My First Team

I am Brand New to competitive battling but I am giving it a shot with this team.

Lead- Camerupt @ Focus Sash
Quiet 252 Sp Atk / 252 HP / 4 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Explosion
I am using this as my lead pokemon to at least setup SR and explode if he has to. I am using the sash so if he fails, at least the SR are up. I am using this EV spread because I want him to be able to at least do some damage if he uses Earth Power or Lava Plume.

Special Sweeper- Sceptile @ Life Orb
Mild 252 Sp Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Atk
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power ( ICE )
- Leaf Blade
- Dragon Pulse
I am using Sceptile as a Special Sweeper. He is fast, has good Sp. Attack and has great move coverage. I am hoping to switch him in on someone's death so he doesn't have to take a hit, because he is not bulky what so ever. He does have the potential to sweep though with this moveset.

Physical Sweeper- Floatzel @ Splash Plate
Adament 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Def
- Waterfall
- Bulk Up
- Substitute
- Ice Punch
I am using Bulk Up Floatzel because was always one of my favorite Pokemon. He has the potential to sweep with Bulk Ups behind him due to his nice attack stat and his also nice speed stat. I am not really sure what item to have him holding, because i do not want him to lose HP due to Life Orb, and i do not want to have him choiced. Substitute is so I can get a Bulk Up or two without taking too much damage. Waterfall is a powerful STAB and Ice Punch gives some coverage.

Special Annoyer? - Ampharos @ Leftovers
Modest 208 HP / 252 Spd / 48 Sp Atk
- Substitute
- Discharge
- Focus Blast / Focus Punch
- Hidden Power ( ICE or Grass )
I am using this Ampharos to just come in on switches, set up a sub, and take over from there. Hopefully, he can get parahax from Discharge. From there, I can use the appropriate move of Hidden Power Ice or Grass or I can use Focus Blast which will do considerate amount of damage.

Physical Wall - Miltank @ Leftovers
Impish 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Sp Def
- Milk Drink
- Body Slam
- Thunder Wave
- Heal Bell?
I am using this as my physical wall, which can paralyze almost everything and heal when it is necessary. I am not sure as for what a final move should be, but I was thinking Heal Bell to shrug off status affects on my team. Suggestions would be great.

Special Wall - Umbreon @ Leftovers
Sassy 252 Sp Def / 252 Hp / 4 Atk
- Curse
- Payback
- Moonlight
- Toxic
This Umbreon is pretty much my special wall / Curse Tank / Toxic Staller. He can pretty much annoy the other team, get off 6 Curses with Moonlight healing in between, and Leftovers recovery. Then after all those Curses, he will be a physical tank and can use Payback which will do 100 Damage. He can also Toxic stall which also a pain to the other team.

That is my first team and I am looking for any suggestions, anything that will help me out. I am willing to try new things. The stuff I would like most help with is what is in Red. Thank you for reading.

For starters, camerupts low defences, and speed doesn't really make it a reliable lead. Sure with focus sash, you can get in an SR, but realistically, many of today's leads carry taunt which disrupts that, and the predictable moveset means easy switchins. If you want something that is more bulky, and functions similar to a camerupt, try out steelix or rhyperior as your lead.
