Hey peeps. hope you like my first team.
My team at a glance..
Gyarados@Leftovers
Adamant
216HP,16 Atk, 178 Def, 100 Spe
Moves:
Dragon Dance
Stone Edge
Taunt
Waterfall
Bulky Gyarados. Taunt is in there to stop Pokemon that might use status moves, Taunt etc. Stone Edge is to counter Salemance leads, but Earthquake could also be used.
Gengar@Focus Sash
Timid
252 Sp.Atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Moves:
Shadow Ball
Hypnosis
Focus Blast
Thunder Bolt
Gengar is my favourite Pokemon, and always holds a place in a team of mine. Shadow Ball is STAB, Hypnosis is an awesome move when combined with Gengar's speed as any switch still ends in my advantage (hoping that it hits). Focus Blast is Tyranitar counter and Thunderbolt is there for type coverage. Focus sash is there so he can get a hit in on Gyarados, Weavile, and other Gengar.
Dugtrio@Choice Band
Jolly
252 Atk, 252 Speed, 6 HP
Arena Trap
Moves:
Earthquake
Sucker Punch
Ariel Ace
Stone Edge
Dugtrio is my personal mop. he can switch in on weakened foes, trap and kill (most) of them, then switch straight on out again. as he will usually only attack once, Choice band helps boost his unimpressive 80 base attack for the kill. at 120 base speed and packing Sucker Punch, Dugtrio will always get the first hit in.
Siczor@Leftovers
Impish
184 HP / 176 Def / 148 Spe
Moves:
Swords Dance
Agility
Brick Break
Baton Pass
seeing as my team lacks stats in some areas, Siczor helps me boost Dugtrio's attack, Infernape's Speed and attack, Gyarados's speed and attack, Gengar's speed and Porygon-Z's speed. it also packs Brick Break for damaging purposes, as when it uses the boosts on itself, it becomes a strong attacker itself.
Infernape@Life Orb/Choice Scarf
Naive
252 Sp.Atk, 232 Speed, 26 Atk
Moves:
Close Combat
Flamethrower
Grass Knot
Hidden Power Ice
Infernape is used by few and endangers many. Close Combat for Tyranitar and Blissey, who is literally the most used pokemon in the game and also walls your other attacks. Grass Knot is there for fatties with big defence, and HP Ice is for dragons. if needed, it can be scarfed to outrun Garchomp. Flamethrower is there for Steels
Porygon-Z@Life orb
Modest
252 Sp.Atk, 252 Def, 6 Sp.Def
Adaptability
Moves:
Tri-Attack
Nasty Plot
Hidden Power Fire/Ice Beam
Physic
No, i am not out of my mind. Siczor's primary role is to pass some speed to this, where its added bulk helps survive attacks and the added recoil of Life Orb. Nasty Plot once, and you're Special Attack and ability will make Tri-Attack a force to be reckoned with. Hidden power fire is for Jirachi, Foretress, Siczor, Bronzong and Celebi, but this makes Porygon-Z vulnerable to Tyranitar if Nasty-Plot hasn't been used.
Personally, i think my team needs these things....
A Wall
Stealth Rock
More Bulk
Extra coverage for Dragons (if Porygon-Z does not use Ice Beam)
