My First Team (UU)

Ok so here is my first team I ever made for online competitive battling. I made it on Shoddy and thus far either from my not so amazing skills or from bad luck, of hell possibly the team I made just blows big I haven't lets just say won much.

Please rate and tell me how bad I really am lol

Also I wanna put sprites in to make it better but I know if I copied and pasted the link I would have about 6 or more links in the topic

Crobat@leftovers
nature: jolly
EVs:104 HP / 152 Atk / 252 Spe
-brave bird
-taunt
-u-turn
-roost

Switched with Haunterfan's advice

Claydol (Levitate/Bold) @ Leftovers
252 HP 144 Def 114 SpAt

Explosion
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin
Toxic

If Roserade's spikes don't hit a flier with poison he will. Basic come in spin away stones, set up his own and explode. Unfortunately he has yet to do all of those in one battle for me...

Milotic (Marvel Scale/Modest) @ Leftovers
252 HP/ 240 Def/ 16 SpDef

Rest
Sleep Talk
Ice Beam
Surf

Basic set on a Milo. She has yet to do those ever. She was frozen one battle, out sped in another, and the only sleep talk I got off used Rest. I got screwed there. She is the Def wall/ Fire counter. Again yet to work for me.

Houndoom (Flash Fire/Timid) @ Life Orb
6 Hp 252 SpAt 52 Speed

Dark Pulse
Flame Thrower
Nasty Plot
Hidden Power Fighting

When a counter comes in against Milotic or something that Roserade's Hidden Power can't take out he is the Special Sweeper helper. I maybe am being out predicted but he aint doing the damn job for me. I switched in on a Roserade who put him to sleep and kicked his ass. Other than that he has gotten 2HKO most times. Very frustrating

Ursaring (Quick Feet/Adament) @ Flame Orb
40 HP 252 AT 220 SP

Swords Dance
Return
Earthquake
Fire Punch

My physical sweeper. One of 2 that actually does work on this team. In the few matches I have played in he actually does do work and helps me out a lot. He once saved my ass from being swept 5-0 to losing 2-0. He is a powerhouse tank and not many teams are expecting to see him. I like him a lot here and only problems I have encountered is his speed.

Nidoking (Poison Point/Rash)@ Choice Scarf
202 At 252 SpAt 56 Sp

Hidden Power Grass
Ice Beam
Earthquake
Stone Edge

He has worked as a Mixed Sweeper to come in and help out. He has worked fairly well with Ursaring. He made that near 5-0 loss after Ursaring made it 2-1 Nido lost it 1-0. So I like him but subject to change.

So my team is all up in the air and willing to change no problem at all. I think maybe Blaziken or Feraligatr could be beneficial, possibly Registeel or Steelix. Just let me know what everyone thinks and sorry about no pictures

Thanks.

I edited in the natures, and abilities changed Nidoking's move, gave Ursaring a new item, and changed Roserade's move. I think it should probably run smoother, and in Shoddy I had the max EV's spread just didn't post them all. Let me try it out for now. Changed Houndoom's Ev's spread too. I am gonna consider changing Houndoom for Ninetails. The things I lack are a good fighting move and dark. If I lose Houndoom I'll lose my dark.

Grass Knot won't hit very hard in lightweight UU. Try Energy Ball or Leaf Storm.

There is 39 EVs missing on Nidoking

This is hard for me to do because there is no abilities present.
But Ursaring should probably have Quick Feet ability with Toxic or Burn orb. Im not sure which one would be prime with Ursaring. There are 12 EVs missing...

You have 4 fire attacks on a team. I suggest changing the Flamethrower on Nidoking to Stone Edge.

Houndoom should probably have max speed. Or you should use Ninetails to be bulky on the special side fire poke, as it gets Calm Mind.

Good Luck!

Thanks I had a lot of it right in Shoddy (EV wise) but I changed a lot of other things you suggested I gotta try those out first.

First of all, the EV spread you're using for Ursaring is the one suggested for the guts version. So, if you're using quick feet, change it to the standard 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe with jolly, or 40 hp / 252 atk / 216 spe with a jolly nature to outspeed postive natured base 100 (notably Shaymin) after quick feet is activated. Oh, and give it toxic orb over flame orb, because quick feet pokemons have their attack halved by the burn status, unlike guts users.

About your Roserade lead: sadly it's no more effective as it was some time ago. The most common leads beat it 1 vs. 1: Arcanine has often lum berry and will kill it with a combination of flare blitz and extremespeed, Crobat will taunt it and u-turn out or brave bird 2HKO'ing it, Ambipom will break its sash with fake out and will finish it with double hit\return.
I realy suggest you to use a Crobat lead, since it will also help a lot with your massive Shaymin weakness:

Crobat@leftovers
nature: jolly
EVs:104 HP / 152 Atk / 252 Spe
-brave bird
-taunt
-u-turn
-roost

I always use max speed just to tie with other Crobats, but you may use a bulkier spread if you like.

Also beware of opposing Crobats since you lack a proper counter for it.

Much appreciated advice. Yea I originally had the Guts Ursaring, but I switched to Quick Feet. I'll change that right now see what happens. Thanks for the input. I have only won 2 matches so far out of like 7. Ironically one was against an OU player lol

Maybe its the higher volume of new players that paly in standard, but UU teams seem to do decently against the average OU.(lol)
