My first time using EV lowering berries, and I need help!!

Say if I gave a pokemon 36 HP EVs, each pomeg berry I give it would decrease it by 10 EVs, right?

So after 4 berries, my HP EVs would be at 0, correct?
 
Yep

If you have over 100 EVs, the first berry will lower it to 100, then each extra berry lowers by 10.
