The Team!

Kabutops! [The Lead]
Adamant
Battle Armor
@ Lum Berry
74hp/252atk/184spd
Aqua Jet
Stealth Rock
Stone Edge
Rapid Spin

First of all, Kabutops is one of my favorite pokemon. He has a high attack for a devastating stone edge and a quick aqua jet. He is also being able to rapid spin out of any thing thrown at him and set stealth rocks down. Usually his first move would be to set the stealth rocks down, but if I feel the need to switch him for another then I can do that. Out of all the members this is the one I have been thinking of changing, as he is my third that is weak to fighting. But, he is very versatile with stealth rock and rapid spin while also having a couple of solid attacks. This combined creates a strong lead in my mind.

Kabutops weaknesses are covered by other members of the team. Ground by weezing and mismagius, grass by weezing and rapidash, and electric by Probopass.

Probopass! [The Special Wall]
Calm
Magnet Pull
@ Leftovers
28spd/168spdef/252hp
Earth Power
Discharge
Magnet Rise
Substitue

This special defense wall not only benefits the special defense, but also regular defense. He can cover for many of the other pokemon if they need to take a hit, as his hp is so high along with both of his defenses. Earth Power are two strong attacks that accompany his support waller skills. Magnet Rise is to eliminate one of the weaknesses that this pokemon has, while substitute will only be broken by a fighting attack. While most pokemon need another one to support them, probopass only has to worry about water, fighting, and ground. Ground, water, and fighting can be helped by weezing and mismagius. It is apparent though that water and fighting are the two big weaknesses to the team.

Weezing! [The Physical Wall]
Bold
Levitate
@ Leftovers
252def/4spatk/252hp
Flamethrower
Thunderbolt
Pain Split
Haze

Weezing is my physical wall, but unlike bastiodon is weaker to special attack. He has resistance to fighting and ground, which are two largely used attacks in competitive battle and weaknesses to my team. Even though he is poison, his levitate ability helps him avoid those ground attacks, which makes his weaknesses slim. Haze is a good skill to have for the pokemon that build up stats, as it will set them back to normal. Pain split is useful for when weezing is running low on health, because it not only hurts the opponent, but heals weezing. Not many of the healing abilities can do this. There is a price though, as if the pokemon has lower health then weezing, pain split would not be a good idea. Flamethrower and thunderbolt use weezing's special attack to its advantage, and their versatility can harm many pokemon. Weezing only has one weakness, which is psychic. There arent any pokemon on the team that are resistant, but mismagius and rapidash have nasty skills that will kill many of them in one hit.

Tauros.gif

Tauros! [The Physical Sweeper]
Jolly
Intimidate
@ Choice Band
4hp/252atk/252spd
Body Slam
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Zen Headbutt

Tauros is in my top five pokemon, and with solid stats I saw no reason not to make this bull my physical sweeper. His two highest stats are attack and speed, which make him perfect. He is often overseen as he is NU, but I will take him anyday. I have zen headbutt for those pokemon that are weak to psychic, and for flinch. Eartquake for a strong ground attack which many pokemon are weak to. Stone edge for increased critical hit and a good rock attack. Lastly, Body Slam for a regular damage dealer that can cause paralysis, which I like while some do not. The only weakness Tauros has is Fighting, which is covered by mismagius and weezing. There is a problem though with 3 pokemon being weak to fighting, but I feel as if tauros would not be the one to be exiled if I get rid of one of the three.

Mismagius.gif

Mismagius! [The Special Sweeper]
Timid
Levitate
@Life Orb
4hp/252spd/252spatk
Substitute
Shadow Ball
Sucker Punch
Hidden Power (Fighting)

With gengar in OU, I see this as the next best ghost type. It can cover for fighting damage, and looks awesome! Calm Mind extremely boosts the attacks of mismagius, which shoots up the power of all her other attacks. Shadow and Thunderbolt turn into even deadlier special attacks, while hidden power is extremely useful against those pesky normal-types. Mismagius is not only powerful, but also pretty fast and has a decent special defense. This makes her a great contender to go one on one with other special sweepers. The weaknesses of mismagius include dark and ghost. Dark is covered by probopass, but also mismagius can try to take on a dark pokemon if she is faster with hidden power. Obviously sucker punch is lingering though as an option for those dark pokemon. Ghost is protected by tauros, as all the ghost attacks cannot touch him.

Rapidash.png

Rapidash! [The Status Sparker]
Jolly
Flash Fire
Wide Lens
252atck/4def/252spd
Will o Wisp
Flare Blitz
Megahorn
Hypnosis

Rapidash, Rapidash, Rapidash! Everyone loves your look, speed, and flowing fire mane! I love it too in battle! Rapidash's build is designed to lead people into being burned and turned. Wide lens boosts the accuracy of hypnosis, so rapidash has a higher chance to put the opposer to sleep. Then, assuming that person switches their pokemon, rapidash can use will-o-wisp to burn the incoming pokemon. Flare Blitz always goes first too, which combined with stealth rock and a burn can result in a death. Rapidash is a death machine, and helps the team a lot. Megahorn is a great surprise that can catch those weak to bug offguard. Rapidash is weak to rock, ground, and water. Water is one of the weaknesses to the team that needs to be addressed, but ground is protected by weezing and mismagius, while rock is helped by bastiodon, and kabutops.

That is it on my team for NU/UU! Any comments would be GREATLY appreciated.

Bastiodon! [The Old Special Wall]

Probopass had higher special attack, which was the reason for having bastiodon. Plus with magnet rise, Probopass eliminates being weak to ground while bastiodon could not.

Hello

You have no EV's for Kabutops, I suggest the EV's spread of 74 HP/ 252 Atk/ 184 Spe.

If you like a special defensive wall, I suggest Probopass instead of Bastiodon as his SDef stat is 12 points higher:

i_probopass.gif

Probopass @ leftovers/ calm/ magnet pull
252 HP, 168 Sdef, 88 Spe

- Earth Power
- Discharge
- Magnet Rise
- Substitute

--> Discharge gives you an extra chance of paralysing while Earth Power deals great damage overall. Substitute on the switch followed by Magnet Rise and great defences leave Probopass with one dangerous weakness (fighting) which can be solved by Mismagius.

On a CB Tauros I would go with Return over Body Slam as the extra power can insure some KO's.

Since Mismagius is extremy weak to Sucker Punch I suggest Substitute on her, instead of Thunderbolt or HP fighting.

Hope this helped!

thanks for the advice! I have set them in action
I have also come up with a solution to fix the water problem. What do you raters think about putting meganium or victreebel in for rapidash. This would get rid of my water problem, and have type coverage for water. If I chose meganium her set would be Leech Seed, Energy Ball, Sleep Powder, and Earthquake. Meganium has higher defense and speed, while victreebel has higher attack.

Or you could go with Politwrath (also NU), who has water absorb, making water moves completely useless against him. A grass type could work too but since most waters carry something like Ice Beam to cover grass types it is less advisible.

i_poliwrath.gif

Poliwrath @ leftovers/ adamant/ water absorb
252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 Spe

- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch
- Hypnosis

--> A subpunch Poliwrath gives you the attacking power you need (together with Tauros). Moveset is obivious. I kept Hypnosis since you had a sleep inducing move on your other pokemon (Rapidash, Victribell/ Meganium).

Hope this helped!

I would suggest putting Nasty Plot or Calm Mind over Sucker Punch on Musmagius, because its measly attack stat which is even smaller with Timid nature, isn't going to be doing anything.

Choice Scarf Hitmonlee destroys this team. Close Combat Tauros, Kabutops, and Probobass. Stone Edge Mismagius, and Earthquake Rapidash. Sucker Punch Mismagius if it has it. Your only counter is Weezing which can be taken down by a Psychic from the now UU Alazkazam.

I would suggest a Spiritomb which can WoW Hitmonlee, and Pain Split it.

If you replace Rapidash with Poliwrath, you are goung to run into plenty of problems, namely Fighting-types, Grass-types and Ground-types. and run into a Sunny-Day team, especially one with a Tangrowth, you are doomed! I have a couple suggestions.

Probopass needs a Def.-boosting move to survive. I know he's a Special Wall, but what happens if he's the last one out on the field? You're toast. Probopass is at a disadvantage to being 4x weak to ground and fighting moves. And you can't do much when a speedy Dugtrio, or Hitmonlee switches in to you. So, I suggest replacing Substitute with Iron Defense to boost your already great Def. to make Probo into a tank.

Also, your team, like I said before, is weak to grass-types (Poliwrath and Kabutops). And since you replaced Rapidash, you need a good guardian to those two, so I suggest you replace Tauros with Leafeon.

LEAFEON @ Life Orb
Ability: Leaf Guard
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Swords Dance
Leaf Blade
Return
X-Scissor

This is Smogon's Swords Dance Sweeper set. Return for a strong neutral move, Leaf Blade for a nice big STAB attack, and X-Scissor, to cover your Grass weakness. And it's even better, because Leafeon resists grass attacks, so a good prediction will take you far. And the whole set is ended with Swords Dance, to take your already high Attack power to the next level.
