move Set: Bulk Up
Psycho Cut
Drain Punch
Shadow Sneak
I've always loved gallade. what with his awesome sword-arms (literally!)
Set up sweeper, I put def EVs in so he can actually take a physical hit, he no longer gets 2HKOed by a shadow claw from linoone now, for example.
Psycho cut for Physical Psychic stab, Drain punch to recover the HP depleted whilest I set up, and shadow sneak for priority and to handle the psychics that could wall me.
Walled Only By Tangrowth *for what I've played* He is an amazing Physical attacker.
3:Nidoqueen Nature: Timid
Item: Life Orb Ability: Sheer Force
EV Spreads: 252 Spe 252 Spa 4 HP
Move Set: Earth Power
Fire Blast
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
With sheer force, Nidoqueen is my GO-to Special attacker.
Bolt beam coverage with stab Earth Power and Fire blast for all those Air Balloon users (If any o.O)
I usually lead with her due to her being fast and her amazing Coverage.
The coverage will no doubt help Everyone of my pokes, fire blast to get rid of tangrowth for gallade also.
4: Mandibuzz Nature: Jolly
Item: Leftovers Ability: Big Pecks
EV Spreads: 252 HP 128 Def 128 Spd
Move Set: Taunt
Knock Off
Roost
Whirlwind
Mandibuzz Is my secondary wall, knock off to get rid of the enemy Pokemons' essential Items, for example, Opposing Nidoqueen's Life orb.
Taunt as an anti-set up and wall move, roost to keep up in HP and whirlwind to get rid of sweepers who are already set up.
I used to have sigilyph in this position, but he was too frail without set-up, and I never could figure out the best way to do so.
5: Galvantula Nature: Timid
Item: Choice Specs Ability: Compundeyes
Ev Spreads: 252 Spe 252 Spa 4Hp
Move Set: Thunder
Bug Buzz
Giga Drain
Volt Switch
A secondary Special attacker, he's generally walled by steels, but I don't want to get rid of volt switch due to it's utility, or thunder due to it's wall-breaking power.
Giga drain to murder those pesky ground types, and bug buzz for secondary stab Coverage. He's a threat to Tangrowth, who would otherwise be annoying, He'll get rid Physical walls alongside Nidoqueen for Gallade.
6: Ferroseed Nature: Relaxed
Item: Eviolite Ability: Iron Barbs
EV Spreads: 252 HP 128 Def 128 Spd
Move Set: Spikes
Stealth Rock
Leech Seed
Protect
Although He's complete taunt bait, He's a threat to attackers in my opinion, setting up entry hazards to annoy everyone even more.
If one of my pokes is in a bad sitiuation, wether it be a priority user or faster attacker, Ferroseed will have their backs. Leech seed and protect for Recovory.
He's my tank, and he does his job.
So, let me know what you think! If anything is good, bad, ect.
I eagerly await replies!
