My first team

Okay so this is my first team. I'm new to the competitive scene, so I don't really know what I'm doing... The only thing I do know is that I want to keep a shuckle on my team, but I'm open to any other different pokemon for the other five slots. Thanks!

Shuckle@Leftovers
Bold, Sturdy
evs: 6 HP / 252 DEF / 252 SPDEF

-Stealth Rock

Shuckle has very low HP, your EVs should favor that over its already high defenses. Also, it is useless against a Taunt lead anyway. Rest without Heal Bell/Aromatherapy/Sleep Talk makes you a sitting duck.

Ludicolo@Leftovers
Bold, Rain Dish
evs: 252 HP / 129 DEF / 129 SPDEF
-Leech Seed
-Rain Dance
-Surf
-Toxic

EVs seem a bit random, try specializing in either physical or special defense rather than attempting to do both. Also, Calm nature is more efficient than Bold should you go special. Toxic seems out of place when you have Leech Seed, use Ice Beam to beat other Grass types who don't care about Surf and are immune to Leech Seed. Rain Dance also negatively impacts your Ninetales, making it less than stellar synergy.

Blissey@Leftovers
Bold, Serene Grace
evs: 252 HP / 252 DEF / 6 SPDEF
-Ice Beam
-Protect
-Seismic Toss
-Wish

You don't need to be that physically defensive, put some HP EVs in Special Attack or Special Defense. Boosting Blissey's HP really doesn't make much of a difference compared to its other stats.

Ninetales@Leftovers
Timid, Flash Fire
evs: 132 HP / 148 SPD / 228 SPATK
-Flamethrower
-Grudge
-Hidden Power (Grass)
-Will-o-wisp

Ninetales learns Energy Ball, use that over HP Grass. I don't know what Grudge accomplishes, try Nasty Plot or Calm Mind instead. Hidden Power Ground can help you beat other Fire types, who currently laugh at this, but Will O Wisp can help for stuff like Tyranitar, Gyarados, Salamence, etc.

Gyarados@Salac Berry
Adamant, Intimidate
evs: 6 HP / 252 ATK / 252 SPD
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake
-Hidden Power (Flying)
-Taunt

Hidden Power Flying is Special in D/P/P. Use Waterfall, which is physical. Taunt doesn't really help when you can't take hits well after using it, invest more EVs in your Defense and HP or drop Taunt for another attack like Stone Edge, Ice Fang, Bounce, Return, or something. Salac Berry doesn't seem as useful as something like Life Orb or Leftovers. Heck, even Lum Berry or Wacan Berry can help you out setting up Dragon Dances.

Espeon@Choice Specs
Timid, Synchornize
evs: 6 HP / 252 SPD / 252 SPATK
-Hidden Power (Fighting)
-Morning Sun
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball

This is, first of all, outclassed by other Psychics like Alakazam, and second, should not be holding Choice Specs. To be effective, you need to be able to switch moves. Use Life Orb or something. And watch out for Scizor, it can beat you with Bullet Punch, Pursuit, or U-turn.

Hoo boy... I think that covers the individual sets. As a whole, this team is very heavily special over physical, this can prove problematic with opponents like Blissey if Gyarados goes down for whatever reason.

Good luck!
