SV DOU My First Team (DUU)

I recently got into competitive pokemon, and I decided to try my hand at making a team. I already got some help with the individual members of the team, so I don't think that's what's wrong with this team. I think the main problem is team synergy, but I don't know anything about teambuilding, so any help is greatly appreciated. I'm not particularly attached to any particular pokemon, but I do like the synergy with Stamina from Mudsdale and Population bomb from Maushold.

The win rate on this honestly isn't very great. After I made it, I got a decent amount of wins, but the more I play, the more likely I am to lose. It might be a problem with how I'm playing it, but I'm not sure, so I figured I'd ask for advice here.

Team Breakdown:

Mudsdale @ Assault Vest
Ability: Stamina
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Body Press

Mudsdale is meant to be a physically defensive sweeper. With Maushold's population bomb boosting Mudsdale's defense, it can get pretty bulky, while also boosting the damage of Body Press for good all-around damage. To cover anything that resists fighting-type attacks, I added Heavy Slam, Stone Edge, and Earthquake. I gave it a Steel tera type in order to protect it from moves that would normally be super-effective against it, as well as increasing the damage of Heavy Slam (although looking back at it, I might want to change this to something else.) My main problem with this mon is that it's very specially weak. I added the assault vest to try to combat this issue, but it's still quite a big threat to this mon.

Maushold @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 128 Def / 128 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Population Bomb
- Bite
- Tidy Up
- Encore

Maushold is designed to be fast support for Mudsdale and my other attack-heavy mons. Population bomb triggers Mudsdale's stamina, making it incredibly bulky, while also doing decent damage with technician. Bite is meant to do decent damage to ghost and psychic types that Mudsdale doesn't really have an answer for. Tidy up helps with the longevity of the other team members by removing hazards. Encore is intended to trap the opponent's mons into unhelpful moves, allowing sufficient time for Mudsdale to finish them in a later round (but more commonly, I end up using it poorly, and my other mon ends up going down.) I added the focus sash to give time for Maushold to get a population bomb off on Mudsdale.

Sneasler @ White Herb
Ability: Unburden
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 212 Atk / 44 Def / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Gunk Shot
- Acrobatics
- Close Combat
- Fake Out

Sneasler was made to cover Mudsdale's weakenesses, as well as act as a decent attacking mon that doesn't require any set-up. The white herb is great for countering abilities like intimidate, while also proccing Unburden and increasing the power of Acrobatics, which covers Mudsdale's grass and bug weaknesses. Gunk shot is there for dealing with fairy types, as well as doing good chip damage with poison. I have close combat for good all-around damage, as well as covering rock-types that resist gunk shot and acrobatics. Fake out is good for Stalling most mons for a turn, preventing them from setting up or setting hazards.

Deoxys-Defense @ Assault Vest
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Psychic
EVs: 252 HP / 116 Atk / 140 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Knock Off
- Psycho Boost
- Superpower

Deoxys-D is here for good all-around defense, as well as acting as a good switch-in in most situations. I have knock off and superpower for good damage against psychic and steel types, which prove to be a threat to Deoxys. Pyscho boost is great for general damage, while also not having much of a drawback, as all of my other attacks do physical damage. I added E-speed as a way to clean up low health mons.

Alcremie (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Aroma Veil
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dazzling Gleam
- Helping Hand
- Light Screen
- Recover

Alcremie functions in this team as a support mon that the opponent should have a hard time dealing with. I have dazzling gleam as a way to deal with dragon-types, as well as decent damage to both of the opponent's mons. Helping hand and light screen are both there to assist the other mon on my team by allowing the attackers to deal increased damage and help my specially weak mons (which is most of them.) Recover and leftovers are for increased longevity, allowing Alcremie to support the other mon for longer.

Meowscarada @ Mago Berry
Ability: Overgrow
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Knock Off
- Pollen Puff
- U-turn
- Leaf Storm

Meowscarada is a fast mon that allows for momentum maintenance and healing. Knock off is here to deal with any ghost and psychic types, as well as disrupt any item-dependent combos. Pollen puff is mostly used for healing my other mon, as well as doing decent chip damage in a pinch. U-turn is for momentum control, allowing me to switch to something more bulky or supportive when required. Leaf storm is for covering water and ground types, and does decent overall damage, especially with the boost from overgrow.
