My first team, already in the UU.

Ok, so I've been walking around the forums lately without registering. And especially the RMT Threads were really awesome to read. So now I've also made my own team. I just used basic-Smogon list on the website <-- Hey what? I'm a beginner at making teams ;)

Ok here it is:

Lead:

59.png
@Life Orb.
Adamant
Intimidate
120HP/152Att/236Spe
-ExtremeSpeed
-Flare Blitz
-Morning Sun
-Toxic

At first I didn't really knew why I actually chose Arcanine as a lead, but I know now. The Froslass lead is growing with the day. So, I wanted a fast Pokémon that, with a bit of luck, OHKO or 2HKO the Froslass, or a Venusaur. Or any other kind of Pokémon that is weak against Fire. But if my opponents Pokémon is faster than my Arcanine, and it has still some HP over. Then I use ExtremeSpeed just to outrun their Pokémon if it wants to do a crazy move on me. For example: Someone used a attack, but actually missclicked, or he used a different attack just to let me think that I'm safe. Then I use ExtremeSpeed. Life Orb is just to do a little bit more damage. Morning sun is to keep Arcanine a little bit of a longer life.

Jolly
Overgrow
252Att/4Def/252Spe

-Earthquake
-Power Whip
-Swords Dance
-Synthesis

Aah, Venusaur, what a lovely Pokémon is it, now isn't it? The Jolly Max. Speed Venusaur can outrun some (mid-)fast Pokémon which can come in handy. Life Orb + Max att helps me to get rid of those fire-type Pokémons if I don't want to switch it out. Power whips is just to clear ground/rock/water type Pokémon, might switch it for Leaf Storm. I changed SP to SD, just to make Venusaur a bit more stronger with LO + 252 Att EV + SD = Pwnage! Synthesis is just to keep Venusaur longer going.
I'll mainly use Venusaur if Arcanine can't destroy the (Lead)Pokémon. Just a backstabber catcher for my Arcanine.

@Leftovers
Adamant
Torrent
28HP/252Att/228Spe
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake
-Ice Punch
-Waterfall

This is just for when my Arcanine and Venusaur both die. I still have this one, which is ALSO a powerhouse. Don't really have to say much about this one.
Dragon Dance: Just to boost Att/Spe
Earthquake: Just for when I don't feel like switching out/Venusaur died, when I encounter a Electrice Pokémon.
Ice Punch: Just for when I encounter a Grass-type Pokémon.
Waterfall: For when I ever need it. For example: I face Fire-type Pokémon, opponent doesn't want to switch out.

257.png
@Life Orb
Mild
Blaze
4Atk/252SPA/252Spe
-Fire Blast
-Super Power
-Hidden Power [Grass]
-Vacuum Wave

The reason I chose Blaziken and thus a second Fire-type Pokémon is that I wanted a second Fire-house. For if it is ever needed. And because someone suggested that Blaziken was better than Moltres I tried it out ;)
464.png
@Leftovers
Adamant
Solid Rock
136HP/244Att/128Spe
-Earthquake
-Megahorn
-Stealth Rock
-Stone Edge

It's the standard Rhyperior on Smogon. I've SR on it because if it switches in early on in the game. It can help me alot with the other Pokémon. Most of the time I switch it out as one of the last 2 Pokémon, it depends on how it's going. Anything left what the previous 4 Pokémon didn't destroyed is for Rhyperior and Mismagius.

429.png
@Leftovers
Timid
Levitate
48HP/252Spe/208Sp.Att
-Nasty Plot
-Shadow Ball
-Substitute
-Hidden Power [Fighting]

I changed Calm Mind to Nasty Plot, because just as what Uberiffic said, it this let me boost twice as fast (to be fair, I didn't knew that before :P). This one is to deal with annoying ghost Pokémon like: Drifblim, a late Froslass? Another Mismagius, Spiritomb. Or with annoying Psychic Pokémon like: Alakazam, Claydol, Mesprit (never seen one actually), Slowbro, a late Uxie (I've seen them!) and Espeon. These are of course not all Pokémon I'll face with Mismagius, but it's a big part.

I hope you like my team, and please rate my team as much as you can. It'll help my knowledge grow ;)

Lol, this took me almost an hour to type...

Bye!

Wow, more than 12 hours between the first and this post, and NOBODY could think of a reason to rate my team. At least say that my team doesn't need anything anymore, because now I just think that you guys don't want to help me... kinda...

Maybe try Toxic over Will-O on Arcanine, since it breaks stall easier.
Maybe try SD on Venusaur over Synthesis or Sleep Powder.
Shadow Ball + HP Fighting = perfect coverage
Better than Thunderbolt, but if you want max speed, stay with T-Bolt.

One thing that would very much help us help you is a list of what gives your team trouble. You don't need a complete threat list - a quick summary will suffice.

That being said, this is a pretty good team. Two Fire-types is somewhat odd, but given how they fill drastically different roles and both have recovery I could see it working.

@ShinyAzelf, Ok, I try them ;)

@Malkyrian, if you know where to find those than I'll be happy (since I'm new I don't know where to find them)

Proof read your RMT. It doesnt make total sense. You talk about using Extreme Speed on Froslass, even though it is immune. Also, you say you use Will-o-Wisp on Arcanine, when in the set you have listed Toxic. The same for Venusaur, Sleep Powder is mentioned in the analysis but not listed. Any sorry for being overcritical, here's my rate:

Firstly, running Moltres w/o Rapid Spin seems a bit counter-intuitive. For this reason, would drop Moltres altogether. You could replace it however with Blaziken, if you feel the need for a second fire type.

257.png

Blaziken@Life Orb
4 Atk / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe - Mild
Fire Blast
Superpower
Hidden Power [Grass]
Vacuum Wave

Smogon standard. This Blaziken has a very similar moveset to Moltres, but has the added benefits of taking 12.5% from SR and not 50%. The priority move Vacuum wave is needed on team stopping things like Absol and Rock Polish Aggron for ripping your team apart. Superpower provides a way to beat Chansey, and removing her will greatly increase Mismagiuses chance of a sweep

Hope this was helpful, and good luck in the future

Thanks, sorry I forgot to edit the description from the moves, and I don't know why I listed ES for Froslass, I'll change it ;)
BTW, you say: 'if you feel the need for a second fire type.' What else do you suggest?

EDIT: My team can beat up an OU Team:
myuuteambeatsouteam.jpg

I accidentally saved it in .jpg, Red = Opponent Pokémon, Purple = My Pokémon.

why not put nasty plot on your mismagius? This allows you to boost twice as fast. You lose the sepeciel defense, but mismagius isn't that bulky and isn't supposed to wall
And i would beef up your descriptions on feraligatr, blakizen, rhyperior, and mayby mismagius. I'm not sure if theyde be enough for the mods, couldn't hurt, and it would help people rate better!
