My First RU Team

Magneton @ Eviolite
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Magnet Rise
- Hidden Power [Water]

With Magnet Pull, Magneton is able to prevent any pesky Steel types like Aggron and Steelix from switching; this is still better than Sturdy as even Magnet Rise ends, Magneton will still OHKO'd from Ground-type moves. Thunderbolt does STAB and power. Flash Cannon provides STAB and deals with pesky Fairy types. Magnet Rise provides Ground-type immunity. Hidden Power Water deals with Ground types. Eviolite boosts Magneton's defensive stats for better survivability.

Clawitzer (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Mega Launcher
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse
- Aura Sphere

With Mega Launcher, Clawitzer's Dark Pulse and Aura Sphere does more damage. Scald provides STAB and inflicts burn status to deal with powerful physical sweepers. Ice Beam provides type coverage. Dark Pulse and Aura Sphere also provides type coverage and gains more damage power from Mega Launcher as stated above.

Rotom-Mow @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Trick

Levitate allows Mow Rotom to bait in Ground-type pokemon to attack while providing immunity. Leaf Storm provides STAB and power. Volt Switch allows for switching out to deal with Pokemon that proves troublesome to Rotom. Thunderbolt also provides STAB. Trick allows Rotom to switch items with opposing Pokemon; however, this is useless against fast Pokemon that would use Choice Scarf to outspeed Mow Rotom.

Delphox (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Grass Knot

Fire Blast provide STAB and power; this would be more powerful with the Life Orb and Blaze ability activated. Psychic provides STAB and type coverage. Calm Mind boosts Delphox's special defenses and special attack power. Grass Knot deals with bulky heavy Water types like Swampert.

Lampent (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Trick Room
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball

Flash Fire allows Lampent to be immune to Fire attacks. Trick Room allows Lampent to outspeed Pokemon that are faster. Fire Blast provides STAB and power. Shadow Ball also provides STAB. Energy Ball provides type coverage.

Pyroar (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Hyper Voice
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Will-O-Wisp

Unnerve allows Pyroar to prevent opposing Pokemon to use held berries. Fire Blast provides STAB and huge damage. Hyper Voice provides STAB and type coverage. Hidden Power Grass provides type coverage to Water-types. Flamethrower provides STAB and power as well.

Hey, welcome to ru, I like some of the mons that you were using, although I have some changes that can improve your team, running 3 fire mons on a team can decrease the effectiveness, and it is recommended to run a varied amount of pokemon to cover weaknesses and assist with damage control.

First off changing hp water -> hp fire on magneton is a must for the trapper set, as it's primary target in trapping includes all steels with the combination of magnet pull and magnet rise and a major steel type to account for is escavalier, which can be trapped and easily dealt with.
252 SpA Magneton Hidden Power Water vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Escavalier: 40-48 (11.6 - 13.9%) -- possible 8HKO
252 SpA Magneton Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Escavalier: 160-192 (46.6 - 55.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
As you can see HP water to HP water secures the 2HKO which is crucial.

Clawitzer is a cool mon, although unfortunately this meta is very unkind to it, and a superior mon that can wallbreak more efficiently and has a nicer speed tier (beats alomomola, and other bulky waters) is Special Samurott through the addition of grass knot as coverage, and taunt for denying the spread of status and healing. Therefore I am recommending Life Orb Special Samurott over Clawitzer. Ice beam is also very nice as it works to damage grass types like amoonguss, venusaur, and tangrowth. Finally hydro pump is an essential stab that hurts anything that it hits for a lot of damage. Aqua jet can be optionally ran over taunt for the case of priority, however taunt assists your team more greatly.

Rotom Mow can be seen as beneficial to this team, acting as speed control in deterring faster threats that my threaten your team such as scarf tyrantrum, aerodactyl, etc. Due to the recent rise of S rank to Virizion and how your team is severally weak to it I would recommend changing thunderbolt -> hp flying. This prevents virizion from sweeping your team as long as you get off some prior damage, hp flying also damages tangrowth, venusaur and other grass types which would typically wall rotom-mow. The best you can do vs those currently is tricking them however, rotom loses its scarf will greatly decrease the effectiveness of it as speed-control and may proof more negative in the long run.

Lampent acts as the sole fighting answer on your team, and in this tier lampent is not considered viable, and the purpose you are using it for (strong special fire attacker can be obtained through your delphox set anyways). I would recommend changing lampent to spiritomb. Spiritomb will provide a solid answer for scarf medicham, stopping hjk spam which otherwise beats your team. Spiritomb will also provide a nice trapper for this team, assisting in taking down threatening 'mons like Sigilyph, Hoopa, and Meloetta. Will-o-wisp deters physical attackers as well.

Finally, in this tier, Pyroar can be considered outclassed by Delphox as it doesn't outspeed anything note worthy and also overlaps the role that is accustomed by this mon. I noticed that your team lacks stealth rocks which is compulsory in effectively whiddling down opponents, also magneton acts as your sole situation to fletchinder and tyrantrum which are huge and very common threats to the tier. In changing this mon and adding Mega Steelix over Pyroar. You will be able to account for all of thse concerns as well as having a nice offensive presence in a defensive mon. I would recommend a heavy slam / earthquake stab combination combined with stealth rock and finally toxic which can assist with bulky waters that are almost always switch ins for this 'mon as well as stealth rock + toxic help rotom-mow and magnezone in riding your team of the threat.

Hey there man, nice seeing a new face to the community, tho you did try to make a balanced and stable team, there are some changes that i would like to be seen. Most of the major changes were done by Chakra above, so im just gonna add on to the changes.

Rotom Mow -> Tangrowth. Your teams fits a definition of Balance and since you already have an electric type and want a good ground switch in, Tangrowth is best suited for the team. Rotom - Mow i feel doesnt fit the job as a powerhouse very well and its hard to fit on teams since its lackluster, Tangrowth can help give your team variety. It provides excellent bulk and some good offense that delivers better results than rotom-mow with moves like giga drain, sludge bomb, sleep powder, focus blast, earthquake, and knock off. It can help wall some threats and deliver some excellent power.

Optional

Your team may seem weak to sd lum virizion as it can basically sweep the whole team so i suggest you can run change life orb Delphox to Scarf Delphox as it will give you a solid answer to virizion by revenge killing it. It can also outspeed some annoying pokemon like sneasel and accelgor. It will give your team a bit more speed coverage and revenge killing opportunitys.

Tangrowth @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off
- Focus Blast
- Sludge Bomb

Delphox @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Psyshock
- Dazzling Gleam
- Trick

Hope you go through with the changes, enjoy!
