My First Team... But I think I know what I'm doing...

Klefki (Mr. Jingle-Jangle)@ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Protect
- Draining Kiss
- Spikes
- Confusion ray

I know since Swagger is banned, my group has disowned the keychain, but I still love it for the double trap set up if possible, and maybe even more if I can confuse them first. But because this is stall team, I love the d-kiss and protect too. Draining kiss also helps me from avoiding a Focus sash proc, maintaining the safety from a crazy crit or user error.

Shuckle (Mitch Mcconnell) @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 Hp / 152 Def / 100 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Toxic
- Protect
- Rest
- Snore

Jesus I found an excuse to play him. Tanky Turtle takes awesome physical beatings.... AND stalls! Very typical Rest Snore combo with toxic. Protect is Just gravy, for even more stally goodness. What makes me gravitate around the turtle over say a more natorious physical wall, is that he has so much more stall potential then any other tank. Mega Aggron was a thought, but i like the bug rock typing a lot more.

Chesnaught (Sir Charles) @ Leftovers
Ability: BulletProof
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Subsitute
- Synthesis
- Leech Seed
- Spikey Sheild

Who really inspired me to make this team. I love SubSeed, and spike shield is just flavorful and fun. He can take a beating too with his more then proper etiquette gentleman tank stats. synthesis is just to keep him healthy if he gets low, because substitute still takes more then what a leftovers and leech seed will recover if i have any thing bringing me down more HP.

Vaporeon (Catfish) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 Hp / 252 Def / 4 SpDef
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Scald
- Roar

Love it. what clears talon flame for me, and has a great Support for the team. another great addition due to it's great HP And Def stats, and fits really well in terms of typing since I can get a STAB scald off. wish is great for anything that took a bad switch or any user error.

Togakiss (Dr. Fly) @ leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 hp / 252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef
Calm Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Air Slash
- Roost
- Dazzling Gleam

What can I say, para-flinch is crazy, and it locks some pokes out of the game. While i'm well aware this isn't really that much stall over lock out, i still consider Togakiss to be a great addition to almost any team due to it's amazing move set, stats, and typing. Because Togakiss is so tanky as is i feel no shame in putting in 252 Special Attack EV.

Infernape (WuKong) @ Choice Band
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- U- Turn
- Mach Punch

Love this guy! Great anti lead if team preview tells me, and awesome killer! WHile he may not really fit a stall approach I needed a good revenge killer, and something with offensive typign to get done what my others stallers cant. Mach Punch goes great with the Choice B. giving him priority, for a nice STAB bonus.

I really like it but I feel pretty weak to talonflame, and greninja. Also I've sen posts with no mega evolution so I really don't even feel bad about not having one, because i really cant find a better fit with a mega for any slot. This is also my first real team so please, share some knowledge with me if I'm doing something stupid or scrubby. Thanks!

Klefki (Mr. Jingle-Jangle) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Protect
- Draining Kiss
- Spikes
- Confuse Ray

Looking at the EV spread, do you really think Focus Sash is necessary? It's all about if you want safety, but using Protect you can scout out moves and deem whether you should switch or not. I think an item like Leftovers would be a good choice for optimal recovery, and to increase HP given back. You might want to be careful of Heatran - it %100 walls this Klefki.

Shuckle (Mitch Mcconnell) @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 Hp / 152 Def / 100 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Toxic
- Protect
- Rest
- Snore

Shuckle... this spread looks solid enough. Massive Defence stats but about 0 HP. Over Contrary, run Sturdy to take a hit. You don't need Contrary because I doubt your going to be sweeping with this turtle-thingy. The moveset is all down to preference.

I'll do the other 4 in the morning :)

Good team. Just always remember to have three lines of text in the description of the pokemon. Personally, I find that Klefki ends up being useless and only sets up a ;yaer of spikes or two before it dies, which are then easily spun away with any decent rapid spinner. I would use forretress instead, as it can set up all three hazards as well as spin AND has great typing and physical defense. Here is my recomended set.

Forretress Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Evs: 252 Hp / 252 Def / 4 SpD
IVs: 0 Spd
Relaxed Nature
-Rapid Spin
-Stealth Rock
-Spikes
-Gyro Ball

This can gurantee at least one layer of hazards close to 100% of the time thanks to Sturdy. It can also tank physical hits short of fire moves. Stealth Rocks are your best defense against Talonflame, so use them as such. Rapid Spin allows you to get rid of opposing hazards and keep your team healthy. Forretress also apreciates Vaporeon's Wishes, so use those to keep him healthy.

If you really want Anti-Lead Infernape, here is how you do it. This shuts down Smeargle and others before they get up a single layer of hazards.

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
Evs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SpA
Jolly Nature
-Fake Out
-Close Combat
-Overheat
-Thunder Punch

This can use Fake Out to break sashes and then hammer with one of two STABs. If the Sash is still intact, this can come in and beat Talonflame with Fake Out+Brave Bird Recoil+Thunder Punch. Hope this helps

I think
Klefki (Mr. Jingle-Jangle)@ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- thunder wave
- Draining Kiss
- Spikes
- Confusion ray

is better

guys this is great and I'm so appreciative of all the help. I'm on my phone so I'm going to try to cover all this in one responds. The reason. I like klefki is because while most if mu team is really reactive, klefki is pretty much the same thing everytime. I'd open up with confusion ray, and since Im going first I can stall out there first turn if they get hit wih confusion. After that I'm garunteed a set of spikes because even if I'm hit, my sash can save me. At that point its a bless by the gods situation, where how many times confusion hits. The layers of spikes I get. I really like the idea of t wave over protect actually, and will make that change!

as for infirnape, I should been more specific. While he works as a anti lead he is I tended to have sweapi g capabilities if I can lower the hp of all there pokes by toxic and spikes. Once low, he gets to go ape shit (tee her) on them with what I think to be great coverage sweeps in this meta! His anti lead capabilities in this build is mostly for the 50 million steel type leads lime forretres, sky, And farrathorn.

guys I. So appreciati e of the help and if I missed anything please let me know so I can adress it.

Thanks!

again sorry for awful English, I'm on my phone.
