(First off sorry for the writing been different sizes i first wrote this in word then copied it over and i cant fix it)
this team is used for VGC rules so 2 on 2 with 4 pokemon (but i have 2 spare)
Kyogre: Item: Choice Scarf Nature: Timid Ability: Drizzle
Ev’s 4 HP/252 SpAtk/252 Spe
Water Spout, Thunder, IceBeam, Surf
Kyogre is my revenge killer. Water Spout is pure power; it can easily destroy Mewtwo and Darkrai in one hit assuming Kyogre is at full health. When Water spouts PP is low it can fall back onto Surf for STAB. Thunder 3HKOes Palkia and will 2HKO opposing Kyogre, while Ice Beam OHKOes Rayquaza, Garchomp.
This is the normal hit and run kyogre it sets up rain and uses water spout to deal massive damage. The bad thing about me using this set is sometimes i might use it at the start and if there’s a slower pokemon them this kyogre then there weather effect will be set not mine.
Palkia: Item: Lustrious Orb Nature: Timid, Ability Pressure
Thunder, fire blast, Surf, Special Rend
Ev’s 6 HP/252 SpAtk/252 Spe
This set is better for being in the rain this is why i gave it lustrious orb because it gives palkia a x1.2 boost on its water and dragon attacks.
sometimes this may not be used with kyogre so just to be safe i might give it life orb because the HP loss isn’t that substantial.
Palkia is an absolute terror with Kyogre support. In the rain, Surf receives a significant boost in power and Thunder becomes 100% accurate. Spacial Rend is a powerful STAB move that 2HKOes Giratina, bulky Dialga, and Latias. Thunder severely damages Kyogre and Lugia, and also has a 30% chance of paralyzing them. Fire Blast allows Palkia to destroy many of the Steel-types in Ubers, such as Scizor, Forretress, and Metagross, and allows this Palkia to comfortably sweep in either rain or sun.
Dialga: Item Choice Scecs Nature: timid
Ability Pressure, ev’s 4 HP/252 Spe/ 252 SpAtk
DragonPulse, Aura Sphere, Draco meteor, Thunder
For the sweeping Dialga, 252 EVs in Speed and Special Attack and a Timid nature are recommended because then it at worst ties with non-Scarf-Kyogre and Groudon. It is faster than Modest Palkia and Adamant Rayquaza as well and outspeeds Adamant Garchomp too.
I choose this pokemon in my team to help kyogre with its weakness to electric and grass, Dialga has an x4 resistance to grass and a x2 resistance to electric
Scizor: Item Choice Band Nature Adamant
EVs: 200 HP/56 Atk/252 SDef
Ability: Technician
Persuit, Superpower, Uturn, Bullet Punch
Scizor is especially useful in Ubers, where Dragon-type attacks are constantly flying around.
he can function as a scout by U-turn spamming. Pursuit allows him to trap the Latias and latios and Superpower can be a Blissey slayer or a last-ditch game winner. Bullet Punch is also great for general cleanup against fast-but-not-priority-fast Pokémon.
Garchomp Item: Haban Berry Nature: jolly Ability: Sand Vail
Ev’s 4 HP/ 252 Atk /252 Spe
SwordsDance, Earthquake, Fire Fang, Outrage
This is the Pokémon that no one would expect on this team because it would then have 3 dragons on but i use this when an opponent brings out a dragon pokemon i would normally use dragon dance and they would normally think it would be a choice set and try to wipe me out with a dragon attack having Haban berry on this will stop it being OHKO by any dragon attack (exept Draco metres from latias and latios) then i could KO or do alot of damage in return.
For the 3rd attack I choose fire fang over stone edge to do damage to the steel pokemon like skarmory that might be switched in on garchomp.
For the 4th attack i chose outrage over dragon claw so i can do alot more damage when it comes in.
Tyranator: Item: (haven’t got one yet) Nature Jolly Ability: Sand Stream
Ev’s 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Stoneedge, Crunch, Pursuit, SuperPower
Stone Edge and Crunch serve as Tyranitar's main attacks, packing incredible power when backed by its outstanding Attack stat. However, the magic of this set lies in the speedy Pursuit, which gives Tyranitar the ability to put opponents into a checkmate position and eliminate them without fail.
For the 4th attack i choose superpower to do extra damange against blissy.
The reason i used this is becasue of tyranator’s ability sand stream which creates a sand storm and garchomp has 20% more evasion in sand storms
I have recently been thinking about taking tyranator off the team since scizor uses most of the things it can to help me against pokemon like blissy and can also scout it also helps my team alot more type coverge wise and since its sand storm will get rid of kyogre's rain and that has an effect on some of my pokemon)
thanks for reading my thread any suggestions are welcome
