Well I got into Shoddy about two weeks ago and this is my first team. I would really appreciate and help I can get because this is my first team. Thank you and criticism is appreciated.
Smeargle--Van Gogh@Focus Sash
Ability: Own Tempo
EV's: HP 6/Atk 252/Spd 252
Hasty
-Spore
-Spikes
-Endeavor
-Extremespeed
--------------
Well my main goal is to Spore their lead. If I'm faster. it's an auto-spore. If their leader is a taunt user (Aerodactyl, Azelf) I switch out immediately. If I do get the Spore up, I spike away. If they switch out after I spore I do accordingly :
If they're faster, I predict the attack. I use Endeavor to bring them down to 1 health. I then Extremespeed them to their death. If they're slower, I spike from the get go. Then after they hit me, I endeavor and watch my Smeargle die.
Smeargle is such a great lead in my opinion and if I can get 3 spikes up, it makes my team hard to beat.
---------------
Vaporeon--Aquafina@Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EV's: HP 188/Def 252/Spd 68
Bold
-Wish
-Protect
-Hydro Pump
-Ice Beam
--------------
Well, one of my Vaporeon's biggest roles is absorbing any water attacks thrown at my team. Wish for team support, and protect for hogging my wish and move scouting. Hydro Pump for the STAB 180 base Attack. It's very important that I keep her alive because shes my only Pokemon that uses an Ice move. This is one main hole in my team.
--------------
Hippowdown--Rawr Hippo@Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EV's: HP 176/Def 80/SpD 248
Impish
-Roar
-Slack Off
-Stockpile
-Toxic
-------------
This is probably my favorite Poke on this team. I almost always bring it in on the same circumstance. When the other team switches an electric into my Vaporeon, I use Protect. If they Thunderbolt/Punch/Etc... I switch into my Rawr Hippo. This gives me at least 1 free Stockpile. Depending on what they switch in, I either Roar away or Stock up. I originally had Earthquake over roar, but Bronzong's killed me so I switched to Roar. Roar is also good for phazing once my Smeargle sets up Spikes. Hippowdon is my ultimate stall and is extremely hard to take down after I've got my Stock up to 3.
-------------
Forretress--Fort Knox@Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EV's: HP 252/Def 144/Atk 112
Lonely
-Explosion
-Gyro Ball
-Rapid Spin
-Stealth Rock
------------
Well, this Pokemon is pretty self explanatory. Switch on on something it resists, then either Stealth Rock for added entry hazards, or spin Rocks/Spikes away. Besides Vaporeon, this is my only other dragon counter. Switch in on an outrage, Explode that thing away. I'm thinking about replacing Gyro Ball with something else because I rarely use it. Suggestions?
------------
Rotom-H--Christmas Past@Leftovers (Switch?)
Ability: Levitate
EV's: HP 252/Def 168/Spd 88
-Will O' Wisp
-Thunderbolt
-Shadow Ball
-Heat Wave
-------------
My Rotom has two main purposes: Spin Blocker, and Scizor Killer. Honestly, it hasn't been doing very well for me, so thats why I'm posting this RMT. The main purpose is to switch in to a Starmie, Tentacruel, Forretress, Etc... and stop the spin. Then, away with STAB Tbolt or Heat Wave. My other "Goal" is to switch in on a Scizor (hence the Def EV'S) and hope to get a heat wave in. Im thinking an Infernape to replace this because Blissey's also seem to kill me.
-------------
And now, for your star...
Togekiss--Fluffy@Lum Berry
Ability: Serene Grace
EV's: Spd 252/SpA 252/SpD 4
Timid
Air Slash
Flamethrower
Tri-Attack
Roost
--------------
Wow... This Pokemon is Amazing. It works as a Scizor counter, and can annoy the shit out of people. Tri-Attack for the STAB and the huge chance of status, Air Slash for the flinch hax, and Flamethrower for Scizors. Add in Roost and it's the icing on the cake. To take this baby down, it will usually take a boosted super effective move, or a stab, high powered, super effective.
THE GOAL
So the main goal of my team is this:
Take away the Rocks so Togekiss can sweep, take away all of its counter (ie. Electric types with Hippowdon, Rocks with Vaporeon, Hazards with Forry) and sweep with Togekiss.
And I know this is my first RMT. Please be harsh. I'm open to any help.
;)
