I've had alot of trouble with creating a team lately, and it would be a pleasure if you could evaluate my team. I focused it on creating a team that would focus mostly on special attacks, and that would have at least one physical revenge killer, to take down special walls. But, I also wanted to have my very own wall, and I also wanted a staller to give the opponent a tough time. So here it is:
Gardevoir@gardevoirite
-Hyper voice
-psyshock
-HP fire
-trick room
EVs:252 hp/252 spa/4 spd
Modest nature
Trace ability
This pokemon is, without a doubt, the star of my team. With hyper voice getting such a power boost, nothing gets in its way without receiving brutal punishment. Psyshock just sweeps any sweeper that comes in its way. Before you yell at me for having hp fire over focus blast, just remember that it can just mega evolve and use hyper voice to take care of dark weaknesses (which it doesn't have, thanks to fairy). Hp fire not only takes out bug weaknesses, but it also takes down steel weaknesses. And trick room makes this bulky sweeper fast as well.
Keldeo@life orb
-HP flying
-calm mind
-hydro pump
-secret sword
EVs:252 spe/252 spa/4 hp
Timid nature
Justified ability
Another pokemon to worship is this guy. HP flying covers so many type disadvantages that Keldeo has. After setting up one calm mind, there's nothing this guy can't do. His hydro pump makes everything die with its sheer power. And secret sword is pretty much just the fighting version of psyshock, so not too much to explain there.
Latios@life orb
-draco meteor
-psyshock
-earthquake
-defog
EVs:252 spe/252 spa/4 atk
Hasty nature
Levitate ability
This guy just wows me all the time. Psyshock has pretty much been explained way too much, but draco meteor+life orb kills everything in its path. But wait, what about the decrease in the special attack? Ah, no biggie, I can just earthquake because it's such an op move. And defog is essential to clearing out entry hazards. Sorry Klefki, you wont beat me.
Talonflame@sharp beak
-brave bird
-flare blitz
-u-turn
-roost
EVs:252 atk/252 spe/4 hp
Jolly nature
Gale Wings ability
Alot of you probably saw this coming as my revenge killer, because of all the weaknesses that he covers for my team. But the main reason I got him is because of roost+gale wings, I could keep this guy in forever to sweep the opponents pokemon with his super op brave bird. Flare blitz is also a powerful move, and latios clears out any stealth rocks that could be problematic. Stuck in a sticky situation? U-turn will help you get out of it.
Glisgor@toxic orb
-taunt
-roost
-toxic
-earthquake
EVs:184 def/ 252 hp/ 72 spe
Impish nature
Poison Heal ability
Ah, my wall. It never fails to amaze me. As you can tell, I really needed something to take down my electric weakness, and latios earthquake proved not to be the best canidate. So, I chose Glisgor. The poison heal+toxic orb is a classic combo, and I love it when I poison some one and heal myself with poison. Roost keeps this guy going for as long as I need him, and taunt totally screws defensive cores. And finally, earthquake is the move that does all of the electric killing.
Espeon@light clay
-light screen
-reflect
-psychic
-baton pass
EVs:252 hp/ 252 spe/4 spa
Timid nature
Magic Coat ability
Who needs to set entry hazards when you can use your opponents against them? Espeon is a duel screener, so having the light clay is a priority. The magic coat ability can screw with many pokemon's minds, especially heatran and ferrothorn. However, sometimes it has to fight, so I threw in psychic, and I have discovered that it is an extremely useful move. However, I'm not sure about BP on espeon. Should I replace BP, and if so, what move shall replace it?
So that is my current team in XY OU. Please rate it carefully, and thank you in advance.
